He'd thought about it after leaving the Pumpkin Destruction errand as to whether to make cookies or pies. Eventually, Kim had decided upon cookies as they were easily transportable via owl parcels to others. He'd packaged up the pumpkin cookies he'd made with the leftover goop from the errand and headed up to the owlery with three parcels.
Writing down the name 'Sere Nade' on one of them, Kim approached the resting owls. He tried not to get too close to the edge of the tower because just looking outside made him feel nervous. But at least he'd done all the parcels together, so he'd only have to be there one time. When Sere unwrapped the parcel she would find a note in the bundle.
