Rusty was really enjoying his time in the Regulus Black Dorm. He had always been raised to follow the rules and never play around. Whenever he was around his parents, they made sure he kept his head high, be polite to all elders, and follow all the rules. And here he was, surrounded by peers, breaking all the rules in the book.

The students were up after hours, talking about inappropriate topics, eating to much sugar, and drinking. Rusty's parents wouldn't approve. But they weren't here were they? Rusty thinks it's time to finally let loose and enjoy rule breaking a little bit.

Rusty listened intently to Saunders babble on about muggle poo shams poo, and just poo in general. He rolled his eyes and smiled at the drunken boy. Rusty thought silently to himself about what Mary Anne would think of this. She would be scared for sure, hanging around all these teens. But this isn't about Mary Anne, this was about Rusty. And Rusty wanted to make some bad decisions.

"Saunders, can I have a swig?" Rusty yelled loudly at the boy next to him, to make sure he could here him. Rusty wasn't planning on drinking a lot, just a bit. He knew he shouldn't, but his curiosity was taking over. Sitting around his fellow Slytherins made him feel a new kind of rebellion.
Actions: Rusty asks @Saunders Napier for a taste of his drink.

It was with no small amount of self loathing that Draven slipped the bottle underneath his coat. He'd need to thank Campbell when he got a chance. Thank him, and then curse himself out for being the weakest bastard on that side of the castle.

Around them, the boys had begun to sing drinking songs and ramble, their brains going up in flames much quicker than he would have expected. It was almost instantaneous. He peered suspiciously at the cider. There was no way something THAT weak would have caused that kind of a reaction. He supposed it was 90% placebo effect, 5% booze, and 5% wanting to fit in that had them acting like monkeys.

Before he could overthink it, Draven forced his feet to move in the direction of the Merlin dorm. He wasn't saving anyone tonight, and he was most certainly not saving himself, judging by the cider underneath his sweater.

"I wasn't trying to offend you," he told Kei, as they made towards the exit. "You were gone for...a while. And I got-" worried. "...bored."

Chewing on the inside of his cheek, Draven let go of Kei. It was him that needed herding out of Prat's makeshift party, not Kei.

"Saunders, can I have a swig?"

The Napier boy's head turned to the other snake calling to him. "Ssshhh!" he said, desperately trying to silence him. "Be quiet! Do you want to be surrounded by muggle poo lovers?" Then he looekd at the boy's face. He slightly resembled some of the neighbour kids he knew from London... But he wasn't one of the students he had met before.

The heir of the Napiers was confused, though. How does he know my name? Endless possibilities raced through his mind. Or else... Oh, no! Was this boy a professor under the effect of Polyjuice Potion? Solomon Lear, for example... Merlin, even the mere pronunciation of the name (and not verbally, just mentally!) was enough to intimidate Saunders, as if a whirlwind of a biblical disaster was appointed to follow the shadow of the letters resided in the Headmaster's name. Or... Was this the same Sham they'd been talking about all along, and had he come to drop off his famous poo? Or... Geez, the possibilities were getting scarier. (Of course, the perfectly plausible option that the other boy might have heard Saunders' name in one of their common classes was too banal to consider.)

"Firstly, I've had enough to drink and I handed the flask to Prat - you should take your chance elsewhere mate..." Saunders said, then took a few steps back and asked, "And how do you know my name? I'm not famous." Narrowing his eyes, "Yeah, I figured it out but don't worry, I won't tell anyone you're Professor Lear, sir," he added. "And I was lying when I said I'd been drinking, sir. There's nothing to drink here. I know, I know... A totally boring event. Disappointing." He grimaced disapprovingly, "I'm sure you had much better parties in your day. But that's how the new generation is, sir. No booze and of course, nothing to smoke. Meh!"

The scent of grapes accompanied Claire through the Slytherin Common Room. Fresh from the bath, her hair was still wet and wrapped in a towel, her grape-scented shampoo comforting and pungent as it seemed to radiate from her hair along with the lingering warmth from the scalding hot water.

