Late Autumn, 2024

The weather was absolutely dreadful- and had been for the last months since he enrolled at Hogwarts. The shitty weather had affected his mood considerably. He couldn't wait until spring rolled around, perhaps the sun would shine then and illuminate the scottish highlands, and then he could finally brush up on his tan. Sebastian couldn't say that he particularly enjoyed England, despite having had several years to make it his home. It just honestly sucked compared to growing up in Cali, where the sun was pretty much guaranteed. Not to mention the ton of homework that had been piled on by his professors. What- did they take him for a scholar? He wasn't. At best, Sebastian put in just enough effort to scrape by and to avoid redoing the year. The only exception was transfiguration, which he had a bit of a natural knack for, and herbology. Not the dangerous and ugly plants, god forbid he ended up with scars, but pretty flowers and plants. Seb didn't really have to do much, they just seemed to thrive in his mere presence. I mean, who didn't? His face could light up the most dull and ugly places.

Yes, he thought highly of himself.

To make this place a little less gloomy, he'd brought several of his favourite botanicals to school. Some of them decorated his dorm, but the majority needed a bit more light than the crammed towers could provide. It was difficult enough in this place, believe me, so he had arranged with a professor to get a spot for his flower arrangements in the greenhouses. They had been pretty happy to provide for him, the Drake smile was irresistible. It had become the place he spent a lot of his free time in recently.

After the day's afternoon classes, that he'd mostly bullshitted through, Sebastian headed towards the greenhouses to check up on his flowers. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary- at first. He'd passed one of his favourite peonies to fetch his gloves when he registered something in his periphal view. Seb did a double take, glancing back at the plant. Though he was not quick enough to dodge the sharp teeth that took a bite out of his ass.

Sebastian shrieked, cupping his poor behind and fell over. Ugh! Tossing onto his sore ass, he looked around in bewilderment. What had been his precious peonies had now turned into something out of his nightmares. "Oh no! My flowers!" Sebastian whined in wide-eyed horror. "What happened to you?!" like they could speak back to him. The once-gentle flowers had sprouted sharp teeth, snapping at the air as though they'd developed a sudden hunger for unsuspecting students. How dare they bite the hand that feeds them? But even more importantly, who had fucked up his flowers?!
