A needed distraction. Open

Elizabeth tried to slow her crying as she talked. She started by saying "So before I went here I went to a public school and one day a group of boys started spreading rumors about her. I confronted the boys and they cornered me after school in an empty alley. Then the leader of the group started making fun of me and my mom who had died earlier that year. I got mad and garbage flew out hitting all of the boys but missing me. This was unnatural and was also the first time I displayed my first sign of magic. Well today in the hallway I picked up my books and a group of slytherin boys backed me into an empty classroom and I was surprised to see that leader of the group of boys that attacked me in the alley appeared in the front of the group. He told me how I made a fool out of him and then he called me a mudblood. Then he punched me three times in the face, one in the eye and two in the nose. Then he said if I told anyone that it would be much worse next time." Elizabeth started crying again and stated "I shouldn't have told you that, please don't tell anyone I don't want it to happen again." Elizabeth looked at the girl hopefully.

Elizabeth poured out everything to her, and Luna was a bit stunned. "I shouldn't have told you that, please don't tell anyone I don't want it to happen again." Eliza said finally, staring hopefully at Luna.
"I promise I will not tell anyone else! I also don't want something like this to happen to you again. The boy got what he deserved back then for talking to and about you like that. Don't worry about telling me about this, it was the right thing to do. Whenever you find yourself in a hard place, the best thing to do is to let out your feelings so that you can pick yourself up and move forward. We might not be able to tell anyone else about this, but that does not mean we will just sit around and do nothing! We can't let them think we're weak! We need to fight back and prove to those boys that we're not afraid of them! Alyssa, Elizabeth, what do you say? Will you rise up to the challenge of taking down those horrible bullies?"
Luna raised her fist in a sign of determination. She'd never thought that she would ever find herself giving an inspirational speech, but here she was.

Elizabeth looked up and smiled. "I am so in but I think I don't think I look very normal right now", she said pointing to her face. Elizabeth was moved by what Luna had said and she definitely wanted to get those boys back. "But how?", she thought. Elizabeth was going through all of the curses she knew but those wouldn't work because he had a group of other people by his side at all times. An idea suddenly popped into her head. "I have an idea" She said. "How about we write fake love letters anonymously and lure him away from his friends. Then that's when you guys come in. One of you will meet up with him in a classroom where I will be waiting then we curse him with Anteoculatia which will make him grow antlers. We then call all his friends in and tell them that he messed up his curse that was aiming for us and backfired. This would make him look like a complete fool. He will also get in trouble for "Trying" to jinx us. He will be made the laughing stock of the school and if the of us girls participate then the teacher will believe us not him." Elizabeth smiled wickedly when she finished. "We should also invite the ravenclaw girl to help us."

Elizabeth was proposing to make the boy seem like a fool again. Luna was a bit uncertain. She looked up, worried, "Well...Eliza, the thing is...as much as I agree we should make sure those boys get what they deserve, I don't think that revenge is the way to go. I know I said we need to get back at them somehow. But doing something to directly harm them is no way to go. We should do something more...civil? Retaliation makes us just as bad as them. Even if we do make him look bad and get our revenge, whose to say he won't come after you again? He came for you today because you made a fool of him all those years ago, wouldn't this be the same situation? I know you're mad at him and I'm sorry, but I propose we do something different. Let's go ask the Ravenclaw girl if she has any ideas! Alyssa, you can input some ideas as well!"
Luna looked deeply into Eliza's eyes, hoping that she'd get through to her. Luna knew good and well what it's like to be treated unfairly, and how much it hurts. But she couldn't stand for harming someone in such a bad way, even if they were a terrible person.

Fortunately, Eliza agreed with her plan and they decided to put together a club named Injustice. Unfortunately, Luna was appointed as the one who would talk to the Ravenclaw girl. Luna's mind was racing because of all of the drama and events that had happened in such a short amount of time. To be honest, Luna only expected that she'd come to the library and check out a book, maybe make a few friends along the way. But here she was, entangled in some dispute between a fellow student and some mean bullies. Despite all this, Luna was determined to help out in any way she could, she was a good person like that. Luna took a deep breath and walked up to the girl. "Hello! I'm so sorry to bother you, but we need your help with something. The thing is... my friend here, Elizabeth, is being bullied by this group of Slytherin boys, and we would like to recruit you into our club. We've named the club "Injustice" because of the injustice the boys did to her. Would you like to join us to put the boys back in their place?"
Luna wasn't quite sure that she could convince anyone to join the group. It wasn't that she didn't want anyone to, it was just that she wasn't much of a persuasive person at all. How could she, a girl who could barely talk to anyone in the past, be able to recruit people into a newly-made group? Or even make any friends? Luna waited for the girl to answer.