Her wand was stuck into her wet hair like a pin into a pincushion, since her attire was unfortunately pocket-less. Her pajamas, dark green pants and a button up shirt with little ducks on them, were soft against her skin, and she was ready for a Saturday night of relaxation. She had one of her books from back home waiting in her dormitory, and she was ready to just read until her eyes were crossed.

Fate had different plans.

The sound of chatter and giggling coming from dorms - regardless of gender assignments - was not uncommon in the slightest, but the voices coming from the boys' dormitories were decidedly multi-gendered, if Claire's ears didn't deceive her. She knew she should have just gone to bed, picked up her book, lit her enchanted candle, and relaxed, but curiosity was burning in the pit of her stomach, and she found her bare feet on the cold stone floor guiding her toward the boys' dorms.

Keeping an eye out for prefects, teachers, or anyone that could punish her, Claire's footsteps were slow and careful as she crept toward the dorm. She finally saw the door, which was covered in the remnants of something - super glue, maybe? She found a non-sticky part of the door and pushed it open, taking in the variety of people.

Colin was there. A familiar face, but, by God, what was he wearing? Or rather, not wearing? She tried her absolute best not to stare at him.

A few other boys, and two girls, that she knew, if only by name, were also in there, snacking and... drinking? Was that alcohol she smelled, or was she just smelling things?

"Sorry," Claire said, eyes wide as she looked around the room. There was a small blush on her cheeks and a strong desire to turn around and run back to the girls' dorms, if only to let her hair dry properly and change into something more appropriate than her pajamas. "Didn't mean to intrude."

She spoke slowly, as if trying to figure out what was going on, with the strange gathering of people, the bottle, and the flustered looks on some of the boys' faces. She'd clearly walked in on something she wasn't meant to walk in on.

After having been alerted to the shenanigans happening within the boys dormitory, she made up her mind and decided it was time repay the boys for crashing the Malfoy dorm’s own meeting.

Grand entrance. It didn’t take long to rack her brain and ruffle through her trunk to find Wizarding products that would allow her a grand entrance. From Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley, her range of magical items covered most situations.

She had no idea the amount of people contained within the boys dorms, but the closer she got the more chatter she heard. She tugged wizard crackers out from her jean pocket. She wasn’t quite sure how much smoke would be produced, but she knew some would be. For that reason she had 3 of the crackers in her pocket, hopefully enough to create a cover for her to enter. More hopefully, she would only need one:

Her pace was quick to make sure no one passed her in the time it took her to enter the room, and she took no time cracking the object, which released enough smoke to cover her entrance.

She emerged from the cloak of smoke and grinned, waving to the room and its inhabitants. "You didn’t think you could have a party without me, did you?"

She headed over to where she had spotted @Colin McCoire and took a seat nearby. She noticed a number of students seemed to be intoxicated, although she wasn’t sure what that was from.

"Get a few more girls in here and we could play spin the bottle. What were you up to without me?" She announced, sort of rambling the meaningless words.

Her grin only grew, a clever mask crafted to hide the shyness she hid within. And more than anything, she wanted to observe the strangeness that was the Slytherin boys.
Summary: crashing the party with a grand entrance of blue smoke
Action: Snapping the Wizard Cracker to enter, will snatch a drink whenever given the chance :)

There was a rather endearing quality about the young master Athanatos that Matthew found admirable in this state of frivolity they were experiencing. When all the bias and prejudice was removed he could see that they were really quite similar both just enjoying the simple pleasures of life and although he dressed with a stick up his ass Aamon was really rather fun. His giggling filtered through the air like a sweet lullaby a sense of freedom born on the wings he now sprouted.

Smiling wildly as the boy continued he curled into himself clutching at his ribs succumbing to the will of laughter as he replied barely able to breath, "I think I misjudged you too lets be friends and go on adventures!"- There was such childlike innocence in the moment and he couldn't resist his arms as they through themself around Aamon's head into a hug. "I never want to kill anyone again." The words slipping out dangerous and corrupting threatening to steal his euphoria away, now was not the time for such thoughts and yet hadn't it been. Wasn't he meant to be doing something? Matthew found his gaze drifting to the ring on his finger confusion aching at his mind.

