Perhaps the most pressing issue of the modern age was that younger children did not get enough early exposure to the wonder that was Quidditch, and by Merlin, Koko was going to make sure this changed. She had run a few games of Quidditch outside the school-wide matches, and now, she thought it ought to be a decent idea to try something new and exciting.

She hung some posters along the walls of the castle advertising a 'Great Bludger Bash' — a rather uncreative name, but hopefully the photograph of a beater swinging their bat at a bludger would cause some sort of intrigue. The children at this school practically lived for violence, and although Koko often prided herself on her elegance and disdain for getting her hands dirty, she had decided that she could give them what they wanted.

The 22^nd came quickly. The location for this bloodbath friendly altercation would be the Quidditch Training Pitch because it was the spot best equipped for such a game. Koko took a bucket with a lot of beaters' bats resting in it and hefted it towards the centre of the pitch, already grimacing in sympathy for those who entered late. She took one for herself just in case she would have to fend off a stray bludger.

As children began to trickle in, Koko would smile and wave. More than that, though, she would partake in some shameless advertising. 'Have you thought about joining your house's Quidditch team?' she would ask some kids who entered. Others would be subjected to, 'If you enjoy this, you really ought to sign up for Quidditch.'

Those who were already on a Quidditch team or its waitlist would receive a perhaps more genuine smile and even a thumbs-up, unless it happened to be Oonagh Brown, who would receive a rather disdainful expression from the Slytherin Keeper.

'As you come in, grab a bat — you're going to want it.' Koko could hardly keep her voice steady. 'This is a free-for-all. That bat will be used to defend yourself, or to hit a bludger at others. If you do well here, you might as well mention it to your house's Quidditch captain; you might be well on the way to getting a position as a beater.' Koko slowly backed towards the stands, still smiling. 'I'll be here to heal those who get knocked out and supervise the rest.'

Bludger: you are sending a bludger at someone. This uses the same mechanics as the Quidditch system.

Backbeat: you are sending a bludger at someone via a backbeat. This uses the same mechanics as the Quidditch system.

Dopplebeater Defence: you are pairing up with someone to bludger someone else and will average your strength and combine your accuracy. This uses the same mechanics as the Quidditch system. Both players using this action must agree to it and post in time for the action to count.

Defend: Attempt to hit the bludger out of the way of someone. Follows Quidditch mechanics.

Actively dodge: Forego offence in favour of defence. Follows the same mechanics as duelling.

Body-block: Attempt to shield someone with your body. Follows the same mechanics as duelling.
