Personality

Raya usually keeps to herself, she's quiet and doesn't like to get in trouble. She has autism, and although it's not so severe as to disrupt her learning, she often has trouble making friends with others due to her blunt nature. Although she seems quite antisocial at first, she's actually quite talkative and loves her close friends dearly.
She loves animals, specifically cats, dearly, and feels a close connection to them, often being found in the forest trying to get them to trust her. She's quite excited for Care of Magical Creatures, and hopefully being able to better befriend them. (if she were to transform into any animal forever, she would become a calico cat)

Raya has a a slim build, and longer than average (for her height) legs. She has medium length black hair, with pink highlights (though sometimes she decides to randomly switch it up to purple or red). Her light brown eyes have darker flecks in them, and she has an intense gaze, often not noticing when she's accidentally glaring at people or staring too hard, which can make her seem a little off putting, or even scary to some despite her small stature.
Her clothing style is ever changing, and at home she has an extensive wardrobe, though one style she will always come back to is a comfy hoodie and jeans.

Mother / Diana Hall: ❧ Age: 33 ❧ Birthday: March 25th, 1991 ❧ Height: 6'2 ❧ Occupation(s): Tinkerer Diana has long wavy black hair, though she often dyes it a lighter brown, dark brown eyes, and sharp features. She's long and slim, with a soft voice. Raya inherited many of Diana's traits, but her hair is much straighter, and less of a pure black than hers, and so far, she's not growing as fast as her mother. Diana is often out working, so she Raya don't have a very close relationship, but Raya looks up to her mother dearly, hoping to be as multifaceted in skills as she is. Though she's busy, Diana is still always willing to aid Raya with any issues she has, with projects, school work, or friendships. -- Father / Leo Hall: ❧ Age: 35 ❧ Birthday: December 12th, 1989 ❧ Height: 5'7 ❧ Occupation(s): Inventor and Tinkerer - -- Leo has shoulder length brown hair and greyish green eyes. He has nimble hands on account of his line of work, and also plays the piano. Raya inherits much of his personality, they're both quiet shy and soft-spoken, and they also both love nature. Leo runs a small shop from their home, where he fixes magical objects for his clients. Since Leo is home far more often, he's able to spend more time with Raya, and as such as a much closer relationship with her.

Backstory

Raya is quite close both with her mother and father, but more so her father. She's quite bright and loves to tinker with her father, who works as a tinkerer, fixing magical objects and coming up with new inventions. Her mother is a broadcaster, and works on the radio and sometimes as an actress in plays. Her family is not incredibly rich as her father is the youngest of 5, but they are decently well off, and live in a small town in England.
Since her father and mother both work, they weren't able to home school her like most wizards are before they go to Hogwarts, they instead sent her to a Young Wizards Daycare/Academy which was similar to a muggle elementary school wherein she learned her basic math, reading/writing, and science skills needed for her time in Hogwarts.
She always felt disconnected from her peers at the daycare, often opting to watch games from the sidelines or wander off by herself (which her teachers did not appreciate). Due to nudges from her teachers due to her behavior at the daycare, her parents eventually took her to see a psychologist, who diagnosed her with autism.
The forest was a comforting place for her, and she would often adventure in there to play, or just sit in relax with the sounds of the animals around her. She felt as though she could feel the magic flowing through the trees, even though she couldn't harness that power yet.

First Instance of Magic

Raya's first instance with magic was when she was seven, and playing in the woods behind her house. As she was running about, a group of deer suddenly ran towards her, running away from a fox behind them. In her panic, squeezed her eyes shut and braced for the impact of the deer hitting her, but instead when she opened her eyes she found herself hovering just a hair above the deer. She was terrified looking down on them, her body brushing against their antlers and their fur as they jumped about, after a moment of waving her arms and legs about in panic she fell to the ground. Luckily, since she only a foot or two off the ground, she was not majorly injured from the fall and was able to limp home, with only some small cuts on her leg from a rock she fell on top of.
