The first thing Linnéa did when arriving to Hogwarts- well, apart from being sorted and getting familiar with the hufflepuff common room- was to checkout the avaliable clubs to join. Her schedule had been pretty buys outside of school, and she planned to make the most of her time in it, aswell. Linnéa had been delightfully excited to find out, among the various posters and notes on the notice board advertising both duelling clubs, wizarding chess and quidditch, that there was a dance club- and a drama club! She'd gone to dancing classes since she was five years old. Naturally, she'd signed up for both!

It was with light feet she hurried through the corridors to attend the first club meeting, a bag thrown over her shoulder with some active wear, in case she would need it, a month after the sorting ceremony. Linnéa hadn't asked any of the first year hufflepuffs if they were attending, but she hoped that she might see some familiar faces there. Or else, she would just have to make aquaintances. Luckily, she was quite good at that.

When she arrived in the rehearsal room, there was already quite a few people there, gathering on cushions around an older guy, who seemed to be somewhat of a club leader. Since he was speaking, she didn't want to interrupt. Linnéa snuck inside, briefly registering a fellow first year hufflepuff after a glance around, and headed towards the free cushion beside her. They hadn't spoken, but she recognised her from ther dorms and common room. Now was as good as time as any, right?

"Hi," she 'whispered' with a friendly smile, though it was loud enough for her to hear her properly, but hopefully it wouldn't distract the others. "We're in the same house, right? I'm Linnéa, by the way." She sat down, discarding her bag beside her. "Are you excited? I know I am!"

As Madisyn sat down, she saw someone she knew. She recognized Linnéa from the Sorting Ceremony. With a newfound surge of confidence, Madisyn decided to introduce herself to Linnéa, since she had missed her previous introduction. She walked up to the honey blonde girl taking a breath before she spoke.
"Hi, I'm Madisyn. But my friends call me Mady. You're Linnéa, right?"
Madisyn was hoping she was correct on who the girl was, or that would be a total embarrassment, and she didn't need that being a newcomer to the club. She was already nervous enough because there were a lot of kids in older years, and she was one of the younger ones.
While waiting for the blonde girl to respond, she looked around the room, her eyes landing on the other children that were chatting and laughing, seeming to be enjoying themselves. Madisyn hoped she would fit in well with the children, because she loved acting, and she wouldn't want it ruined by a bunch of other children that were older than her.
She pushed that thought aside, knowing that she was probably crazy to think that a few children from Hogwarts could ruin her lifelong passion for acting. That certainly wouldn't happen, right?

Throughout her first year at Hogwarts, Tracey was mainly focusing on knowing her way around the castle, now in her second year, Tracey decided that she wanted to join clubs.

Clubs were a great way to figure out yourself more by finding your passion and trying new things, but, in clubs you can also make friends, which were two things that she wanted.

Upon hearing about a drama club, Tracey decided to sign up. She wasn't entirely familiar with drama or the whole acting process, but she was interested in it, plus, who knows, maybe she'll actually be great at drama!

Tracey had always been wanting to take drama, but she couldn't while attending muggle school, since there weren't any drama classes nor were there any clubs.

When the day of the first meeting arrived, Tracey dressed casual and made her way down to the fourth floor and walked along the corridor until she found the rehearsal room. Tracey walked into the room and didn't see many familiar faces, so she smiled at everyone before sitting in an empty cushion. Tracey then decided to introduce herself so she said,
"Hello everyone. I'm Tracey Bailey. I've never taken drama before, so I probably have a lot to learn, but I'm happy to be here and can't wait to get started,"

More people started showing up and Kim was pleased this particular club was getting a lot of interest. He'd been looking forward to doing more with this club this year than before. A lot of first years seemed to have taken interest in the club and Kim was happy to see their interest in drama. "Welcome to Drama Club, everyone." He told all of the members who had gathered together. "Please, take a seat on the cushions." Kim said, gesturing at the empty ones all over. "For those of you who came late, don't worry too much. We haven't really started, other than introductions." He reassured all the newcomers.

"Since a lot of us have gathered together already and the time of the meeting has come, let's proceed a bit for now. Those who are late can always join us later." Kim said with a nod and cleared his throat to take a deep breath and let it out slowly. "First of all, let's clear our minds and relax a little. After we're done, I want to play an icebreaker game with all of you, so we can get to know eachother better. Does anyone have any games like this they might want to play with everyone? Or shall I go ahead and choose one for us?" Kim asked, looking all around the circle.

