Lilias was out walking by the Great Lake. It was such a beautiful place to be. She could relax and just stare out at the calm waters. It was a warmish day and she had forgone her school uniform in favor for a long red t-shirt that had belonged to her father and a pair of jeans that were a bit loose around her waist. Clothes for herself had always been difficult to find so she just stopped trying to find the right size and just get what looked good on her and fit relatively well.
Checking to make sure no one was around, she slipped out of her jeans and into some shorts. She took off her shoes and walked over to the water's edge. She crouched down and stuck her hand to see how cold it was. It was enough  to keep her cool. She smiled and tied her scraggly mess of orange curls on top of her head and stepped back. She went back until her back pressed into a tree. She smiled and laughed happily before launching forward. Only a few inches from the edge she jumped up and into the air. She quickly felt the cold water surround her and she pushed up to the surface of the water.
She smiled and swam around a little in the relaxing water.

Lisabetta had smiled upon seeing the note from her favorite roommate asking her to join her at the great lake. She had been going hard with her studies that she hadn't really had much time to catch up with her new found friend. It was a strangely warm day out so Lisabetta decided to wear some white shorts and a blue top that matched her eyes. She had a simple white bathing suit underneath her clothes, in case the water was nice enough to get into. Grabbing some sandals and a towel she headed down to the lake.

Once she got there she saw that Lilias had already jumped in and was enjoying the water on this nice warm day. Lisabetta removed her sandals and put her towel down next to the other Gryffindors' clothing. She smiled watching the other relaxing in the water, she seemed very at ease which was something that Lisabetta didn't normally see in her. Lilias always seemed to be nervous or worried about what others would think of her, and it was what Lisabetta had been drawn to about the girl to begin with. They both shared that quality of being a bit more reserved quite and others, but had opened up to eachother.

"How is the water?" She called out to her friend out swimming.

Lilias heard Lisabetta ask how the water was. She stuck her thumb up in the air as she floated on her back. Her large red shirt puffed up around her as she drifted around the water. It was nice to just float around like there was nothing wrong. Like she didn't have a pile of homework shoved into the corner of her desk that she had ignored for the past two hours. She could relax and let that all float down the river.
She flipped onto her stomach and swam over to the shallower waters. She stood up where the water reached her waist. She held up her arms as water poured from the soaked cloth. Her hair was all messed up in her soaked messy bun. She looked like a thoroughly soaked cat. She looked down at herself and laughed. It was giggly and made her seem younger than eleven.
A cold wind came by and she squeaked before dunking her drenched body back into the warm waters. She crouched down until just her nose and eyes remained above the water. She watched Lisabetta, waiting to see what her new friend would do. She hoped she'd get in the water with her. It was such a nice day. Except that blasted wind!!

Lilias had a way to make Lisabetta smiled. The fellow Gryffindor that had, quickly, become a good friend to Lisabetta rarely spoke, but that was okay with her. Lisabetta wasn't the best with overly talkative people, never having been someone who took part in small talk, so having a friend who was pretty quiet was just find with her. Seeing her new friend so at ease, giggling in that sweet way that she did, made Lisabetta's heart feel happy. Getting confirmation that the water was nice, Lisabetta stripped down to her simple one piece bathing suit. She didn't have long enough hair to put up like Lilias did, so she just left it down. She had been trying to let her hair grow out, but it just didn't seem like it wanted to, she wondered if there was a spell that would help it along.

Lisabetta joined her  friend in the water, wanting nothing more than to jump in a full cannonball, but was way to embarrassed to even try, it wasn't very ladylike to do so. Her new friend was right, the water did feel great, and she quickly swam over to Lilias.

"This was a great idea, thank you for thinking of it!"

Lisabetta hadn't realized just how much she needed a day like this to just relax and not think about classes or homework.

Lilias smiled once her friend had gotten in the water. Lisabetta had prepared more for the water than she did, bringing an actual bathing suit instead of regular clothes. In Lili's mind they worked really well, but to other people it might look really weird. She didn't care and instead swam under the water to look at the fish. They were dulled by the water, but she knew they were such bright colors when seen in clearer waters.
There were a couple schools of fish. Some were big and fat fish and some were tiny little baby fish. They reminded her of herself, tiny and awkward. It did have it's advantages being so small, but other times it just got on her nerves. Mostly when things were out of her reach because she hadn't perfected her Accio spell. A lot of stuff hit her in the head.
Coming back to reality, she remembered the fish she was watching. She smiled and blew bubbles near them and they quickly fled. They were such scaredy-cats. Scaredy-fish?
When she resurfaced she spit out water in the first direction she faced. Her eyes were closed and she hoped she hadn't just sprayed Lisabetta with water. In all honesty. . .that was gross. She stuck out her tongue goofily and smiled.
