"That would be so much fun to get to train with your friend. He's probably a lot better than me. Maybe he could actually teach me a few things. That's really cool that you are a Duelist! I don't think I've met any Duelists yet!" Avery smiled. She was really enjoying getting to know Tracey. "Sounds good. We can do this!" Avery smiled again. She was super excited to work on this assignment, since this subject was actually fun for her! She couldn't wait to see what they would figure out together next! Avery glanced over at the paper again as Tracey added more to her answers. She thought hard about the answer. This was something that she hadn't learned yet, but she did know about atoms. Hopefully Avery's knowledge of atoms and Tracey's knowledge of what she learned in class would help them puzzle out this question too! "For the next question, maybe it's important because atoms are what make up everything, so when you don't pay attention to them, then the Transformation spell won't go correctly." Avery said. She wondered if that was the correct answer or not. She hoped it was, but just in case, she continued to wrack her brain for everything she knew about atoms. She knew that learning about atoms would actually become useful someday!

Avery nodded and smiled at Tracey talking about her owling her friend. She made a mental note that the next time she went to the owlery, she would have to send him a letter about Quidditch. She would love to learn more about the sport, and what she could do to get better! Avery smiled and cheered, "We've got this! We're halfway there! We can do it!" Avery hoped that her pep talk wasn't too much. She was a bit embarrassed about it, but she didn't want the older girl to notice, so she focused back in on the assignment. "Yeah. When something is transformed, I believe that some atoms may be gained or lost depending on the size of the thing you are transforming." Avery said. Trying to think back to her muggle science classes she had taken as a child. Avery continued to think as Tracey wrote down the answer and stuff in her notes. She wanted to make sure to remember as much as she could about atoms, and how they changed. She couldn't quite remember everything, but she hoped that she knew enough to help Tracey out. Avery was still excited. She was actually helping an older student with something she had never learned! Well, there's always a first time for everything!

Avery looked up when she realized Tracey had asked her a question. She thought about it for a moment. She had never even thought about how much she was enjoying Hogwarts. It was nice to finally get to talk to people about magic instead of being afraid of getting caught for who she really was. "Well, so far, I've actually really enjoyed it. It's so different to how I was living before. Instead of having to hide who I really am, I can finally be myself and talk about magic instead of trying to cover up my mistakes. I've also made some pretty good friends. Including you!" Avery smiled at the older girl. "What has been your favorite part of Hogwarts so far?" Avery asked. Hoping that she wasn't distracting Tracey too much from her homework. But sometimes, people need distractions in order to focus more on something they are doing. Avery had learned that the hard way. Avery glanced at the paper again. She thought that the question was pretty much answered. She hoped that Tracey agreed. If she wanted to add more to the question, Avery was sure she could probably wrack her brain for more information on atoms.

Avery nodded in understanding. She also loved the outdoors of Hogwarts. She always felt so free, and it always reminded her of home. A home that she dearly missed. She still remembered the feeling that she always had when she was there. A sense of freedom instead of the constant oppression of hiding her secret. That she could do real magic. Not the fake muggle kind of magic. "I also love the outside of Hogwarts. It reminds me of my real home in Wales. Whenever I would visit my grandparents, they used to let me and my cousin, Dylan, roam free in their woods since it was fenced in and safer than most places." Avery understood why Tracey thought the Hospital Wing was her least favorite place. It could be somewhere Avery would end up a lot when she became a Quidditch player. She shivered at the thought. That was the part she was least excited for. Injuries. At least the nurse was nice! "Are you ready to continue our treasure hunt?" Avery asked, hoping that she wasn't getting too eager. She was becoming very interested in this work, and she really was enjoying getting to know Tracey more. Maybe she would finally have someone to talk to about her past. But, first things first, Tracey's homework had to be done.

Avery shook her head when Tracey asked if her cousin went to Hogwarts. "Unfortunately he doesn't come here. I'm actually not sure where he is right now. He could be anywhere in the world, or right here, and I wouldn't know it. My mother made sure of it when she cut off all contact with her side of the family." "I believe we were on question 4. I think you were almost finished with it. It looks good to me." Avery said as she glanced at the paper. Avery still couldn't believe that she was able to help and older student with her homework. She guessed that it was probably because of her father. He was very passionate about Avery learning as much about science as she wanted, and she loved science. That's probably why she knew so much about it. Avery couldn't wait to see what the rest of this study time would end up. She was having a lot of fun, and she also hoped Tracey was having fun. Even though the older girl didn't really like doing Transfiguration homework. Avery could tell why she didn't like it. Transfiguration was hard. Especially when science isn't your favorite subject.