Like an angel from above it was young Athanatos who would provide the relief once more releasing a howling laugh with the idea of doing something interesting. Matthew's eyes a blae of anticipation he near choked to death when muggle poo was once again brought into this conversation, ribs aching he asked, "What is with this muggle poo, I don't understand!" There was nothing but pure delight in his voice despite the confusion. Not seconds later Colin had joined in and finally put the puzzle pieces into their place by calling the product by its proper name, "Shampoo!" He exclaimed to the world bursting into another fit of laughter as he watched aamon gasp, "Why didn't you say so I have some in my drawer, there's conditioner, moose, shampoo, shower gel, you can even go crazy and get all 3 in one but Sean, that's my step dad says that it would destroy my curls so I'm not allowed!" Striding off to his nightstand as he went on his tangent he pulled out a white bottle labelled 'Bevel' and held it up in the air like it was Simba, a reference these boys didn't have a hope of understanding.

His face a picture of pure elation he walked back towards the group when he was stopped dead in his tracks by a visage of a stone faced girl eerily watching everyone not saying a word. The serious looking creature seemed to be sizing all of them up but he found himself distracted as flashes of emotion begun spiralling through his mind the elation wavering, while his head began to spin fragments of the destroyed remnants of his mother came back to him in hallucinatory imagery. Rage boiling deep inside but unable to surface given the effects of the cider. The boy tried his best to shake it off but everything became a little clearer once more in his quest for answers, perhaps not being so angry would help. The euphoria had made lucid thoughts murky but they had helped him control his emotions at least that's what he thought as he walked back to Aamon with unknowing teras streaking down his face.

On his way back Saunders ran up and grabbed him fervently rambling on about the muggle poo once more, how deep did this conspiracy run. It was something that would have to be analysed in detail at a later date. Really psychologists could run amuck in this school and win nobel prizes for the results. Before he even had a chance to explain the boy was off again like a whippet dashing towards the crowd with feet so fast he was surprised they hadn't yet caught fire. Fire? What was that smell, suddenly the room smelt like a bonfire had been released and Matt turned to the door to see a cloud of smoke engulfing it. Oh no had someone set a fire?! Things seemed to be getting wildly out of hand, but he had the illustrious shampoo so really what did he care.

As it turned out the smoke was not in fact fire but the dramatic entrance of an older Slytherin girl he had seen about the halls but never spoken with. It seemed that she and another younger girl were both rambling on to Colin. Say what you want about him and trust me Matthew had said plenty, his advice had him surrounded by two girls and another throwing shade across the room so perhaps he was more qualified than he thought. Watery eyed and dazed from the multitude of chaos he was about to sit back down with Aamon when he remembered Saunders wish. Taking out his wand he incanted "Nix Facitur" and watched as beautiful snowflakes began to dot themselves on the skin of those around him a lovely chill touch to the heat of the cider burning in their stomachs. Aiming it once more he focused it on Saunders sending him a wink as it fell.

Smirking down towards Aamon he was struck with a golden idea, having heard the rather embarrassing attempt at an introduction he tried earlier Matthew thought he'd give some actual sage advice given he wasn't going to get any from Colin. "Aamon! If you want to make a good impression with the girls you should offer them some cider, come on lets go! Then we can go make bubbles with the shampoo."

MODERATION NOTES
The night was unfolding excellently if chaos was to be the theme. Smoke now filling a portion of the entrance way giving a mysterious grandiose entrance to anyone that walked in while the children gathered in the area choked on it and moved. The suggestion of its creator @Ava Winchect to play spin the bottle was sure to throw more mischief into the mix and cause a fair amount of drama. While she seemed all innocence and fun was there a more devious reason she had come tonight, only time would tell.

