Reducio history. Raised in a townhouse on Argyle Street in St. Andrews, Scotland, Cirrus was born to parents Hotae Nam, a South Korean, and Joyce Nam, a full scot. The Family is close-knit and loving, just like the love story of his parents, who had met by chance and fallen in love while Hotae was studying abroad in Scotland. The Nam family was known for their good sense of humor, kindness, strong morals, and sweet family dog Cinnamon, an old St. Bernard. Despite his magical abilities and overall Scottish upbringing, Cirrus also learned Korean customs and the language from his father and paternal grandparents who still live in Namhae, South Korea. The family often visits the older Korean couple during the holidays. Cirrus Nam upbringing was overall normal except he didn't quite fit the mold of any of the other muggle children. But this wasn't because he was considered a gifted child amongst his peers, but rather because everywhere he went strange occurrences seemed to follow. This would often cause superstitious townsmen to whisper about bad luck, but his parents would just call it an odd coincidence. fiom. This 'bad luck' began to happen even more frequently around Joyce's and Hotae's 3-year-old son, Cirrus. But again, the instances could be put off as being just one's mind playing tricks on them. But all these red flags came to surface on one fateful chilly autumn evening. Hotae and Joyce were very busy with the chores that Autumn brings, or to put it more simply cleaning up the leaves. They had just finished raking up all the leaves into a large pile, the yard was spotless, of course, save the large pile of leaves. They celebrated a little before realizing... Where was Cirrus? They called out and looked around for him but heard nothing. When suddenly they heard a small boy's voice from up above, and to the parent's terror their 3-year-old son was on top of their roof. Before they could tell him to stay put or to get down, he jumped... And fell into the large pile of leaves. They were mortified as they tried to dig him up from the leaves and were shocked to find Cirrus giggling and laughing. But the most flabbergasting thing was that the little boy was completely unscathed. They could deny no longer that their boy was not very ordinary. It wasn't until this first instance of magic that it could be no longer refuted, Cirrus was indeed behind these 'coincidences', he was undoubtedly a wizard. |
Reducio personality. Cirrus has a mix of both positive and negative aspects to his personality. He is loyal, charismatic, kind, funny, and easy-going, which makes him come across as dependable and trustworthy to those around him. Cirrus also is smart, having been a gifted child in the muggle world he combats the struggle with being the opposite in the wizarding world. Also due to his rather slow and dense nature, he is often referred to as a himbo, because he is only book-smart. His honesty and great listening skills make him a valuable companion, however, he suffers from a lack of decisiveness, which can make him hesitant and unsure in certain situations causing him to act recklessly. Additionally, Cirrus struggles with his awkwardness, clumsiness, and nerves, which can make him feel uncomfortable in social situations, he is overall a pretty quiet kid as well. Cirrus typically comes across as friendly, down-to-earth, and approachable. He is often described as wholesome, innocent, energetic, and has a carefree demeanor, a warm welcoming smile, and the personality of a toddler. Cirrus doesn't wear anything flashy or attention-seeking and often looks pretty well-put-together and easily blurs into the crowd. Even though he doesn't catch people's eyes immediately he has a quiet loyal strength and a relatively subtle boyish charm, perfectly excluding boy next-door vibes. Around Hogwarts he is often seen by Gekko Phillips's side. |
Reducio facecard. Cirrus stands tall with an overall slimmer build, his overall physique not being the strongest. His unkept, mousy brown hair falls in long wispy waves, further framing his porcelain face. His wide almond eyes hint at his Scottish and Korean heritage, twinkling with a warm haziness that represents pooling honey. Cirrus's eyes are further highlighted by his smile, as they scrunch into half-moons, revealing his dimples and his overbite that causes his teeth to slightly protrude out of his mouth. His smile also reveals the small chip in his front right tooth, caused after an accidental kiss with Gekko Phillips. His high cheekbones and prominent eyebrows add a sharp quality to his face, while his pouty lips and high-bridge nose offer a subtle hint of sweetness. Cirrus has a faint scar on the top left of his lip caused by a childhood accident, as well as a mole on his chin. Despite his appearance, it's his strong Scottish accent that often catches people off-guard, adding a strange contrast and surprise. Overall the boy is someone who effortlessly blends in well with the crowd but stands out upon further inspection. |

The presence across immediately bolted upright, his eyes stricken with, slight but still, abrupt fear as he met with the boy's. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. Soulless, that's what they were, like smooth coal, except unlike the mineral there was no hope or even flicker of warmth within them. Punctual, never a minute too late, never a minute too early. Vyacheslav also found himself in a mindless trance-like state as he watched the gold hands click across the cerulean blue face. 14:00, at that exact second the two composedly, but rushedly, exited the carriage where they were met by the cold gusts of winter winds. Snow immediately stuck to their clothes and eyelashes. Vyacheslav trudged through the foot-deep snow with ease and grace unbothered by the withering cold, while the shivering escort practically had to swim as he waddled through the condensed ice. Vyacheslav let a puff of white leave his lips as he stood in the shadow of his childhood home if he could even call it that. He knew more of being the Baskakova Manor than anything else, being the birthplace of his extensive training [since the age of 3] and residence of his parents. | XXXXXXXX | PRELUDE. One man's junk is another man's treasure, and the city of Irkutsk was no exception. Irkutsk is known as one of the top major cities of Industrialism in Siberia, Russia. Boasting countless repair yards/junkyards of railways, aircraft, ships, vehicles, etc. But alas, Irkutsk was also a home, home to the Baskakova family. A fairly heard of pure-blooded family, due to their 'new' money status having risen so quickly in 50 years and distant connection with the Vinogradova lineage. [See Baskakova Section for more Information]. It was in this city that the next Baskakova took his first breath at 5:55 AM (GMT+8) on the 23rd of December, in the year of 2012. [The Year of The Water Dragon, Capricornus] This birth marked a significant event as Vyacheslav and Emin finally had an offspring to continue on their lineage, a stressed matter as the couple had tried for years only to be successful in their early forties. Time was of the essence, and when their son, Melor was born he didn't cry, which immediately caused panic. But it was quickly learned that the boy was perfectly healthy, but much rather born with the genetic peripheral neuropathy disorder, HSAN2 [Hereditary sensory and autonomic neuropathy type II]. |
