I just need a friend... Closed

By sheer size, Hogwarts was exciting in one moment and completely overwhelming the next. Vera found her legs taking her away from the bustle of 7 grades of chatty students in the castle and out to the sprawling grounds. Sun flecked off her hair, making her tousled red hair shine like a new penny. She liked the grounds: they were green and vast and had a welcoming quietness to them. It was about a 15 minute walk to the lake, where cattails sprung up in patches and shade of willows started to impede the natural sun. Of course, Vera was still unable to escape people out here, though... and she soon came upon the other student lying in the grass with an unusually friendly ferret. 

"He got a name?" she inquired about the animal, figuring it was a pet, "Seems kinda attached to you."

Blaze didn't try touching the ferret cause he knew it would run away, so he just sat there looking at it. "What are you doing" He told it probably looking like a weirdo but it didn't matter to him he had gotten used to it. 
A few minutes pass and Blaze is about to doze of when a girl walks up to him, and asks about the ferret.
"Oh him or well i think it's a him I don't know I helped it out of that bush and now its not leaving." Even he was confused by its friendliness but he didn't mind it being there.  When he got a better look at it he saw that it had a gash on its under belly. "Hey do you see that?" he asked pointing at the injury.
Then he put his hand closer to it hoping it wouldn't run and at first the ferret was skeptical about this hand coming towards it and when ever he put his hand closer it would walk a step away. After a minute of slowly getting his hand closer and closer the ferret finally stopped resisting and Blaze finally put his hand on the animals head.  "Well if were going to be friends you will need a name" He looks down at the ferret once more and decides "Truffle! cause of your black white and gray fur." 
He then turns to the girl "That's his name now!"

Sanmiitai randomly jumped in the air, her dark hair everywhere. "I am so excited to be here!" She walks out of the hallway and outside into the breathtaking sight of nature, and smiles. "This place is gorgeous."  She says quietly. She goes for a walk and sees a bird on a branch of a tree. She walks to it to see what it's are doing. "Hello, you are super cute. Mind if I sit here?" The bird stared at her blankly, so she sat down at the base of the tree. She thought about how her family was doing at home and smirked. "My sisters are probably at school still," she says in her head.
Sanmiitai stands up "Good-bye bird," she says, and walks away. While she walks, she sees something that looks like a pond, " I loved our pond back home, I mean it was small, but little frogs always lived there!" So Sanmiitai races to the pond and sees a frog, she picks it up and talks gently to it then puts it down and it hops away. She looks around and sees two people near the pond, she walks over, curious, and smiles. "Hi!" she says happily. She gasps when she sees the small creature near, "Aww! She or he is so cute! What is she? Or he? 

She wanted to observe hogwarts, as it was a relatively new place. She walked outside and spotted a small group of people, including what appeared to be another Hufflepuff. She watched carefully and decided to simply stay back instead of interrupting. Elizzaa~ Just go say hi! what could go wrong? she ignored her thoughts and observed, and noticed a small ferret. Her eyes narrowed as she stared at it, completely ignoring the other people. She peeked around a bit shyly and smiled at them and walked a few steps to them, still silent. She still was silent while observing the Slytherin girl, how peppy she was. Seems unfitting, I thought Slytherins were evil... She shrugged in her head and watched how this would fold out.

Sanmiitai instantly fell in love with the small creature. "Its so cuuute!" She says happily. She sits down next to the two people and looks around and sees someone looking in their direction, she waves and yells "Hi!" Sanmiitai smiles inside. She likes her new school and wants everyone to be her friend. She looks back at the cute creature and waves at it. "Hello little guy," she puts her hair into a ponytail, this weather is so nice! If only it was like this at home. She says in her head. She searches her memory and tries to figure out what the creature is. Aha! It is a little cute ferret! They were a popular pet back home. But then the people found out that they liked were sneaky little things and hoarded all of the peoples small treasures. She giggles despite herself. Those people should have researched before getting a pet. She talks to the ferret and smirks. Aww, I wonder what you are doing here anyway. I have not seen any other ferrets.
Well, maybe you are the only ferret in this school. Sanmiitai looks at the sky and hopes that everything goes right today, she wants this first day to be wonderful.

Cameron joined the students and said his hellos to those who were nice. Letting them continue to talk in their conversations he noticed a pet ferret as he bent forward to pet it. The ferret ran from him to the next student. "Oh well, maybe next time." He sat next to the girl and looked out at the Great Lake. He heard about the monster in the lake and was wondering if he would spot him this afternoon. Cameron didn't notice the lake monster as he listened in on the other conversations that sounded numb to his ears from the students roaming the grounds. He looked behind him at Hagrid's Hut and noticed Hagrid watering his garden and he heard Fang run around barking. "I haven't been to Hagrid's hut in a while." Cameron said as he turned back around, smiling at his partner. "I do wonder if he has journey'd anywhere." His thoughts roamed about the worlds beyond Hogwarts and other magical creatures that lived around the world. He wondered if any new magical creatures would be brought to Hogwarts of if they were journey here on their own either by land, air, or sea. If there was a sea? 

Sanmiitai smiled at the boy who sat down. "Hello," she said with a smile on her face. "I hope we can be friends!" He looks like a nice person, She thinks. She looks around "Today's a pretty day, isn't it?" She says to the boy.  "I'm Sanmiitai, what's your name?" Sanmiitai looks at the ferret again. "You are a pretty boy, yes you are," She coos quietly. Sanmiitai looks at the ground and sees a frog. She picks it up, "Hi little guy, I saw one of your friends earlier. He was a dark green, but you are a lime green. And you have very large eyes." She puts down the frog and it sits there. "Are you my new friend?" She says while she stifles a laugh. She picks the frog up and puts him on the moist leaf of a tree. "There you go, hop away little guy." She smiles and sits back down. I shall name him Wiggles. She says to herself. She looks back at the small group of people around her and smiles. "I hope that we can all be friends." She looks at where she put Wiggles, and he stares back at her with huge eyes. Sanmiitai giggles, "cutie."

Eri had decided to take a walk by the great lake and saw the group of people near it. She was not that far from them and if she decided to turn and leave they would see that so she just walked up to them. Seeing the ferret and it's wound she muttered "Tergeo." To clear up the dry blood. Then muttered, "Vulnera Sanentur." To heal the deep gash. She smiled hoping she was the only one who heard or saw her heal it. She didn't want to come off as proud or arrogant knowing those spells. They were just necessary spells her aunt had taught her before she left to go to Hogwarts.

"Hi, room for one more?" She joked. She then sat down among the crowd of Hufflepuffs, Slytherins, and Gryffindor. She hoped they didn't mind her being there. She looked around and let the others converse as she enjoyed the beautiful day outside next to the great lake. It was a relief to be outside after all of her classes were done and to be away from all of the upperclassmen for awhile as she enjoyed the beauty of the incredible Hogwarts. 

From where she was sitting Hogwarts was an amazing view. The castle looked so serine just sitting there.
