Andy struggled to throw the ball far enough, an that is exactly why he signed up for quidditch to be a keeper. That is more of his position. After the two switched places and Charlie sent off a throw, he flew for the ball. It was very hard to see a ball as big as a quaffle already in the rain, meaning that seekers need good eyesight. He saw the ball flying down into the mud, so he pulled his broom down so he was flying down to catch the ball. With half seconds left before the ball touched the mud, Andy jumped off his broom, caught hold of the ball, threw it upwards into the sky and kicked it as hard as he could towards Charlie's direction. The ball was safe from the mud, but Andy wasn't. He landed with a PLOP on the mud, and his gloves, Quidditch leggings, uniform, all of his acsessories for training where splattered with mud. He got on his broom and flew over to Charlie. Well, I guess this is what taking one for the team means. Ha... As he waited for a answer, he looked at his dirty clothes. Andy would easily be able to wash or maybe use a spell to get the mud off, but he left his wand in his dormitory, and their are no sinks nearby either. Uh... let's brobably call it a day... Said Andy. Well, I am going to the locker rooms to go and change. Thanks for the practice! Andy waved good bye to Charlie and walked into the locker rooms.

New team, new skills
The two Ravenclaws continued doing the drill. Charlie made catch after catch, often having to fly forward and dive to catch the ball.
Charlie remembered back to the summer when she was training to be a keeper with her father. She had spent hours diving and dropping the ball before she was able to even get close to catching it. But the thing that made her better was practice. Without the amount of work she had put in over the summer, she would be so terrible that she wouldn’t even be able to block any shots for her team. To be real, she still let many shots through which made her angry, but she knew that she was still young compared to many of the other players. They had been playing their whole lives while Charlie had just started playing during her first year at Hogwarts. She felt nostalgic, thinking back to the beginning of her first year, when the castle seemed so big and going to school seemed so hard. Charlie wished she could have written a letter to her younger self, telling her that everything would be ok, because it really was.
On Andy’s turn, she chucked the ball so far it went through and behind the hoops, so she decided to dial it back. And that had been a mistake. She threw the ball softer but while Andy essentially expecting for it to fly the whole distance, it fell short and he went into a dive after it. She winced as the ball splattered into the mud, covering Andy’s clothes and face. “Sorry!” she called out awkwardly, as he flew up to her, holding thr mud drenched quaffle. He said something about taking one for the team that Charlie did not catch fully, so she just smiled slightly, not enough to reveal her fangs but enough to show the slightest hint of her teeth. “Yeah… sorry about that…” she said trailing off. Andy wanted to call it a day, which Charlie agreed with. She was soaked through to the bone and would probably have a cold the next day. “Yeah. Sorry about the mud. You are welcome, let me know if you need any help with more training.” Charlie decided to skip the locker room and went straight to the broom shed, drying off her silver arrow before putting it away. She was ready for a warm bath and a warm tea by the fire.
