My name is Alaric Equinox, I am owling you today because I have taken up the position of Astronomy professor in your stead. I have had the chance to go over all the lesson plans that you made, and I am very impressed. I was hoping you might have the availability to meet with me at some point I would like to meet the man responsible for such a great lesson plan and maybe pick your brain a little. I personally have never taught in a magical school and I would like your opinion on if some of the things I used in my muggle classes would work here as well.

I am more than happy to travel to Hogsmeade for this meeting. I’d also like for you to choose the place since admittedly I have not been to Hogsmeade since I was in school myself other than to acquire my owl. If you do not wish to meet, I will most certainly respect your privacy and not bother you anymore however the invitation is always open you only need to send me an owl. I have not changed class times so unless I have a meeting scheduled with a student, I can be free at any time. I would like to thank you in advance for your time and your consideration.

Good evening Mister Equinox.

With this letter I can assure you that I have gotten your owl and since I do not own one myself, will let your owl take the resposnsibility to carry the answer back to you.

I did not expect to receive an owl by you or any of th people at Hogwarts, which is why this owl has taken me by surprise. However I feel free to meet you. I will be bold to assume that ou gave me free choice over both place and time to meet and since I am dealing with a somewhat busy schedule at the moment, I would want it no other way, if I may be honest with you.

As for the place I would suggest the Three Broomsticks Inn rather than the Hog's Head Inn; especially at late evening. Would 11:20pm on Friday night sound good to you? It should give you enough time to get here after finishing your class.

I appreciate your timely response with how busy you are. Zurie is a very loyal and faithful companion she almost gets restless if she isn’t doing something so do not fear to wear her out, she is almost constantly flying about anyhow. 

11:20 pm, on Friday, at the Three Broomsticks Inn sounds perfect to me I will be upfront with you the sun and I don’t exactly get along. We are on speaking terms but only rarely. Well, I shall not take up any more of your time with this letter. I very much look forward to meeting you and I hope you enjoy the rest of your week.
