Avery glanced at Tracey's paper again to take inventory of what they had left to answer. She was a little worried about the fifth question because she had never done any of those spells before. She didn't even recognize the name of the last spell. Then she glanced at the last question. She remembered from past classes in Transfiguration the idea of having the visualize the thing you are transfiguring because it wouldn't go correctly if you didn't. Unfortunately, she didn't know any other options. She was worried that she wouldn't be of much help, but she knew she had to try anyway.

"I'm not sure what the answer is to five since I have never done any of those spells before, but we can still try to figure it out. The last question seems a little easier. I remember from class that we need to visualize what we are transfiguring because it can help get the correct transfiguration. I'm not quite sure about the second part though since I've never actually tried anything other than visualizing the object.

Avery waited for Tracey to respond. She hoped that the information she gave Tracey would help spark a memory about what the rest of the question might be. She felt bad for not paying more attention to her parents whenever they talked about different spells. Maybe their conversations could have helped.

Tracey looked down at her paper and realized that Avery most likely wouldn't know the answer to the fifth question, because of the fact it was a second year spell, and first years wouldn't know that spell, unless they were skilled or something like that. However, maybe Avery would know a bit about the last question? Tracey wasn't entirely hoping that she would or anything. But, well, Tracey was utterly lost when it came to Transfiguration. It's a shock she had passed first year classes.

"Yeah, especially with the spell book we found. I'm sure we can find the spells in this book. Oh, right, I'll write that down in my notes. I think the second part has something to do with someone that's blind or something like that. But if your blind, wouldn't you still be able to visualize something?" Tracey says in response to what Avery said.

Then and there did Tracey just realize she was a tad bit dumb. Of course if someone's blind they wouldn't be able to visualize anything, but she still decided to ask, because, she had a feeling that it was a possibility, because to her, anything can be possible even what one may deem impossible can be possible.

Avery nodded when Tracey asked if blind people could still visualize things. Tracey's question is actually what sparked an idea within Avery. Maybe that was the key to the last part of the last question. Maybe if you couldn't visualize something, you could try to find something that represented the object? Or maybe she was completely wrong. She may as well say her idea. It wouldn't hurt to ask.

"Maybe the way to visualize something you can't is to find something that resembles it? I'm not even sure if that is right, but I wanted to run it by you just in case." Avery said to Tracey.

As Avery waited for Tracey to respond, She began to think of other ways of what you could do if you couldn't visualize an object. She wasn't sure what else could work, but she knew if she wracked her brain enough, she would be able to pull another answer up. It may just take a little while to figure out.

Avery glanced at Tracey's paper again. She was proud of the work they had done. For being a first year, Avery was shocked at how much she was helping. She guessed that her knowledge of science and hearing her parents talking about different spells helped her understand the material a lot more.

Tracey turned to Avery when she heard her friend begin to speak. Tracey realized that the question she had asked about blind people had sparked an idea inside of Avery, and Avery was telling Tracey that very idea. Tracey listened carefully to what Avery had said and also wrote down what Avery said in her notes, since it could be useful when she's answering the question later.

Tracey didn't notice that Avery was done speaking, until she realized that there was silence between them. Tracey wasn't sure how long the silence had lasted, but it's a good thing that she remembered what Avery had said, because Tracey replied,
"That's a good possibility. Yeah, if one can't visualize something, there must be something that could represent that thing that they want to represent. But, if someone's blind, would they have a harder time then i'm having right now?"

It was a possibility, one that could easily be true, or one that could be false. Tracey had a feeling that there are talented people who are blind out there, and she respects them. In fact, she wants to learn form them. But, currently she knowns no one who is blind and talented, but, perhaps in the future she'll encounter someone of that sort.

Avery thought for a moment about what Tracey said. That was the only thing that stumped her. Maybe there was a way that blind people could sense or feel something. Well, there had to be a way since Avery had heard of witches and wizards that did things blind. She just had to figure out what it is that they did.

"Maybe there is a way for blind people to see things, and since we aren't blind and don't know anyone blind, we don't know either? I wonder if there's a book in the library about this. It sounds like an interesting topic." Avery said. Hoping that her rambling wasn't too bad. Whenever she got to talking about books, it was pretty hard for her to stop. Especially with books that she really liked.

Avery continued to think about what a blind person could do if they had never envisioned an object before. Maybe someone could describe it? No. That wouldn't work. What if they were alone and didn't have anyone to describe it to them? Avery shook her head. Of all the questions to truly stump her, it was this. Of all things. Why did such a simple looking question turn out to be so confusing and unable to be deciphered?

