Kim nodded when Keith told him he looked a lot different now. "Mm. I feel different, so it only makes sense my appearance should reflect this." He murmured to him and glanced over Keith for a few seconds. "You seem a little off to me. Is anything wrong?" Kim asked softly so none of the other boys could hear him. Just in case Keith didn't want them to overhear the words. Clark gave him a strange smile but Kim didn't react much to the expression. It wasn't as if the other boy was going to try and do anything to him at the moment, so why bother feed his addiction? But if he did try and act on his dangerous desires, Kim would be ready for him. The duelist's wand was within easy reach of his fingers, hidden within the sleeves of his uniform and concealed by the cloak. Linda appeared soon after, giving her birthday greetings to Keith. The look on her face seemed like confusion which Kim could understand because he was feeling a little off too. Colin had said they should hold a surprise party for Keith. But were they just doing it here? "Yo." Kim said, holding up his hand in the air to wave at Linda. He nodded at Jay who had given him a look, a greeting look.... But both of them opted to remain silent for now, which Kim appreciated. Kim glanced over at Colin again, wondering what his plan for the surprise party was. Keith definitely was not expecting anything further than this. So this would be the right time to make a move. But they could only wait for Colin to start this surprise party as it had been his idea. What was he waiting for? Or had he been waiting for this exact moment to come? Hopefully, no one else came, because it was starting to get crowded and Kim didn't feel too comfortable amongst crowds.

Colin was his usual cheerful self and Kim was content to remain relatively quiet, something he'd always been comfortable doing on a regular basis, as he watched everyone. Colin could already tell his gift was a type of chocolate cake but that came as no surprise considering he was a werewolf with heightened senses. The wolf had even brought some drinks with him! Kim's lips twitched into what could have almost been a smile. Colin was really energetic, even after all of these years. As Keith mumbled something about it being a rough year for him, Kim nodded. "Mm. I get that." He told him and reached out to massage his shoulder lightly for a brief second. This was unusual for him as Kim tended to avoid physical contact. But the duelist knew what it was like going through rough times. He glanced down at Keith as the boy adjusted himself to hide his neck from view. Kim saw what almost looked like a scar but it was covered quickly by the material of Keith's coat. But he didn't say anything about it as it wasn't really his business. "Mm. Colin said he was holding a surprise birthday party for you, so I came." Kim told him as Kibō gazed down at Keith from atop Kim's shoulder, his gem-like eyes peering down at him a little curiously. "Ah, that's Kibō. He's my friend." Kim told Keith. As Keith opened the present Colin had tossed onto his lap, Kim watched as the boy sighed and wondered if he wanted to get out of there. "You tired?" Kim asked him, trying to think of a way to help Keith out....
