Silva was going to learn duelling. And she was going to learn it with Tracey, Tracey Bailey. Ravenclaw second year duellist.

She was still walking with Tracey as she came into the Great Hall, starving. They'd been walking together for a little while after Tracey's duel, which admittedly had ended with Tracey and her team losing, but had still been awesome.

She smiled "Yeah... thanks for that....." She had walked up to Tracey and asked for her to teach Silva, and remarkably, she had.

She listened interested as Tracey explained how she normally found opponents in 1v1 duels. "Oh.... wow... I... thought it would be more complicated than that...." It made sense. Just post up a paper on the billboard, but it still seemed..... just... well... she really had no idea.

She listened even more attentively than before as Tracey explained her duels so far. "Oh.... that's.... not a lot.... and umm..... doesn't sound fun being knocked out....." She was very interested in all aspects of duelling except, perhaps that one.

She looked over at the older girl nervously upon entering the Great Hall. Was she going to leave to sit with her friends. Silva sincerely hoped not.

Her smile widened to a grin as Tracey said she didn't sit with friends. "No! I'll um.... sit with you!" She quickly found an empty seat at the house table with a good space next to it and sat down.

As Tracey and Silva continued walking towards the Great Hall, Tracey smiled at Silva but didn't say anything.

When Silva approached Tracey after she was discharged from the hospital wing because she was knocked out during her last duel, Tracey wasn't expecting to have gotten bombarded by questions about dueling. But since Tracey loves helping people, she decided to answer Silva's questions and even offered to teach her how to duel.

Hearing Silva speak, Tracey couldn't help but wonder why she had thought that it would've been more complicated than putting up a poster asking for a moderator and a partner, but she didn't ask why.

Hearing Silva speak again, Tracey nodded her head, this time she actually had something to say, so she said,
"Being knocked out really isn't fun. But I'm hoping that if I have more practice duels, I should be able to at least last longer than four rounds in an official duel,"

They finally reached the Great Hall and when Silva said that Tracey would probably want to sit with her friends, Tracey says that she usually sits at the house table. Hearing Silva's reply made Tracey smile.

She followed the younger Ravenclaw over to their house table and Tracey sat down beside Silva and she looked at all the food in front of her.

If Tracey wasn't already hungry, she would definitely be hungry now. Tracey looked at her empty plate and decided to fill it up with food. Everything looked so good, that soon she had a pile of food on her plate.

Silva was hungry. Her belly was growling extra loud. She excitedly looked around at all the foods at the Ravenclaw table. She really wanted to just dig in, however, first she listened to the next thing Tracey said. She quickly nodded.

She turned back to the food and piled her plate high. By the time she'd filled her plate it seemed that she had a sample of food from the entire table. In fact, as she looked at it, she wondered how the heck was she this skinny if she was eating this much?

She quickly threw a few bites into her mouth and turned back to Tracey. "What are all the weird-" she paused, looking for a better word "um.. the wizarding world candies?" She'd only had a few so far. Pumpkin pasties, sugar quills, and of course, those weird chocolate frogs. She'd been collecting the cards from them (she was pretty sure that was what you were supposed to do with them) and had 2 or 3 now. She was quite happy with herself.

She continued throwing food in her mouth, but quickly had another question. "Do you... know why certain areas are off limits? Like... why is the Forbidden Forest forbidden, and... why can only 3rd years and above... go to Hogsmeade..."

She was going to sneak into Hogsmeade. She had bought the fake permission form before school started, and had already met another 1st year she planned to go with. She felt terrible about the idea, but she'd already committed to it and really was very excited. That would be her first time actually getting in trouble. But, she had a while to prepare since she wanted to go in December or January. She just hoped Yolanda would understand why.

She realized suddenly that she still had food on her plate and quickly finished it off. She was really full now, and had no wish to eat anything else.

Tracey looked over at Silva and noticed that her plate had at least one of everything from the table. Tracey's did too. This made her wonder how on earth they were both so skinny. Maybe it was because Tracey was doing a lot of exercise.

Tracey began to eat from the pile of food on her plate and when she heard what Silva asked about the wizarding candies, Tracey swallowed before she said,
"Wizarding world candies are really interesting. You can find a whole bunch in Honeydukes. In fact, I got a whole lot from when I had visited Hogsmeade during the fall ball, but don't tell anyone, ok? It's really hard for me to explain what they are, but I think if you try some, you'll know?"

Tracey was a half-blood. So sure, she's had wizarding candies before, but how on earth was she supposed to explain them to a muggle born? Tracey continued to eat the food on her plate and by the time Silva's next question had popped up, she was done, but still had room for dessert.

"I'm actually not sure why that is. But, the Forbidden Forest is banned because of all the creatures inside of it. No one wants to die, or if they do, I'm not sure why. But the professors want to prevent us from being injured or dying, so the forest is off limits," Tracey says.

She actually wasn't sure why both places were off limits, but she had a feeling why the Forbidden Forest was off limits.

Silva was happy. She was comfortably full, going to learn duelling, and, possibly, making a new friend as well as a mentor. Her day pretty much couldn't get any better. She turned to Tracey to find that she'd also piled her plate up super high. She also seemed to be devouring the food just as quickly.

She perked up quickly upon hearing Tracey respond to her question. Her eyes widened. Tracey was still only a second year. That meant she officially knew someone who'd snuck into Hogsmeade without being caught. She almost wanted to start asking about it but realized they were still in a crowded cafete- hall.

She still used words from the normal world without thinking about it. In fact she still thought of the muggle world as normal. It had only really been 2 months but she wanted to stop thinking of it like that.

"Is it true... there's candies that can burn through your tongue" She quietly asked. She'd heard someone talking about that in the halls. Something about 'acid popsicles'. She really hoped she wouldn't accidentally eat one of them. She didn't want a hole in her tongue.

When Tracey answered her next question she looked up at her. Her plate was empty. She was a little disappointed that Tracey didn't come up with anything more than anyone she'd asked about why she couldn't go to the forbidden forest. She understood it was dangerous, but she wanted to know why. Sure there were creatures in there, but what were the creatures? She looked back down at her empty plate and sighed.

"I'm stuffed....."

OOC Notes: Agh! I'm so sorry for how long this took. A combination of finals, major assignments, spelling bee, writing most of the rp only to have it reload, and general laziness caused it to take forever.......

The rest of Tracey's day was actually turning out to be pretty good! In the morning she was excited and nervous about her second offical duel. When she woke up in the hospital wing, she wasn't so happy, and as she was heading to the Great Hall, she had met Silva. Tracey was glad to be her mentor and tell her as much information as she could. Tracey was only at Hogwarts for two years, so she doesn't know that much, not as much as the older students do.

Since Tracey had finished her high pile of food, when the dessert appeared, she took a plastic plate and piled up a whole bunch of desserts. She basically took one of each dessert and placed another plastic plate ontop, since she was going to take all the desserts with her back to her dorm.

When she had finished, she heard Silva asked if there were any candies that could burn a whole in your tongue. Tracey nodded her head before saying,
"Yes, there's only one that I know of. It's called an Acid Pop. It's a neonish green color. I believe it's beside the blood pops which are a dark red color,"

When Tracey had went to Hogsmeade, she and Mateo had sneaked into Honeydukes and bought a whole bunch of candy. She even bought an Acid and blood pop, but she hasn't tried them yet. Hearing Silva says she's stuffed, Tracey said,
"Me too. Shall we head back to the common room?"
