It was the first time Vivien came in to the study room. Not to study—at least, not in the traditional sense. She was exploring. Exploring her second home. Exploring people around her and their moves. Someone was studying in pride loneliness. In the corner were a couple of small groups chatting quietly about something. She recognized some of them—students she had seen idly hanging out together earlier. She saw some of them just hanging out together when professor came to them and they obeingly nod their heads above a stock of books. " Charming," she thought. A grand window stood before her, allowing golden sunlight to spill into the room. It made the room look far brighter than it truly was. Vivien felt the tug of curiosity, an urge to learn more. Not just about the room, but about the people in it. Maybe she’d introduce herself. Maybe she already knows someone but cannot see. Maybe she'd—
She heard some noise from behind which sounded like someone called her name. She turned around to check. No one. She looked again to see is there anything she missed, but the room behind her looked empty. "Maybe I misheard," Vivien thought but something inside of her was still curious to know. "Or maybe not."

Madisyn was bored. She had been studying so much, and she was getting tired of it. She didn't come to the study room to study, she came because she needed a quiet place.
She figured she could read in the study room because it was quiet. As she walked around to find a quiet corner, she spotted a girl whom she recognized as Vivien.
Madisyn wanted to make friends, but was nervous because she thought people wouldn't like her.
She decided- against her better judgement- to talk to the girl, because she seemed nice enough to become friends with.
"Hi. I'm Madisyn, but you can call me Mady if you want. Madisyn said. "You're Vivien, right?" she asked, hoping to make a new friend.
As she waited for Vivien's response, her eyes darted around the room, admiring the shelves filled to the brim with books. Madisyn was amazed that one place could hold so many books.
She was nervous while waiting for the girl to respond. She hoped she wasn't making it awkward, because she was trying to make a good first impression.
She read some of the titles of the books on the shelves, her nerves starting to take over. She really hoped Vivien wouldn't be judging.

Today was a very relaxing day, compared to the others, since today was no Quidditch practices, which usually ended in pouring rain and mud. So if you get knocked of your broom, you are in luck you are not getting injured from the fall... you will fall in a pool of mud. So that is how every practice ended. And wandered into the study room to finish up his second year work, but fixed his eyes on two girls instead. One girl looked pretty nervous interacting with the other... of course, when Andy was a first year he was nervous too, but not that nervous. He walked up to the girls to talk to them, since they where the only ones who looked kind enough. They really did look kind. With no spark of being nervous the boy walked up to the girls. Hello! First time in the study room? I am kind of bored, mind if we chat? While waiting for a answer, And admired the view of the room. It was very cozy, books where everywhere, and this was the perfect place [other than the library] to study. Andy turned back to the girls and waited for an answer from at least one of them.

Vivien turned around and saw a girl. She was standing in front of her and looked a little bit nervous. She said "Hi. I'm Madisyn, but you can call me Mady if you want. You're Vivien, right?" Vivien paused for a moment to think where did she saw Mady. " Oh yeah, hi! I remember you from the Sorting Ceremony! Nice to meet you Mady!" said Vivien with vivid excitement. She loved meeting new people. "What were you going to do I this room? Homework? Read something entertaining? Do you have any friends here? Do you see them so maybe we can join?" Vivien was a curios to get to know Mady. She caught herself on a thought that they look like two opposites which can fulfill each other what felt kind of fascinating. Vivien could possibly continue to mumbling a lot of question and facts, but with a corner of her eye she saw a shadow which was coming toward them. She turned her head to look at shadow's owner. It turned out to be a tall boy with glasses who was now standing next to them. "Hello! First time in the study room? I am kind of bored, mind if we chat?" Vivien made an observatory look at him, checked and with a slight smile on her face said "Yes, I guess it's fine with me. My name is Vivien by the way. What do you think Mady? Maybe we should move somewhere so we'll have a space to sit and chat."

The girl by the name of Vivien seemed very friendly to Andy. He adjusted his glasses, which he only uses in the study room, and heard the girl saying that they should move to another place.
Sure! Let's head over to that table right there. Said Andy pointing to a small table with three chairs in the corner of the room. As a second year, the boy already knew the the best places to chat at, and that corner was the best. Are you guys coming? He said, as he took a seat. What are y'all favorite subjects here at Hogwarts? I like potions the most. Said the Scottish boy. Each of the girl's faces seemed friendly, so Andy had no trouble talking with them. As he waited for a answer, he gazed at the pretty shelves of books, each with a unique spine, and unique words in gold ink, red, black, blue... every color really. He put his attention on the girls again. He loved conversations, but what he loved the most is meeting new people, and the chances of that happening today are almost 100% The candles and lamps in the study room gave off a cozy feeling of warmth and safety. This was probably one of the best rooms in the castle, with such a unique design.
