This where you can rp your IC art requests, or simply your first meeting, and what you created. There are paints, paper, quills, a few brushes, ink, and scraps of buttons and lace to work with, or whatever you brought with you.Have fun!
If you are not a member but would like to join click here!March 1st, 2025While generally quite unremarkable, today the Study Room was made slightly more intriguing by the various art supplies lining the large wooden tables. Adeline had spent the last couple of weeks gathering supplies for this day, and was quite pleased with everything she had acquired; two colors of ink (black and lilac), some extra pieces of parchment, a set of basic paints and brushes sent to her from Tenby, and a myriad of buttons, lace, and other small bits of treasure the girl had found across the castle grounds. The art club members would be arriving at any moment to begin their various projects, converse about art, and even request art from other students. Adeline made a list on a piece of parchment titled "Art Requests" and gently placed it onto the table in front of her. This would be where students requested art from other members of the club.
Adeline smiled contently to herself, an Art Club was something she had wished she could participate in back home in Tenby. She wasn't particularly good at art, but found peace and happiness in painting and poetry, and couldn't wait to share the fondness with her peers. She took a seat at one of the tables, grabbing a spare quill from the Study Room, the Lilac ink pot, and a spare piece of parchment, and began to doodle quietly as she waited for the other members to arrive.

Although he tended to be by himself when he would sit to do any art, today Jaemin would venture out to join the art club for their first meeting. While he probably wouldn’t admit it he was indeed happy to get to share in the company of fellow art lovers and was excited to actually get to see others work as well. He tended to stick to drawing or painting so he wasn’t sure what others would be working on while they had their meeting but Jaemin already knew what he wanted to work on today. After being inspired seeing a phoenix in one of his books he wanted to try to draw one based off that image. To be comfortable while drawing he wore a basic white t-shirt with a light blue flannel over it, some jeans and his favorite pair of converse sneakers. He wore his contacts today so he wouldn’t have to worry about his glasses moving down the bridge of his nose while he had his head in his paper.
Upon entering the room he noticed a fellow Ravenclaw sitting at one of the tables. Oh, that’s right, she is the one who organized this club, Adeline I think her name was. He thought as he closed the door behind him, giving a small smile and wave to the girl. Jaemin had seen her around in the Ravenclaw common room but never got the chance to speak to her so he was nervous, trying to figure out something to say. “Hello, I’m Jaemin. I’m here for the art club meeting. You’re Adeline right?” He said as he walked closer to the girl, who as he got closer to the table realized she had been drawing before he arrived. Taking a look around he saw all sorts of art supplies laid out, he was impressed by the set up she had laid out already. ”Can I sit here?” Jaemin asked, pointing to the spot across from her at the table.

The rustling sounds of another student entering the study room caused Adeline's concentration to break. A young boy in a blue flannel that she vaguely recognized to be a fellow Ravenclaw; an easy friend. He gave her a quick wave, and a soft smile. Upon first impression, he seemed warm, and kind.
As the boy approached Addie, she could fill her heart beat accelerate- someone actually came! The dark haired boy introduced himself as Jaemin, and politely asked Adeline if he could join her at the table, to which she happily obliged. "Please!" she paused, collecting herself as to not sound too terribly excited to meet her first Art Club friend. "Sit wherever you like, and use whatever you would like to as well." She gestured to the myriad of supplies strewn about. As Adeline turned to smile warmly at the boy, a stroke of inspiration washed over her.
"Say, Jaemin..." the young Ravenclaw girl trailed off, reaching for a fresh sheet of parchment, and the black ink pot. "Could I maybe... draw you?" the awkwardness hung heavy in the air. "You can keep drawing, or painting, or whatever it is you want to do... I just find myself lacking inspiration, maybe a live model is just what I am missing." She hoped to herself that he would be accepting of her idea, and not put off by her forwardness.
