She should've wrote something like, ' next week ' or ' under the bright sun of ( insert date here )' . She would've had more time to gather her thoughts and re think her decisions.

But no, she just didn't want to write longer on her last letter with such shaky hands. The best she could do was walk slowly towards her destination, with each step comes with more regrets.

It wasn't that she was dreading to see who White Rose was, it was more like she didn't mind waiting longer. Okay, maybe she was a bit scared but it was just her lack of self esteem talking. What if White Rose hated her before this? What if what if's what if's just spiralling around her head she didn't even noticed that she had indeed arrived her destination.

" ahh..." she didn't know what to say. How do you describe this feeling? She could probably compare it to seeing an online friend for the first time. " Erm...hello~ " she greeted with an awkward wave, holding back a great urge to smack herself.

Where was her charming self when she needed it the most? That was the shyest greeting she had ever done in years and the real Fumiko would consider herself many things, but shy isn't one of them. She let out a fake cough , trying to compose herself.

" Ah..forgive for being lat- oh my you bought Hootwards! " the sudden surprise of seeing her favourite school owl jolted her out that awkward tension around her as she ran towards to owl perched on White Rose's arm. " Darn it, you never perched so quietly on my arm before " she complained, pouting immaturely with a small smile itching to let out a happy grin.

" Welp, you were right~ " she held up her arms as she did a full 360 degree spin, like when the tailors wanted to take her measurements. " One an only, limited edition and extremely pricey Tachibana Fumiko~ pleased to meet you, again. " she chuckled as she gave White Rose a short bow.

She noticed the black mask covering White Roses face and gave her a questioning frown. " Okay, that's not fair I came her all clean and stuff while you come here with a mask? Insulted. I'm i n s u l t e d " she pretended to be pissed and crossed her arms, her eyes finding interest in the tree a few feet from her left.

It's not that the mask did much anyway. She could see White Rose's jet black hair that shone a few golden strands, matching the golden specks in her eye. At this point, Fumiko was confident that the person before her is indeed, Min-seo.

Not even her mask concealed even a bit of her inhuman beauty.

" So, what are you gonna do about it, White Rose. Or should I call you Kim Min-seo , now~ ?" she teased, a genuine smile on her face.

Min-seo turned around to meet the eyes of Fumiko Tachibana. It seems like she was correct. "So I was correct," she said with a smile to herself. Min waved shyly. She seemed a bit awkward, so Min felt awkward as well. She laughed as she ran up to Hootwards who was on her head now. Min-seo laughed. "Really? He's always done this for me, aren't you a good boy Hootwards?" she asked, cooing to him. He hooted proudly and nuzzled her. She smiled. She'd met Fumiko before, at the Lake Party that Maggie had held, and Fumiko was really kind. She was really uncomfortable that night, so Fumiko talked to her and made sure she felt comfortable. Min-seo clapped as Fumiko spun in a circle. "I was correct. Ha, I'm always correct," she said, flipping her hair over her shoulder.
Hey, look, you didn't know who I was yet, so I decided just to wear a mask and be a dramatic boi because that's how I am, please forgive me," she said with a cheeky grin and bowed on her knees.
Min-seo chuckled and took off the mask. Her porcelain face was revealed in all it's glory. Her brown eyes with golden specks, her long black hair, and her plump pink lips. "Was it that obvious?" she said, holding her mask in her delicate hands.

"I was correct. Ha, I'm always correct," she said, flipping her hair over her shoulder.

" oHoO~ Are you now?" she challenged, sending a questioning look followed by a small amusing smile. " Well, I don't believe just this is enough to prove that. We should really hang out more to see if your claim is indeed true. Doubt it ever is though~ " . she mused, sending a confident grin towards Min-seo.

Anyone who knew Fumiko enough would know this if directly translated, it just meant she wanted to hang out more. This was a huge step with her lack of trust towards new people.

More than a quarter of her was screaming at her, scolded and reminded her what happened the last time she trusted people too easily, she couldn't fight off the safe feelings she felt when being around Min-seo, who see had seen in a whole new different light than the last time she saw her.

." Hey, look, you didn't know who I was yet, so I decided just to wear a mask and be a dramatic boi because that's how I am, please forgive me,"

Fumiko laughed at her amusing retort, leaving a rare smile formed on her face. Fumiko is always seen smiling, the smile she wore deceived countless of others with the forged warmth underneath them but despite this, her natural smile, was by far the best smile could ever wear.

She scoffed at Min-seo's question and gave Hootwards a knowing look. " Can you believe this girl? "

She's astounded her that someone was so unaware of their own beauty. Then again, Min-seo did mention Fumiko was the first to compliment here eyes, which to this day she suspected to be a lie. But after their talk through letters, she got guesses that she had a few issues with self-esteem but decided not to think over it too much.

Min-seo smiled and laughed. "Yes. Yes I am. And is that an invitation to hang out with you, Fumiko Tachibana? And try me," She asked with a smirk on her face. She liked this girl. Not that she didn't already, she just began to like her more and more. She made her laugh, smile, and always seemed to cheer her up, like a true friend. Min-seo lacked a lot of those in her childhood, except for Isaiah, the only true friend she had before Hogwarts.

Min-seo didn't know why she was so nervous about seeing Fumiko in the first place. The girl was obviously so nice and caring and such. Though, she was scared that she'd be disappointed to see it was just her, a shy little 11 soon to be 12 year old who was naive, confused, aloof, and scared of the world and the burden on her shoulders.

