Afternoon Slot
Not long after Prat had been taken off the piste, Alyssea raised her hand to signal them all to continue. What came next was both expected and also surprising all at once.
The use of the Slippery Jinx in a duel was not one Alyssea saw often, likely because she wasn't on the duelling scene long enough to see any spells like this getting thrown around. In her time, it was mostly Tickling Charms, Dancing Feet Spells, and the odd Fire-Making Spell (both versions). The idea was simple: a little damage went a long way. These guys, however, made interesting use of support spells in conjunction with attack spells. The slippery floor blindfolded Elisa just at the right moment.
"And there it is! The second blindfold the lions always intended." One could only hope it wouldn't be her downfall much like her teammate.
On the other hand, Siobhan wasn't faring too well, witnessing her spell fizzle to nothing in front of her. Alyssea grimaced. Well...
As expected, Slytherin wanted an eye for an eye after losing a player and finally took down Theo with one last Knockback Jinx. Alyssea winced and then raised her hand yet again to signal a stop to the match. "And that's Vendeberg down! Please give us a second to also carry him off the piste." For a moment, she forgot just how violent duelling could get. Not many people actually got knocked out before someone reached the finish line in racing, so this was certainly a wake-up call.

Gryffindor vs. Slytherin: Match 6
Ah and there went Theo. She figured he would be the first to go, ONLY because he had been hit twice already. This was complicated seeing as she had missed her firemaking spell and Pyxis was still standing quite upright. Thankfully Elisa was blindfolded again and this would help out in the next round. She and Sere were perfectly capable of holding their own and with the added help of Sere's Metelojinx which had finally hit Elisa and was quite spectacular to watch, they had a good shot. She just needed to stay alive and alert.

Gryffindor vs. Slytherin: Match 6
Elisa was prepared for anything that might come her way - after Prat, she would obviously be the second target. However, it seemed like the lions had anticipated her dodge, and had countered it with the Slippery Jinx. All while trying to keep her balance on the floor beneath her feet, she admired Gryffindor's duelling strategy, silently nodding her head in approval. So concentrated she was on her thoughts, she did not anticipate in the slightest the blindfold flying her way and wrapping itself firmly around her face. Elisa gulped. She knew what was going to come - of course, the Gryffindors were going to do exactly what they had done to the Slytherin captain. Oh gosh... she thought, exasperated. As though things could get any worser, a sharp sizzle went through her entire body, and she only remembered then the storm cloud above her head.
Perhaps this time, the lions had proved more cunning than the snakes.

Date : February 9th, 2025 Color code : Written|Thought|Said Right after successfully reading the Vipers' strategy and casting Lubricus, Sere saw Theo casted another Blindfolded Spell: his last action for this match. Sere felt herself freeze for a moment, but really only for a moment, because right after that she heard the sound of cheers coming from the spectator area. She recognized the voice and turned her head, Brookline! She waved with a very little smile. Fiery spirit suddenly burning herself again. She could see a lightning from the rain cloud she created in the first round, as if the cloud was also giving full support. Sere took a breath and said to Siobhan, "It's just two of us now. Let's win this."

Gryffindor vs. Slytherin: Match 6
With a quick glance at Elisa, Pyxis knew what the plan was. The girl was a prime target, so it was a smart idea for her to up her awareness in lieu of casting a spell. The young wizard didn’t anticipate that they’d be outwitted, however. The Gryffindors smartly predicted their move and Pyxis raised his eyebrows in awe at Sere’s choice of spell. If he wasn’t the one duelling them, he’d probably be out of his seat and whooping by now. But before he could dwell more on the Ravenclaw-like instincts of the lions, Elisa was blindfolded and promptly struck by lightning from that annoying cloud overhead. His only consolation was watching another successful Knockback Jinx leave his wand which sent Theo straight to the hospital wing.

Well... Well. In all honesty, Alyssea did have to clap to Elisa attempting to aim even when blindfolded. Alyssea had done that before, although it wasn't a blindfold, but rather a very, very thick cloud of smoke. Possibly the strongest smokescreen Alyssea would ever conjure and never again. She successfully hit her target that time, but Elisa wasn't so fortunate. In the end, the poor snake fell to the ground after a barrage of Knockback Jinxes sent her way after being blindfolded. Smart, of course. A little boring? Oh, a hundred percent. This was possibly the most boring duel Alyssea had ever watched, but there wasn't much to do when it was this high stakes. This was not the place to experiment.
Alyssea raised her arm yet again (oh my god) to signal a pause to the match. "And that's Wagner down, leaving Hellebore as the last Slytherin on the piste. Before we continue, please give us a second to get Wagner off the piste."
This would undoubtedly be a difficult match to come back from. Two versus one. Now, it wasn't impossible to come back from such unbalanced odds, but there would be a lot of pressure to execute this right. Alyssea looked to Pyxis and offered a smile. "Reckon you can still turn the tables? You never know..."

Date : February 9th, 2025 Color code : Written|Thought|Said Sere swear she had never read any book titled 'The Ultimate Way to Defeat Your Duel Opponent in 10 Seconds' or another similar in her life, but this game was indeed the most fast-paced she had ever done during her duelling career. The Viridian Vipers started with offensive spells that showed their intention to play fast and the Regal Roar just tried to keep up with them, adding some sprinkles of strategies. Another knock out and it still made Sere winced uncomfortably. She had been in there, in that position, and she hated it.

Gryffindor vs. Slytherin: Match 6
Siobhan watched as their last round had taken out the second of the snakes. She felt confident that this would go well for them as long as they kept their heads up and the focus remained within them. Sere mentioned something but her ears were filled with a prideful buzzing and she turned to her just to acknowledge that she heard her.

Gryffindor vs. Slytherin: Match 6
The gods, who had been kind to Pyxis during his duels thus far, were not on his side today. That much was clear as he lost focus on casting to watch another one of his allies go down. The young wizard was so used to putting everything he had into casting a spell that when he lost concentration, it didn't take much for the spell to blow up in his face. He winced as he tried to shake off the pain of the Knockback Jinx and regarded his referee with a heavy sigh. "I think I'm going to need a miracle here."