@Aamon Athanatos would be utterly overhwlemed with the exictement and possibility of the small bottle in Matthew's hands. Real true muggle poo, but which flavour would it be and why did they package it in such a refined bottle. Poo was meant for the toilet no not for such elegance? And what on earth did Matthew mean by three-in-one was it three different people pooing or three different poo's. Could animal poo be used, there were so many questions, so many things he was naive too in the world but his father's voice cut through it all reprimanding him and telling him to "Watch his behaviour, do not disgrace the house of Athanatos." the voice seemingly coming from thin hair bodiless yet commanding. Overwhelmed by questions Aamon begins to lightly hallucinate.

The keen observer continued to watch and listen into the events unfolding around her noticing the fight towards the door and the strange bond forming between the young Athanatos and the untamed curly haired one. She had decided that given she was one of the few that still had her inhibitions she may as well put them to good use, after all while she didn't create the event she was here and curiously was having something akin to fun. If the dorm went up in fire there was sure to be trouble but would she make it in time before the Regulus Dorm perished. Nabi noticed Kith getting set alight and is still focused on the potential arsonists.

Snow now trickling gently over a fair portion of the room @Saunders Napier would find himself lightly doused in the cooling substance that settled on his skin reminding him of the first time he met Matt and the lovely conversations they had. The euphoria turning into a kind of nostalgic reminiscing. Before he was whipped into a frenzy by the suspicious student to his left. Sure that they were under some kind of disguise he tried to think of what he could do, should he warn someone, perhaps @Prat Pass. He seemed the most level headed of the three conspirators operating the event and anyways it was the furthest point from the muggle poo debacle. Suddenly it dawned on him fear worming its way into his mind, if one teacher was here why not more, why not prefects. Other than Cass they had all been suspiciously absent from attendance. Saunders euphoria moved from nostalgia to paranoia as he feels the need to warn Prat that there's a spy among them.

@Rusty Singer had decide to become brazen, completely ignoring the snack table which had now been completely ransacked by @Keiran Kith an action that was getting him death stared by many in attendance. Rusty had opted instead to try and attempt to gain some alcohol but his attempt had been met with strange paranoia and suspicion as the first year snake before him accused him of being Solomon Lear. Utterly confused he couldn't help but laugh, what on earth was going on. Whatever it was he wanted in so if he had to join the boy to find Prat and gain some alcohol of his own then so be it.

It was no secret that @Kith Keiran had only attended the event for one reason, ransacking the food. While he had been successful in collecting the items he was not stealthy about it, perhaps if he had only taken a couple of items but no his greed knew no bounds. As @Draven Mirador grabbed him apologising for causing offence despite his lack of attempt to do so he picked up the cider and upon bringing the bottle for closer inspection found there to be little bits floating at the bottom, like small shrivelled seeds. It hardly mattered, this was not Draven's issue and seeds were hardly cause for alarm perhaps they were fire seeds meant to liven up the spice. Moving towards the exit both stopped in their tracks as Draven let Kei go and the second he was free of him he began to smell fire. Having gone to the exit they were well close enough to be smelling smoke but not fire, in fact it smelled like burning fabric. It didn't take long for the flames to burst forth and Kith's blouse began to catch fire, a boy from Draven's year staring the pair down, Did you really think you could just loot the place and leave?" In their lack of stealth an older dnpc has cast the clothing ignition spell on Kith for stealing all the candy.

As @Claire Lewis entered the fray she was witness to the many calamities of the party. Drinks, strange muggle inaccuracies, fellow firsties going crazy and a fight brewing near the smoky doorway. Not to mention the fact that bar really one other brunette with curly hair (Matthew) the majority of the riot were all extremely formally dressed sticking them out in their pyjamas. A little way away Cass and Astra still stood by the windowsill the former with Gentleman Only still stuck to his arm. With the smell of cider filling the room wafting wherever she went she was glad to take comfort in her freshly grape clean hair. Feeling overdressed and very confused she was free to do whatever she wanted.