She laughed along with her and put the mask back on, masking the beauty that was Kim Min-seo. "Plus, I like it. I'm spooky," she said, flipping up her black hood from her sweatshirt. Now she looked like a serial killer, muahahaha, a very small one at that, and obviously she wasn't scary, she was way to petite to be.

She playfully scoffed at Min-seo's claim. Though it was true, Fumiko would rather touch a frog than admit it. " Hah, pleassee. I just think your claim is too ridiculous it needs a proper experiment backing it up~ " she returned her new friend's smirk with her own, though it looked slightly off on Fumiko's adorable face. " Breakfast, tomorrow. Don't be late "

Was is possible to be this happy? It scarred her how joyous she felt at this moment. It painfully remineded her of the times when she was still in contact with her toxic ex-friends. But, she somehow wanted to feel more, like explore how far this joy could go. Like she wanted more proof that Min-seo was her friend. Like all the exchanged letter's, gifts, and secrets weren't enough.

Fumiko...was getting more greedy.

She laughed at Min-seo's attempt of being scary. " Yes yes as scary and as panda " she teased, carefully taking the golden mask off Min-seo's glass like face and placed it on her own. " I bet I could be scarier than you~ " she challenged.

Now, she was very adorable, no one can object to that. And she was quite short compared to Min-seo so before she could laugh at her claim, the hint of mischievousness in her eyes disappears the next second.

Her previous smile dropped as fast as the carefree aura around her, replaced with some sort of eerie one. Standing as still as a statue, she tiled her head with eyes unblinking and dead. She added a low dark chuckle that might as well sent shivers to her own body, leaving a mad like grin , her eyes never leaving Min-seo's.

" Okaaayyyyy~ how was that~ " she asked with the a childish grin as she took the mask off. She was satisfied with Hootward's reaction to her scary side. Perhaps he was just easily spooked but no matter what Fumiko isss a good actor, if she can say so herself.

"Oh please, I know I'm correct," she said, flipping her hair over her shoulder. So, breakfast with Fumiko? Sounded nice. "I'll be there, don't worry," she said, her smile bigger. She was surprised that Fumiko even cared about hanging out with her. She wasn't the best person to be around, at least that's what she thought. She hoped that she wouldn't turn out to be like those friends that hurt her all those years ago. The girl was scared. Very scared, to open up to people too much, because then they would make use of the girl. Fumiko didn't seem like the person to do that though, so she wasn't too scared.

"I am very scary. Pandas can attack you, you know." she said. She was short at 4'6, so she wasn't scary, but she was scary when mad. She wasn't at the moment though, so she couldn't. She liked scary things, so when Fumiko tried, she was happy but afraid. She took back the mask and grinned. "Scary!" she said, her eyes bright. That was cool! She never wanted to get on her bad side though, she'd rather not get kidnapped, haha.

She laid down on the grass. "I wonder what would've happened if I hadn't found the letter," she said quietly.

She didn't like to think of ' what if's '. That sort of wondering had left reminded her of nothing but memories better buried. ' What if : she was the perfect child ' , ' What if : her family never left her ' , ' What if : she still lived with her parents '.

After numerous times crying over these things, she learned eventually that it was an utter waste of time to be thinking of the events that already happened and the event's that never happened. So it was a bit of a quick heart stab when Min-seo asked that question.

Min-seo went through a lot, and it wasn't surprising that her past plagued her mind sometimes. Questioning every good thing that happened to her was something Fumiko could relate to very well and even though Fumiko had to struggle alone, she wanted to be there for Min-seo. Her friend.

She softly lay on the grass next to her, watching how the sky is mixed with colours of light blue,with hints of orange and pink, signalling it was almost the end of the day. " Well logically, I wouldn't be able to see such an amazing personality behind that shy shit you have going on " she laughed, only partly joking.

" Honestly, I don't care, about thinking what happens if we never met. My life would be very dull without you, now that you're in it " Colourful. That's what she felt. Like the sky she was seeing right now.

" So, instead of imagining what would've happened, how about we imagine the wonderous things we'll do now that we're friends. I've never had a friend as interesting as you, Kim. So I'm really looking forward to the future of our friendship. " she sat up and stared at Min-seo with a stern gaze.

" And damn you lady, you might as well freeze hell if you could make me look forward to the future. That never happened before you know! " she still had a stern face that looked like it was trying hard not to smile.

Min-seo smiled as she let her long hair spread around her, not caring what she'd get in it at this point. She giggled as she looked at the sun through the scattered clouds, bringing a finger up to trace them. She was happy. Very very happy. She hadn't been this happy in a long time. Someone actually maybe cared about her. Maybe. Hopefully. But then again, maybe she didn't. She didn't want to think about that though, rather stay naive. She turned her head to the side to look at Fumiko.
"Hey, look, I wish I wasn't shy. Everything would be ten times easier. Make that 20." she said with a small huff. She really hated her shyness. Why was everything so difficult fr her when it came to that...

Min-seo smiled slightly at the compliment. "Same here. I'm really glad I met you, Fumiko Tachibana, and I'm looking forward to spending more time with you," she said, turning her whole body to face her so her neck didn't die. She giggled at Fumiko's stern look. "I know, I have that effect on people," she tried to flip her hair but it didn't really work, considering she was laying down. She scrunched up her nose with a smile.