To see what the others thought. Kibō remained curled up around Kim's pack which had been placed off to the side and out of the way of where everyone was currently gathered at the moment. Kim hoped they would have some fun at the meeting and everyone would start to loosen up a little. It was only when people had fun that they started to open up a bit. Icebreaker games were designed to do exactly that. It didn't matter what the game was, just that everyone played it and got to know eachother better. Kim also had a game in mind as a last resort if no one spoke. If multiple games were suggested, they could do a majority vote on it.

Bailey had a rough track record this school year, on being late to club meetings. Late again, this time for the drama club meeting, bailey decided to forego changing outfits. Sticking with her comfortable red shirt and black slacks, and well loved black lace up boots. Her jewelry was simple but elegant, a statement she always wanted to make. Bailey always wanted to look put together, and despite not being in her house colors she felt put together; and it was nice to wear Kim's colors for once.
Opening the door to the rehearsal room, bailey saw the room with a decent amount of members already present. If anyone turned to look, bailey would offer up a shy smile and a little wave.
Setting her bag down in the corner, bailey went to have a seat right behind Kim; to anyone looking at Kim bailey was on his right side.
Reaching out and laying a hand on kim's soulder, bailey wispered softly "hey, sorry i'm late."
Looking around, bailey smiled to see so many people excited about being part of the drama/theater club.
When she had been entering the room she had heard kim asking for suggestions on ice breakers. Having never been part of a theater group before, bailey sat back a little, excited to see what the other members would suggest.

Alright, having to wave at every person that passed through the entrance was getting a bit tiring. What was the number by now? He wasn't exactly keeping track but... roughly five? No, maybe four? Which—okay, that was not horrible, it could be much worse. However, Aodhan was growing bored regardless, already wanting the meeting to continue so they could all get into the thick of things.

It seemed the universe granted his wish in the form of Kim, who thankfully stepped up to suggest they play a few icebreakers. Finally. They were still at the introduction stage, but at least it would be masked as something interesting. No more "my name is" floating about for the umpteenth time. He could almost feel the much-needed energy seep right back into his bones, guiding his hand to excitedly shoot up into the air.

"I got one! I got one!" he exclaimed, now too caught up in his own ideas to notice yet another new arrival, "Can we play 'two truths, one lie'? That one is super funny. Or maybe we do charades? Like, one person acts out something they do as a hobby, and everyone else has to guess what it is?"

Both were definitely valid suggestions, things he garnered from the beginning of every new year or extracurricular activity he joined during grade school, willingly or not. And while he understood that many, many others saw them as draining or cringe, he could only view these things as small gems. Or perhaps golden nuggets worked better.

After all, he was being handed the chance to show off for free. Indeed, his statement made to Alyssea was completely and utterly dramatic, but it also wasn't a complete lie. An exaggeration born from a modicum of truth, because of course he wanted to outshine his peers. Of course he wanted eyes on him, so he could prove just how amazing and talented he was. Things that may not have been that true, sure, but also things he could easily pretend to be.

"Wait, and it doesn't have to be just a hobby for the charades thing. It could be anything they love, or anything they think they can, uh, get across!" he quickly added for clarification, just in case.

Lemon walked cautiously into the large rehearsal room where the Drama Club was taking place. There were already quite a few people there, and Lemon had a feeling that they might've gotten the time wrong.

"Hi!" they said, waving as they walked through the entrance. "Sorry if I'm a bit late! I must've gotten the timing wrong. It wouldn't be the first time!" they added with a guilty laugh. "So um..." they began, not sure of what to say next. "So... what are we doing here?"Lemon asked, looking around the room at all of the different faces. They seemed to have already started the meeting or, at least, Lemon hoped so, otherwise they'd be delaying its start even further. "Ooh!" they exclaimed excitedly. "Are we playing an acting game! I love those! I did them all the time in my acting class before I joined Hogwarts!" The memories came flooding into their head. "What game are we playing? Oh, there are so many! There's Werewolf, the bench game one, a lot of getting to know you games, oh and that one with the bus stops where each person who comes in resembles a different emotion!" They looked at how everyone was standing. "But the chairs are always arranged in rows for that game, so you're probably not doing that."
