Interacting with @Emily Shephard Date - xx/10/24 WC 208/200 Color Legend - Mylo | Thoughts Mylo truly had been making as much noise as humanly possible in this championship, while their teammate had managed to sneak through silently. And this spell they had fired off was just another sign of the fact that they needed to practice even more than they already did.
At least the spell hadn't woken up any of the other sleeping redcaps which was a big relief as Mylo wasn't quite sure what they would have done if it had gone even more wrong and they had been woken up. The one injury they had gotten hurt and he didn't really fancy another one, but if push came to shove they could definitely (hopefully) take another hit.
Their teammate did seem to have more luck as she managed to sneak into the clearing and grab the basket of apples they had been after, and Mylo knew this was the best time to retreat now. Hoping that nothing else would stop them from exiting the forest with their prize Mylo signalled to Emily that they should leave, hoping that she got the message, and turned around to head back to the exit, wondering if others had done better (or maybe worse) and what the higher years had had to face.

Huzzah! The merchandise was secure! All without any complications as well. Talk about a smooth sweep of espionage! An excited grin graced Emily's expression as she picked up the basket of apples. Step one of her and Mylo's master plan was a success.
Now for the easy bit. Sneaking back again. Emily surveyed the ground behind her where she had just snuck past the snoozing Red Caps. They really were passed out cold that even Mylo's back-up distraction didn't phase them at all. That sounded like the perfect time to sneak past them while they were still out with the basket of apples in her possession.
"Time to make a slippery break for it...!" she whispered across to Mylo.
It looked like Mylo was already on the ball with that plan. Following their signal, Emily began to make her way back across the field behind Mylo, with the same soft and gentle footsteps she used earlier. She held the basket of apples close to her chest, gripping it tight as she hurried into a silent speed walk behind Mylo.
She gave Mylo a hopeful smile. They had this in the bag for sure. At the very least, they would have completed the task with minimal trouble. Who knows how everyone else was faring with their tasks. For all Emily knew, others would have gone through much worse to steal a basket of apples from some nasty Red Caps.
She kept her quiet pace up. "Come on... Almost there...!"

Tension was running high in the audience, excited mumbling and shouting ringing through the air as those on the stands watched what was happening below. Time was running short - the contestants would have to hurry. Méabh smiled a quick smile at the excitement in the air, then directed her attention back to the students down in the forest.Round: 3
With Emily having successfully gotten hold of the apples and the Red Caps asleep, there was not much left to do but get out - and that they did, retreating quickly and quietly.
"Aaaaand their out!" Méabh commented cheerfully as applause and cheers erupted all around her when Emily and Mylo made it through the gate and out of the forest. "Very elegant, I'm impressed. Well done, you two, and congratulations!"Do the Red Caps wake up? (10%, 19-20)