Elizabeth was excited as Luna had just talked to the ravenclaw girl. All of a sudden a small scared looking hufflepuff student rushed over and gave Elizabeth a letter. The letter read in sloppy handwriting "To Elizabeth Smith,
Congratulations you have gotten past our forces and have backup almost wherever you go. We know you are planning something and we have already gotten a couple suspicious looks by the Order of the Dawn who are looking for us. If you don't attack us then we won't attack you. We don't want any trouble and I think you have been beaten up enough.
-Slytherin attackers"
Elizabeth without looking up tapped Luna multiple times in the arm and without waiting for a response said 'You need to look at this!" Elizabeth re read the letter to make sure she wasn't dreaming. Sure enough the Slytherin boys had left and she was all by herself with her friends. For the first time all year she finally found relief and joy in leaving the library alone. "They are to scared to attack me anymore since I have so many people on my side." Elizabeth looked at the letter again and handed Luna the letter for her to read. "I still think we should form a group and discuss attacks on other muggle borns and stop them. Just because I am not getting attacked anymore doesn't mean other people are not." Elizabeth looked at her friend and hoped that she would agree.

Elizabeth had received a letter from the Slytherin boys saying that they weren't going to attack her because she had banded together enough people to stop them. Luna wasn't to sure about it though, "That's a great idea Eliza! I fully support you with your idea. But I think that you still need to watch out for those boys. Who knows what they might do? That letter could be a trick to make you think that they're not up to no good anymore. They could actually be planning on attack you again and we wouldn't even know it! I suggest you keep on your toes, have your eyes peeled and have your guard up, just in case. I'm not saying you should be paranoid, but you should be careful, okay? In the meantime, let's find some more recruits! Let's scout out to find some more bully victims that we can help and convince to join our little club! Let's start in the Great Hall, there's bound to be a lot of people there! Let's also look in our house common rooms, there could be people in need of our help just under our noses! Oh! One more thing Eliza, do you want to try the talking this time?"

Luna was fully supporting Eliza but told her she still needed to watch her back. "Ya it does seem a little sketchy what if they are just trying to lure me out alone?" Elizabeth thought about this "How about I make a schedule about when the busiest times are in the hallways then they can't attack me." Elizabeth had never thought of this idea but now it seemed pure genius. She looked around and no sign of a slytherin boy was there. Elizabeth knew this could be a trick but she still wanted to go and recruit more bully victims. "Ok, let's go to the great hall first, then our common rooms/dorms, and also keep an eye out in the classroom for anybody being picked on. Also yes I will do the talking." Elizabeth pondered her ideas for a moment and looked around once again. Now she was being paranoid. She turned back around and got up to look for another book. She scanned the bookshelves and finally found one that would suit her needs. A book to start secret organizations. She skimmed the first pages and it seemed pretty accurate. She went up to the librarian's desk and checked the book out. She came back set the book down and went over to the Ravenclaw girl. "Hi my name is Elizabeth but you can call me Eliza. I am starting a group to prevent bullying do you want in?" Elizabeth thought maybe she was being a little to straight forward but she didn't have much time.

Alyssa had shuffled off into the shelves, one of the girls who came to sit by her had left the library. She wondered why, she had said nothing to the other girls since her focus was half on her work. She decided to quickly grab one of the Potions books that she would need for her next piece of homework.

She was only gone a few minutes, not hardly enough to have missed much from the girl, she decided that she would apologize for leaving without saying anything, she was like that, she had learned how deal with not being noticed, and she acted accordingly.

A soft from had formed on her face when she noticed that Elizabeth had returned to the library, she was deep in conversation with Luna, but she did not seem like her normal self. As she came closer she realized that something had happened to Elizabeth, she seemed bruised, and her eyes were still puffy from crying. She quickly walked over, book in hand.

"What happened to you?" she asked concerned. She could not have been gone for that long, this seemed impossible, who would do this to a first year student? She scolded herself for leaving. It seemed like the girl was in terrible shape, she did not like to see anyone get hurt, she also did not accept that someone bullied her. She did not seem like she was a person who would start a fight. She seemed soft and maybe a bit too kind.

Elizabeth looked up at alyssa who had just asked her what happened. Elizabeth took a deep breath and said "Well I went to pick up my book but was cornered by a group of Slytherin boys who pushed me in a empty classroom and locked the door. Then a guy stepped forward who was my bully back in muggle school and he was very angry and called me things like mudblood and threatened me and beat me up. Then they lefty me in the classroom and I came back here to tell you guys but noticed you were gone so I just told Luna. But now they just sent me a letter saying that they surrender because they are scared that they will get beat up so now we are discussing weather it is a trap or not. But I am in the middle because I do have many people around me who have already threatened or beat the boys up. But this could also be a plan where they think I will go places by myself and then they will attack. I think it could be either one since they were very desperate earlier but also I do have people beating them up in defense of me. What do you think Alyssa?"
