After he successfully splashed Elisa with their failed Dizziness Draught, Kaito put all his focus into casting the Levitation Charm. Thankfully, he didn’t levitate himself after he failed to hit the red caps with bubbles. He saw the apples start to move upwards just barely, but one of the red caps grabbed on tightly before it could go any higher. He struggled with it for a moment before giving up, knowing he couldn’t beat the red cap’s strength. Pyxis was waiting for the apples but when they never came, Kaito nodded in relief when he saw the Slytherin drop his dose of the Drowsiness Draught into the hole.
One of the red caps jumped out of the hole and whacked Pyxis, but it left the apples behind. Well that was just perfect. Peeking into the hole, Kaito noticed that the other two red caps were out cold. He reached into his pocket while looking at Pyxis, his fingers finding his unused Drowsiness dose. Then he looked at Elisa who was still fending off a red cap of her own. He could help them with his dose. It would prevent them from getting hurt and decrease the number of red caps they were dealing with. No. Time was running out. Those apples needed to be in their hands now. That was the most important thing. He removed his hand from his pocket and aimed at the basket again.

The Red Cap abandoned the apples - yay! - and proceeded to hop out of its hole to swing its club right at Pyxis. Without any time to react, the thing came down hard on his arm. He winced, grabbing at the aching spot and slowly backing away from the angered Red Cap. Suddenly, Kaito was nearby, attempting levitation again. Pyxis looked around for Elisa and spotted her also dealing with an escapee. None the wiser about the hole bubbled by Elisa, Pyxis chose to focus on what was right in front of him. And what was near to him. He’d have to deal with the Red Cap, or sacrifice a limb if Kaito failed in his levitation. But his next moves were all dependent on his Gryffindor friend. He just hoped Elisa was ready to run.Action
If Kaito succeeds in obtaining the apples, Pyxis will cast Take Root on Red Cap 4 and then leave the forest.
If Kaito fails to obtain the apples, Pyxis will cast the Levitation Charm to levitate the apples to himself and then leave the forest.

As she let out a sigh of relief, she couldn't help but think about the time it was - if she remembered correctly they were timed, and the challenge would be over once time was up. Though it would be a relief to finally get out into the open air, away from the naughty red caps, the competitive part of the young girl told her that they would not leave without completing the designated task.
She shook herself, looking around once more to her partners. Kaito had spotted the basket of apples, and though his levitation spell failed, he didn't seem far from getting it, now that the only remaining red cap awake had focused on Pyxis. Wincing while watching it struck her teammate, she was reminded of the red cap rooted besides her, who was attempting to break free. Elisa kept an eye on it all while keeping Kaito in view. Time was running out, they'd have to take those apples - at all cost.⏤⏤⏤⏤⏤⏤⏤⏤⏤⏤⏤⏤⏤⏤
Action: If Kaito or Pyxis succeed on getting the apples, cast Take Root on Red Cap previously targeted by Elisa and leave the forest. If Kaito and Pyxis both fail, levitates apples to self using the Levitation Charm and leave the forest

Tension was running high in the audience, excited mumbling and shouting ringing through the air as those on the stands watched what was happening below. Time was running short - the contestants would have to hurry. Méabh smiled a quick smile at the excitement in the air, then directed her attention back to the students down in the forest.Round: 3
Their game plane was clear: Grab the apples and escape. All three of them seemed ready to get that apple basket, but only one was necessary.
"Kaito has the apples! Now all that is left is getting out of there... but will it be that easy?" Luckily, Kaito wasn't alone, but had two team mates to support his escape.Kaito casts Wingardium Leviosa.

"They seem very fond of this spell, don't they?" she asked no one in particular. Less lucky for the students, those two Red Caps weren't the only ones around.Elisa casts Take Root at Red Cap 3.
