Private RP with @Annie Morgan.
Elinor was sitting on her bed, in a ball, trying to stop tears coming down her cheeks. She arrived at Hogwarts not so long ago. The hardest thing she has ever done in her life was leaving her parents. Her family was everything to her, her best friends, her tutors, her mentors. They have helped Elinor go through every hard time of her life, supporting her and make her feel safe.

Now… A lot of people tell Elinor that she has to grow up because, to others, growing up meant spending most of their time with friends and less to no time with their parents. Elinor found that outrageous. How could anyone want to go out with their friends if they have nothing to do? Elinor thought to herself. Indeed, she liked spending time with her, so called "friends" but just in school. She never had a best friend. She may have had a few friends but for most people, Elinor made them believe that she saw them as friends but, in real life, she would just consider them acquaintances. She never shared a secret with anyone but her family.

As Elinor thought about how hard it was for her here, she tried hard thinking about all of the great moments she spent here even though it was rough. For example, she loves going to the library, she goes there everyday. There is such a warm vibe that makes her feel great. She also loves taking long walks around the castle and stop for ten minutes evrytime she saw a cat. While she was thinking about all of that, she felt a warm tear rolling down her cheek, slowly. She felt it go all the way to her neck. She wiped it but another tear followed up. She couldn't stop the tears dropping anymore. How do they all do that. Students here never cry because they're lonely or because they miss their family. I'm not normal. How can it be normal to be so weak..

When she heard people coming up to the dormitory, she got up immediately and got out right after girls walked in. She went in the corridors on her way to the library but she felt dizzy, really dizzy. She couldn't breathe, oh, she had one slight breath. She was scared of students calling the nurse because she had a rather weird attitude. She didn't want to go to the hospital if it wasn't an emergency. She knew it, Elinor knew it. She was having an anxiety attack. She dealt with anxiety her hole life. The last attack she had was on her previous last day of school. Pupils were running when the bell rang, to indicate the school year was over. That was the last time. She didn't want to have severe anxiety this year. So she sat down on a bench, trying to control her emotions, trying to control her tears but that was impossible. She tried looking away to make her invisible.

Annie laid in her dorm room on her bed, reading a book. She hummed softly to herself before looking up at the clock. The girl huffed and closed her book before rolling out of bed. She had been reading for nearly and hour and decided she should probably not be all stuck up in the dorm room. With a yawn, Annie flattened out her crumpled clothes and bed sheets, stretched and then proceeded to grab her satchel before exiting the dorm room.

She had just exited the room to see another girl quickly rush past her. Annie got a quick glimpse of the girl's face only to see her cheeks red, puffy and stained with tears. Her eyebrows scrunched together in concern before exiting the common room and following her down the corridors. She heard the girl's sniffles turn into shallow gasps and Annie could only think of one thing that could be happening. An anxiety attack

Annie saw the girl sat down on a bench and try to regain control and slow her emotions. She quietly made her way over there and sat down on the bench next to her. "Hey there, don't worry, just breathe in and out alright?" The girl spoke quietly, trying to make her voice sound soothing. "My name's Annie Morgan, do you want to tell me what's going on? Take your time it's okay." Annie started rubbing the girl's back, remembering how her mom did similar things to her when she had panic attacks. She patiently sat on the bench with the girl in silence while the cooridor remained empty.
