If you need any help with faceclaims, I have a Pinterest board that I made dedicated to faceclaims. They are separated by hair color too!

Character development is always really hard, but you get there!

Have you tried looking at this post by Lear, under "Avatars"? As for myself, I looked at child pictures of actors, so you could also try that.

And I have the opposite feeling of having made a character that's too generic. Hopefully he'll build his own personality with experiences and new abilities over time.

Koko used to be really... Cold... And kind of rude at times... It helps to find a faceclaim, sometimes two (I do one art and one RL), so that there's less chance of having the same one. I could maybe help you find something? Here's a List of Child Actors that I found. You can try looking at that if you want. Child models are also a good idea. As for character development, I really felt that until about March when I managed to make her attitude shift a lot. You'll find it!