Tracey knew that finding the answers to her questions about blind people would be hard, but, she never thought it'd be this hard. Tracey knew that she and Avery didn't know what it was to be blinded, but if there were to he some way for one to imagine what it would be like to be blind, then, perhaps they would get their answer.

"Yeah, that's true. Perhaps blind people have a special way of doing magic, since they can't see. Honestly, that'll be cool though. Having a special way to do magic. Well, the library does indeed have a whole bunch of books. No doubt they should have a book that could help us. We should go check it out. I think my answer is good for now. We could go check the library, if you'd like?"

Tracey looked back at her answer and was happy with it. Sure it could use some detail, but that was about it. The library would definitely help. Tracey wasn't sure if Avery wanted to go to the library, so Tracey didn't pack up her stuff. She didn't want to force Avery into going to the library, but Tracey had a feeling that Avery would be willing to go to the library with her, but the Ravenclaw wasn't 100 percent sure.

Avery nodded and said, "That would be cool! Well, being blind wouldn't be fun, but having
a special way of doing magic would be very interesting!" Avery had never thought of things like that. She hadn't really even thought about what it would be like to do magic without being able to see it. Magic just came naturally to her.

Avery's eyes lit up when Tracey asked if she wanted to go to the library. Avery loved the library. The smell of old books, new books, anything books made her feel right at home. Like she could dive into a story and never come out. Avery snapped out of her daydream. Not wanting to keep Tracey waiting. "I would love to go to the library! If you're okay with it, of course."

As Avery waited for Tracey's response, she thought back to the library. She hadn't had a ton of time to explore it yet, so this would be the perfect time to finally find a new book! And the perfect time to learn more about how blind people do magic!

Avery thought about what books she wanted to read. Maybe she would get a book about dragons? Or maybe a book about Transfiguration? She had no idea what she wanted. There were just too many options to choose from!

Tracey was glad that Avery had agreed to what she had said. It would definitely be cool to have a special way to do magic. Sorta like as if you have a gift, and only you can use that type of magic, and no one else can.

There was definitely a lot of things to think about, and a lot of research to be done as well, just to answer this one question, which has turned into many smaller questions, which lead up to the answer of Tracey's initial question.

Tracey smiled when she saw Avery's eyes lit up, and she knew that the younger girl definitely wanted to go to the library. Hearing her question, Tracey nodded her head before saying,
"I'd love to go as well. Just let me pack up, then we can go,"

Now knowing that they'd be going to the library, Tracey began to pack up her things, making sure to not leave anything. When she was sure she had packed everything, Tracey closed her bag and got up from her seat and walked over to the door of the study room before turning around to face Avery and ask,
"Shall we go down to the library now and begin another treasure hunt?"

Avery nodded and also began to pack up the couple books she still had on the table. Once she was done, she pulled her bag up and stood. She watched as Tracey finished packing her bag and stood up to walk over to the door. Avery followed behind her. Ready to begin a new treasure hunt. A hunt with books.

She couldn't wait to see what they could find. She also couldn't believe she had never thought about how blind people did magic. That led her to more questions. How did people that were deaf and blind or even just deaf do magic. Maybe they all had their own special way, or could they not do magic at all?

Avery knew the answers to all her questions were nestled within the old books in the library. Each book carried a story sometimes long forgotten. That's what Avery loved most about books. They told a story that was different from her own. A story she could imagine herself being in instead of her current situation.

Avery walked out of the study room and headed towards the library. Excited and ready to begin a new adventure. An adventure that would lead to unexpected answers.

As Tracey was packing up her own bag, out of the corner of her eye, she saw Avery do the same. Apparently, Avery hadn't packed her bag after she was done with her Charms homework. Tracey stood at the door with her bag slung over her shoulder. When Avery approached her, she knew Avery was ready to head to the library.

Tracey was unsure if Avery knew her way completely around Hogwarts, and she wasn't sure if she should ask either. But Tracey did know that the two girls were ready to go to the library, but one must lead the other, or they could both walk side by side. Tracey wasn't sure which Avery wanted, but the excitement of finding the answers to the many questions that blossomed with the one question Tracey had asked caused Tracey not to ask Avery's preference of walking to the library.

No, instead it caused Tracey's feet to leave the study room. Tracey took control of her feet again but allowed her thoughts to erupt with many different types of questions, mainly surrounding the question of how witches and wizards with disabilities do magic. Was there a special way for them? Could they not do magic? Questions like that, and Tracey knew her questions would be answered via the books in the library.