"I'm a fool for even asking you"

Prat's gaze shifted to Elisa, his eyes a little glazed from the cider, but the disappointment was clearly etched on his face from her past behaviour. He sighed heavily, the weight of his own words pressing down on his chest.

"I'm a fool for having expectations from you Elisa," he murmured, as he watched Elisa walked away before he too left the area to join back in with colin and others.

Soon he stumbled over to where Colin was standing, the world around him was now a delightful swirl of laughter and music, thanks to the potent apple cider that had been flowing freely all night.

The words "sham poo" and "snogging" were hilarious, exactly the kind of hilarity that'd pull him closer with each slurred syllable.

His curiosity piqued, he shouted over the din, "What's this sham poo you're on about, mate?" His eyes gleamed with mischief and cheeks flushed a rosy hue that had nothing to do with the season.

With the flask of apple cider now firmly in his grasp as Saunders returned it filled back up, Prat threw back his head and took a deep, satisfying gulp, feeling the warmth spread from his chest to the tips of his fingers. His eyes sparkled with a renewed sense of overconfidence in his self as he wiped the froth from his lips. "Who's showering with muggle sham poo? i wanna join in " he bellowed into the night, his voice carrying over the merry din of the festival.

" BUT The night's just begun and snogging comes first!"

His thoughts matched colin's with the delightful buzz of the cider. He was living in the moment, and the prospect of a good snog seemed to be the most important thing in the world to him right now, he had no idea what snog truly was, and if he did, he'd forgotten by now.

Inside his head, Prat's thoughts tumbled like a barrel down a hill. What could Colin's friend Claire have that was so special? It had to be something magical ofcourse, not in it's form but in it's nature. Colin did say it was poo. Something that weird could only exist in the muggle world only. The name itself sounded like a joke, or worse; And snogging? Well, that was always welcome.

He hadn't had a decent snog in ages (he has never). He grabbed Colin's arm, eager to be part of the fun. "Count me in for some of that sham poo!" he exclaimed, grinning broadly, "And don't forget the snogging!"

Prat's steps grew more deliberate as he approached the duo of Aamon and Matt, the cider in his flask a nearly gone as it whispered sweet nothings of courage into his ear all the time before. His thoughts pirouetted with the excitement of potential muggle adventures, a world of wonder and mystery that he had only ever dreamed of. The cider had emboldened him so far and he was not looking to slow down. Before he could reach them however....

His ears perked up as he heard his name being called out over the din of the festival. He turned to face the voice, his eyes squinting to focus through the cider-induced haze, someone had asked about his flask.

A fierce sense of possessiveness surged through him, and he tightened his grip on the flask. "Who said anything about sharing?" he retorted, a cocky demeanor on his face. "I've got the last of this golden elixir right here, and you're not taking it from me !!" He raised the flask high in a toast to himself, the remaining liquid sloshing around like a tiny sea in a bottle.

His confidence, bolstered by the alcohol, swelled in his chest. "MINE!!" he exclaimed, a declaration that echoed in his own head louder than the words around him.

Within a few moments smoke began appearing, this sudden appearance of the mysterious smoke screen had momentarily distracted him from his fierce guardianship over the apple cider.

But now, as Ava began talking after emerging from the billowing clouds with a cheeky grin, his focus sharpened atleast as much as it could. "Spin the bottle, you say?" He echoed her words, his mind racing to recall the rules of the game. he'd never played it. Did they throw spinning bottles at each other?,

"Ah, yes! The great game of spinning bottles ! Bring it on!" Prat's hand tightened around the flask as he took another swig, more than willing to join whatever this god forsaken game was.

He stumbled over to Ava, his legs feeling like they were made of jelly thanks to the potent apple cider. Swaying slightly, his eyes locked onto her with a drunken confidence, which would seem as endearing as it was alarming.

