Clark salsa-danced his way into the classroom, his arms tightly gripping a thick brown hard-cover book and in his clenched hands were rolled up parchments and a pencil. He took a seat, throwing everything in his hands and arms onto the desk before quickly rushing back to the door and slamming it, forgetting to lock it.

No one needed to know he was doing work. Not Hogwarts work, no, rather muggle tier work. He had to admit he had an interest for the muggle world, their education. He didn’t care so much for broom zooms or anything like that. But, if he showcased that then his reputation and value at Hogwarts shoots six feet deep into the ground.

He sat down at the table, cracking open the brown book called ‘Year Nine Algebra: The Algebra Textbook For Wannabe Dorks’. Inside, there were questions that covered linear equations and inequalities, quadratic equations, functions and graphs, polynomials, rational expressions and equations and radical expressions and equations. Clark was hoping these topics would make sense, but honestly, as he flipped through the book, it only seemed to get more and more confusing and complex.

He needed to work on it. Yes, that was the only way he’d do well. He felt like his dad, the one that was alive. Octavius Baird. What a dork. Well, a dork for Astronomy specifically, god how boring must his life be to do that?

Well, he couldn’t judge, he was wanting to get a muggle-tier education, but didn’t want to tell anyone about it, so he would probably end up teaching himself.. but maybe he can be so smart and still so cruel that no one has an alternative choice but to bow down to him.

That didn’t make sense. Well, Clark’s mindset never really made sense.

He flattened the piece of parchment and grabbed the pencil, writing down the first problem under the Linear Equations and Inequalities chapter.
Solve for x: 3x - 7 = 2x + 5
Graph the Inequality: 2y - 3 > y + 4
Solve the system of equations: (pretend its one curvy bracket with two equations in it)
{2x + 3y = 12
{x - 4y = -2
