Bailey genuinly loved archery, and was super excited to be hosting another club meeting. She had been super focued on school in the fall, so the first meeting of the year was happening TODAY, January 25th. It was a saturday, perfectly sunny outside. It was a little chilly, snow still frosting the trees and the ground.
Bailey got out to the club area a little early, around 9:30, to start setting up. The meeting was set to start at 10:30, and she knew people would probably start showing around 10. She was hoping @Kim Sato would come a little early and they would get to hang out and talk for a few minutes, but only time would tell.
Once people started showing up, bailey would greet everyone and welcome them to the club.
"Hello and good morning! Welcome to the hogwards archery association!" she would greet everyone.
Once everyone, or mostly everyone had arrived and it was 10:30 proper, bailey would further introduce herself, her co leader, what the club was about and what it was trying to accomplish.
"Good morning again everyone! My name is Bailey Glade, I am a 5th year Ravenclaw, and I am the leader of this club, amongst many others. My co leader for this club and all of my others is no other than my favorite person, Kim Aoki! As i mentioned earlier to some of you, this is the Hogwarts Archery Association. In this club you can learn how to shoot a bow, either recurve or compound, aided or unaided, or if you already know, this is a great space to practice and learn more! For all of you who have little to non archery experience, i ask that you come stand by me, and if you know how to shoot and are confident, you can go line up by the shooting line in front of the bales, and listen for the whistle commands. To all of my friends who are new to this, I will explain as much as i can, and I will answer any and all questions you have! Do we have any questions from anyone before we get started?

Mahlioz was freaking late to her first ever archery club gathering. Okay, not actually late - it was supposed to start at 10 and in all honesty she was actually five minutes early. But they had wanted to get there early, be able to help with setting up and everything. Instead they had gotten distracted as usual by a book (why did this always happen) and had realized what time it was too late to get there early.

Well, at least she was here. She'd been looking forward to an archery club gathering for a very long time, ever since she'd signed up in her first year after getting into archery. Since then, she'd improved immensely - she'd convinced her parents to buy her a bow so she could practice, and spent a lot of free time in the warmer seasons outside shooting arrows at a target. The only other person they'd done it with was Qrow last year, and they were very excited to know what it would be like with a whole group of like-minded individuals.

Mahlioz did not know Bailey well, but had certainly seen her around before, and knew her name. She grinned back when the blonde girl welcomed her and listened attentively to her instructions. Having completely forgotten their own bow, the Slytherin borrowed a recurve one of the available ones and made their way to the shooting line. Wait, was this the right place for them, actually? They had never done this with other people. What did Bailey mean by whistle commands?

Slightly put down by the fact that she might not have been as knowledgeable in archery as she thought, Mahlioz hesitantly backed away from the shooting line and went back over to Bailey with the more novice archers. "Hi! I'm, uh. I know how to shoot and everything, I don't think I need help with that, but I've never done it with anyone else. Is there anything I should know, like, safety-wise? How does this work so we don't all end up hurting each other? Also, what's a whistle command?" Gods, she felt a little pathetic and more than a little silly. This was supposed to be her expertise, a field she was good at! But a couple of questions were necessary, even if they wounded her pride. Safety first, especially when surrounded by teenagers.

Bailey waited around after setting up, waiting for the first person to arrive. That person happened to not be her best friend, @kim sato, but instead a @Mahlioz Evethisawe, a third year bailey knew was in Slytherin.
Bailey did not know Mahlioz well, but she knew about her a little, at least enough to know her name and house, and that they were a duelist.
Smiling to see Mahlioz approaching, bailey waved. Seeing no one in the immediate surroundings, bailey approached.
"hello! you're Mahlioz, right?" Sticking out her hand for Mahlioz to shake if they so desired, she continued. "i'm bailey, bailey glade! this is the archery club, so welcome!"

A little later, after they had gotten started, Mahlioz approached bailey again, with a question.
"omg of course! i should have explained better. Where i grew up learning archery, we used wistle commands, to tell people when to approach the shooting line, when you can start shooting, and when it's safe to retrieve arrows, or when to stop shooting, like if someone wanders into the fields while we're shooting. It's two blasts to approach the shooting line, one to start shooting, three to retrieve arrows, and a bunch of short loud ones to stop shooting. does that make sense?"

It was time for a new meeting of HAA. Unlike the Animal Lovers Club, Kim actually did enjoy this one. He didn't have to worry about cats coming along for the ride. The duelist also actually had some experience with archery too. He might not be overly skilled or experienced in the sport but at least he knew more than the average person. That was good enough to help his best friend out with her club about the sport. Kim was not a morning person and never had been one.

If he got up early he was grumpy for awhile until he managed to wake up. When he'd been a first year the earliest he could manage was 11 but as the years passed it had gone down to 10, before he backslid during his depression era. However, with Val's help, Kim had managed to make it out of the darkness and this year he'd actually made progress. He'd been able to rouse himself at 9 which was a big feat but Kim was positive that was the earliest he would ever open both his eyes.

No one could make him go earlier than that, unless it was for classes.

Only Noah had been able to make him come at random early hours. Kim didn't even know why he let him drag him off, the bloody boy had even woken him from a deep sleep in the middle of the night. He'd Flipendo'd him off the bed too. Opening his eyes, Kim looked over at the time. It was 9AM right on the dot... Yawning, Kim got up and took care of his daily necessities. Grabbing his red Durmstrang uniform, Kim put on the outfit, pulling the cloak on last with a sigh.

He made it over to the place where Bailey would be holding the club sometime around 9:45. Kim inclined his head towards Bailey and yawned again. He really wasn't a morning person and wasn't really awake yet. But since he was used to getting up around 9 now, it wasn't as bad as before. Bailey addressed everyone present and introduced him as her co-captain which made him incline his head to everyone. Soon enough, things got started but someone had a question now....

They'd addressed it to Bailey, so Kim decided to let Bailey answer it, especially since this was her club, even though he helped her run it. Bailey answered them soon afterward. Kim was interested in how Bailey spoke about the whistles. With him, it had been a combination of whistles and starter pistols. One member had shown up but not enough for them to truly have a meeting for the club. Usually a club needed to have at least 5 members, including the captain and co-captain.

Even with them all combined, they only had three. If just two more showed up, they could call the meeting a success but anything before that would be a failure.

Kibō rode on his shoulder, his gem-like eyes casting their gaze upon everyone.