The memory of their previous encounter at the Slytherin rager flitted through his mind, a hazy recollection at best. "Ava (imagine pepeopenmouth here) !! ," he slurred, his voice thick with the warmth of the cider, "You've got to try some of this!" He shoved the flask into her hand with the enthusiasm of a child eager to share a secret. "Chug! Chug! Chug!" he chanted.

"Then we can go make bubbles with the shampoo."

"Matt," Prat slurred, his voice a mix of glee and euphoria, as he walked back towards him "do you have this sham poo everyone's going on about? i wanna see, can you eat??" His eyes searched Matt's, The alcohol had unlocked the part of him that craved excitement, that said he needed to let lose after all his days stuffed in his very tough schedule.

"I promise I won't throw it at gryffs. I've just got to know what's so special about this muggle poo thing" Prat's heart thudded in his chest, each beat echoing the words he hadn't quite dared to say out loud.

His's nose twitched as he smelled faint scent of burning fabric wafting through the air, but he dismissed it, attributing the smell to house mate's overzealous use of candles or perhaps some avant-garde incense. The cider had painted his thoughts with a rosy glow, and he was too wrapped up in this debacle for snogging and muggle sham poo to care about the mundane.

Aamon’s eyes were locked on the bottle of Muggle poo, his mind struggling to process the sheer grandeur of it all. It was so much fancier than expected. He had assumed it would be some rough, rustic thing, like something he would find in the potions store room. But no—this was elegant. Refined.

And yet, deep in his tipsy, swirling thoughts, something felt off.

He could still hear his father’s voice. Not a memory, not an echo, but clear as day, as if he were standing right beside him.

"Watch your behavior, Aamon. Do not disgrace the house of Athanatos."

Aamon froze for a moment, a shiver creeping up his spine despite the warmth in his chest.

He knew this wasn’t real. It couldn’t be.

And yet…

His gaze darted around the room, scanning faces—Matt’s flushed with laughter, Colin shouting something absurd, Prat drunkenly stumbling into the scene wanting to take his shampoo, a girl watching everything with eerie detachment.

Nothing about this felt right.

For a second—just a split second—Aamon swore he saw a shadow where there shouldn’t be one, dark and looming at the corner of his vision, shifting as if watching him.

His breath hitched, but then—

“Aamon! If you want to make a good impression with the girls you should offer them some cider, come on, let’s go! Then we can go make bubbles with the shampoo!”

Matt’s voice yanked him back.

Aamon blinked rapidly, the hallucination vanishing as quickly as it came, replaced by Matt’s grin and the absurdity of his words.

Right.

The shampoo.

He inhaled deeply, blinking away the last of the unease, and instead focused on Matt, the warmth of the cider settling him back into euphoria. His expression softened into something uncharacteristically open as he grinned, leaning a little closer.

“I don’t wanna kill anyone either,” Aamon admitted suddenly, his voice almost sheepish. “Ever. I—” He shook his head, as if trying to shake loose the lingering darkness clinging to the edges of his mind. “I don’t think I ever did, but if I did, I wouldn’t want to again.” He also did not want to kill them anymore.

“Is this the best Slytherin has to offer? A pack of restless children mistaking volume for power? You are mistaken. Power does not shout—it whispers, and the world obeys.” Something flitted in the corner of his eye, he was not sure what.

His, Aamon's father's voice that was, would be measured, the weight of his words settling over him like a suffocating pressure. The rowdiness would die down—not because he demanded it, but because true authority does not need to demand. It simply is. But nobody else seemed to hear his father's voice.

"Father?" Aamon looked around, confused.

And then—Matthew, grinning down at him, snapped him back with an idea so brilliant, so perfect, that all thoughts of voices, hallucinations, and Muggle waste collection vanished in an instant.

"Aamon! If you want to make a good impression with the girls, you should offer them some cider. Come on, let’s go! Then we can make bubbles with the shampoo!"

Aamon beamed.

Yes. YES. That was genius.

Forget the voices, forget the weird moment of existential dread—this was the night of adventure. He could impress people. He could give them cider, like some sort of host—no, a gentleman. He’d seen his father do it at galas, offering fine wine with a slight, practiced tilt of his wrist. He could do that.

