Potions Class, not her favorite, but not something she hates either. She’s cool with it with how her mother seems to have taken a liking to it and at times, she does enjoy watching her prepare those ingredients and brew the potions that she needed. Raizel had brewed her own for personal use, they are there sitting in her satchel for emergency uses. She does hope however to never use them. As usual, the Gryffindor is with her closest friends, Zach and Alyssea. It’s always nice to be with people that you know so well, especially during classes, gives you someone to talk to when bored even when you have to whisper and risk getting caught chatting by the professor present. It’s only in their presence that she could loosen up like that and mess around despite Alyssea’s disappointed look.
Speaking of Alyssea, the Hufflepuff has something that caught Raizel’s attention. Strange as what she calls it and she had been staring at it for quite some time now, prompting Raizel to move closer and take a look at it herself. “What’cha doin’?” She asked, curiosity filled those brown eyes of hers as she stares at the bottle that seems to be taking her attention more than whatever shenanigans her and Zach might do right now.

Zach looked at Raizel and smiled at her. What's more interesting than the end of a class? Zach could relate to her even though Potions was one of his favourite subjects along with Charms and the Study of Ancient Runes. He had made some of the potions of his interests and regularly checked and restocked, making sure the potions in his belongings was were still good to be used.
He cleaned the table after he had made it from the brewing practice. Many disgusting things were splattered on the table. "Scourgify" he cast, trying to clean the table in a magical way. Why did he have to clean it in a muggle way if he could do it in a magical way? That was his ideal when coming to Wizarding World. The muggle-born was always trying to use magic when he was in school, optimizing his opportunity before he lost it when he was home.
His spell was well cast, fortunately. Every disgusting ooze and things were cleaned. Proud of his work, the boy wanted to show it off to his friends. But his attention caught something. The boy moved closer to Raizel and Alyssea, trying to be included in their talk. "What are you guys talking about?" Then he saw a bottle in Alyssea's hand. "What is that?" Zach asked. The boy couldn't hold his curiosity and demanded an explanation from the girl.

| Ever since Alyssea came in possession of a few vials of... whatever this swirly green stuff was, she'd been meaning to ask Professor Regan about it. A few of her fellow Hufflepuffs had already consumed it, citing boosted confidence as one of a few side effects. Alyssea had taken a sip a few days before and experienced something similar. But the fact it was just lying about in the Hufflepuff common room and dorms raised her eyebrows. She stared at the vials in her hands while trying to do two things: 1) pay attention to the lesson. Alyssea had been wanting to invest in some more potions now that broom racing allowed for more than just healing potions. 2) figure out how to explain to Professor Regan that she found these vials and drank a bit, but was unsure of its actual composition and effects. Probably would have to also figure out a way to say, "yes, I know that was probably a stupid idea, but I really wanted to know what this potion was". Of course, the way she was zoning out caught the attention of her friends. Alyssea snapped back to the present and blinked a few times before placing the vials on the table. "I found these in my dorm... I tried it and nothing weird's happened so far." She looked at Raizel and Zach. With being a fellow healing intern, Zach would definitely have an idea. Alyssea hummed, then picked up one vial for each of her hands and handed it to them. "Here. Have a look. Three is too much just for me, anyway." |

You know, she always see Alyssea as the most responsible one this small group of theirs, someone you can rely on, someone who does rational decisions so hearing that she took a sip of this strange looking liquid without knowing what it does, where it came from and what it is just kind of made her flip the switch into that of a protective cousin. “You… tried it?!” She did her best not to yell, grabbing Alyssea on her shoulders and shaking her lightly. The look on her face was that of worry with a mix of an amused and unnerved grin. She doesn’t know what emotion is the appropriate one to show at this time really.
Why does she even have three vials in the first place and these were lying around in their dorms? If that’s not suspicious enough, then she doesn’t know what is. Her attention shifted from Alyssea then to the strange vials that she had placed on their table. She let go, squinting her eyes on the potion as she picked one up. Everything about it is screaming ‘suspicious’, especially with the way the Hufflepuff had found them. It was like it’s asking to be taken in the first place and of course, that is indeed what happened. It’s no potion that she recognizes but it won’t be surprising if it was from a higher year potion class.
Maybe she’s just being paranoid but it’s a mysterious potion, who wouldn’t be? If drinks at Hogwarts event is enough to make her wary, what more when it’s a potion with unknown components and effects. “And nothing weird ever happened? As in nothing?” Raizel asked with a raised eyebrow as she gently shook the vial, watching the liquid inside. “Still, you drink this without knowing what it does…” That was at least worth a head shake or two.
