Pam had never expected that the Astronomy Tower would become a thinking spot for her. And yet, here she was.

It was quiet and Pam welcomed the peace as she thought about all the events that had transpired over the last few days, starting out with finding that potion. From everything that she had heard, more than half of the Hufflepuffs had consumed the potions. She wasn't sure how many of those people had consumed, but she was actively praying that not a lot of them were catatonic.

She had thought that her own withdrawal had been bad. But after she saw Mamori last night...... she was downright terrified.

Pam hoped he was doing better now. The way he had looked last night, it had felt like something out of a horror movie. And she didn't even watch horror movies. The image was still pretty imprinted in her head, and the girl shuddered as she remembered the inky substance that had leaked out of pretty much every corner of the boy's face. She could only guess at how much it must have hurt him.

So why was there a part of her still longing for one more taste?

For the first time in her life, Pam had encountered something she had not been able to talk to her father about. Her room had been filled up with crumpled up paper as she wrote and rewrote some ten letters before finally giving up. Because, what should she tell him? Hi dad! So I came across a random unknown potion and drank it and have probably gotten addicted to it. Oh and one of my housemates came close to possible death because of the same potion.

Yep, sounds legit.

Pam shook her head, staring up at the starry dark sky, the future seemed to promise a lot of trouble. She hoped she could come out of it relatively unscathed.