It would be so refined.

His legs wobbled as he stood, but that didn’t matter. He was graceful, he was charming, he was—

He caught sight of the shampoo bottle again.

…Okay, but seriously.

How did they get the poo in the bottle?

Aamon, still clutching onto the profound mystery of Muggle poo—or shampoo, or whatever it actually was—suddenly remembered his mission.

Matt had given him an important task. A gentlemanly task.

The girls.

The cider.

He had to impress them.

With a newfound sense of purpose, he dramatically swept an arm through the air, nearly toppling himself over before recovering with what he thought was an elegant flourish. He grabbed a cider bottle from the table or wherever one was available and left (I lost track of them I admit), stood up far too fast, and immediately felt the world tilt around him.

Oh.

Gravity was tricky.

He blinked a few times, steadying himself, and then sauntered—or, rather, wobbled—toward the group of girls who had somehow found themselves in the middle of this disaster.

“Ladies!” he called, his voice thick with enthusiasm and the confidence of someone who had absolutely no idea what he was doing.

He stopped in front of them, swaying just slightly, but still grinning like a man who had just discovered the secrets of the universe and wanted to share them all at once.

He held out the cider bottle with the same kind of reverence one might offer a priceless goblet at a royal banquet to Nabi.

“For you,” he said, as if this was some grand and chivalrous gesture, his smile far too pleased with itself.

The room might have still been spinning, and he might have been sweating a little, and he might have been internally screaming over whether or not his father’s disembodied voice was still lurking nearby.

But none of that mattered.

Because he had one job tonight. OK, maybe not one, but he remembered one right this moment.

And by Merlin, he was going to do it.

Eyes drawn as he heard his name mentioned by his captain he turned watching as the boy had meandered and now lay uncharacteristically casual on one of the beds surrounded by Colin's crowd. The cider must have really been getting to his head because for a second he almost thought that the boy himself was glowing surrounded by a gentle amber light. Prat had that kind of unannounced confidence that girls associated with attraction not to mention the fact he was part giant it was obvious that many would find him appealing, for Matthew to notice it was simply an observation. The fact he literally shone in the room didn't mean anything, it was his natural charisma and that was all.

After a second too long of lingering he looked down and the words of the boy connected with his mind, "Oh yeah this is shampoo and no you cannot eat it Prat, well I mean like technically you can but it would make you sick. It's like soap, for your hair and when it mixes with water it makes bubbles and foam, kind of like a potion." Pointing at the girl across the way with her towel still hanging in her hair he smelt the fresh breath of grape alleviating his senses for a moment from the rich cider, "Hers is grape if the cider hasn't destroyed my ability to smell while mines is"- looking down to observe the bottle, "coconut and shea butter!" There was so much excitement in his voice over such a stupidly simple thing but what could he say everything just seemed to make him happy.

Watching as the boy continued his mind drifted back to earlier when he had reassured him after Aamon's comments. Prat and he were in no way close but perhaps he held a bit too much against the guy, as purebloods go he was actually pretty sweet but there was always the nagging sensation in his head about whether or not it was all a charade. Did Prat really care about anyone on the team as long as they won? Who knows but now was certainly not the time for such philosophical topics after all there was foam to be made and fun to be had. Turning back to catch where Aamon had gotten to he watched as the young lad ever so gracefully presented their cider to the young statue girl with a grin that could rival the Cheshire cat. An endearing young man to say the least performing such chivalry it melted Matt's heart.

Laughing as Prat continued scheming about assaulting the Gryffindor's his eyes glinted golden as he took another swig and the golden ichor reflected off of the amber of his ring matching the three in harmony. As he did so he felt the room begin to darken the corner of his vision blurred and he stumbled slightly as he heard a voice gentle as the clouds itself speak "Hi baby" Despite the fact he had no memory of this prior and no way of recognising it he simply knew who it was. The way the light tones of her voice lulled him into calmness called to his soul. "Mum?" Yet as quick as it had come on the presence faded and he was back in the room eyes still lingering around his captain. Heat flushing through him making his already alcohol induced cheeks even redder he simply laughed it off, much too hard to be casual and quickly rambled out, "Sorry think the cider's really getting to me hah" With a breathy sigh he looked down towards his hand and twisted the amber of his ring towards him unsure how to feel.

