About the summer thread, I think June would be great! Probably either late May or in June would work out best for me, but I have to check my school schedule to be sure. July is almost certainly not going to work out for me though, neither is august. We can talk about the specific date in a few months either way, and IC Lya and Av should have a strong relationship by then!
So I was thinking either Ilvermorny or Beauxbâtons (probably Ilvermorny though), but I need to read the full lore of both schools first. As Lyanna has traveled often, it would be logical if he would be her best friend because they visited where he lives for four months when Lyanna was around 9 years old and have written each other ever since. They also visited later, and they're parents are good friends with Lyanna's parents too, so the two families are kinda like family.