Everything in his body was rushed with that euphoric sensation but now there seemed like there was something else too, like a part of himself was being unlocked he had never met before. A part he longed to know deeply. As eyes darted from the ring to the bottle he was futile to resist as he took another sip, whatever was happening the answer lied in the cider. It was the only thing that made sense right?

Colin surveyed his Kingdom of Chaos. He smirked. Aamon was drunk, clearly enjoying himself a little world of tipsiness all his own. Saunders was on his way too. Rusty, check. This was looking good! There was nothing in the world quite like a buzzed 11 year old! Even the girls, he noticed, were not above taking a swig of whatever it was in those bottles of cidre! That little part of Colin's brain that took care of olfactory analysis was beginning to spit out its results.

Clearly, the liquid in the flasks was made from apples. Well, mainly apples, the rational mind supplied. But if the stuff were mainly apples, what was the unmainly part? Was the lavender a clue? Or --- wait --- what if the lavender were intended to mask some other ingredient? There was something --- planty.

There was only one way to find out! Colin slipped his wand from its sheath and pointed it at a brilliantly full flask of cidre. "Accio flask!" he said, catching the object deftly in his right hand. Colin smirked. Time to get to the bottom of this mystery!

And then several things happened all at once!

Colin's nose was, quite literally, assaulted by the super sugary smell of grapes! Grapes? Colin turned, and his eyes were similarly assaulted by green pajamas with ducks all over! Rubber ducks? Surely this was a Muggleborn announcing to the entire world that she knew the Mystery of the Rubber Duck! The question that had been plaguing wizardkind ever since the invention of the strange muggle devices way back in the 20th century!

"Woohoo! Another girl! Ayo Claire! Come and join ---!" BANG!! Colin called out, but he was interrupted by a loud bang and a puff of pungent blue smoke. Someone had let off a wizard cracker! Colin laughed merrily as his mate Ava made her appearance! "AVAAA!!" Colin smirked.

Colin downed a gulp of the liquid in the flask. He felt the familiar burn of the alcohol as it made its way down his throat. Not the horrible gut burning, acid etching sensation of the goblin piss stuff they threw out behind the Hogs Head. No, this was much better stuff! Aamon was right! Why didn't we drink this stuff all the time! It felt cool and crisp, like apples should!

There was a very faint --- bitterness --- about it. "Heh. Deffo no mushrooms," he whispered to himself.

"RIGHT!" Colin called out. "OWOOOOOOO!!!" Colin leaped gracefully towards the center of the gathered boys, to where the SNOG Bottle was still standing upright, a tall and proud symbol of the grand association that would for ever more be the Slytherin Night of Gentlemen!

There were now so many cute girls here! And then there was Ava. She was really beautiful. Colin blinked. The girl came over towards him. "Ava! You're looking super cute tonight!" He flashed her a smile, showing her all his fangs. "Right you lot!" Colin began, addressing the assembled boys. "Tis time for the practical exam! We've studied our French! We know the anatomy of the snog! We know all the social graces! So now it's time to put it all together!"

Colin carefully set the bottle on its side. It was currently pointed at Nabi Park --- but who knew where it would end up! Colin was hoping for Ava...

He gave it a spin!

The gentle clinking sound of heavy glass as it span around on the ancient floor --- surely not the first time a bottle had been spun around in these hallowed halls of Regulus Dorm! --- cut through the conversation, alerting all that a new phase of the evening had begun. Colin went back and sat down next to Ava. Somehow it just seemed natural.

The cidre worked its way through Colin's cursed blood. He wondered who the bottle would land on. Colin smirked. It was time for some snogging!
