The Order of the Dawn Open
Elizabeth sat in shock as a member of the group stood up and punched the slytherin boy. When the slytherin boy left Elizabeth was invited by the group to sit down. What looked like the leader of the group started questioning her. "I don't know his name nor his face. I also have no idea where they would take me but last time it was an empty classroom." She then heard the Slytherin girl say “Nice to meet you Lark, and hey Elizabeth, decided to get some action within the first few weeks upon arriving?”. Elizabeth laughed and replied with "Nah but the only reason this is happening is because the leader sure holds a big grudge." Elizabeth then said "Oh it's ok that you guys don't want to join but thank you so much for helping me out." Elizabeth looked over her shoulder and it seemed like the library was mostly empty. "I also don't think they are going to bother me much again now that I know people who can throw a good punch." Then she thought for a moment before saying "For Ravenclaws you guys are very brave. Oh and Slytherin." Elizabeth wasn't annoyed at all about them not joining her group but knew they would help if anyone was in trouble. "Any other questions you have for me?"

It all happened so suddenly, the girl walking into their groop to try and recruit the Order into her own club, and the Slytherin boy coming in right after her.

Elzabeth stood up, ready to take action if needed. Not many people would peg her as a fighter thanks to her small height but that hadn't stopped her before. Something fierce laid behind Elzabeth friendly attitude and smiles. Let's just say the last girl Elzabeth had gotten in a fight in came out looking worse.

As the Slytherin boy started to tug on the young girl's arm, Elzabeth threw him a warning look, feeling that anger course through her veins.
"STOP! She doesn't have to go anywhere she doesn't want to go... so just relax or else we're going to have a serious problem, Yeah?"
Elzabeth was momentarily shocked at James outburst, but as he started to near the Slytherin boy, holding his hands out like he was trying to tame a wild animal, Elzabeth started to become more concerned for the redhead. She had said she was hurt in all these terrible ways, and yet it was still going on?

Charlotte stepped up, looking like she was ready to pound this guy, which Elzabeth wasn't opposed to if she were being honest.

Just as the thought left her head, Charlotte landed quite a powerful punch to the boy's jaw, earning a gasp from Elzabeth.

After the boy had left, Elzabeth made her way to the redhead. "Are you okay? Um, my names . . . Elzabeth too. You can call me Lizzy if it's easier." Elzabeth gave the redhead a small smile. She had gone by the nickname many times in muggle school, there had to be at least five Elizabeths where she was from, so she quickly learned it was better to go by the shortened version of the name.
"Hey, Elzabeth, decided to get some action within the first few days of arriving?"
Elzabeth smiled at Margo's words. "In a weird way, I think the action found me," Elzabeth answered honestly. She didn't know what she was getting into that night at the slumber party but she was happy she had met these people. Sure the whole Savannah thing probably happened because Elzabeth couldn't keep her mouth shut but when someones spouting so false, she just couldn't help herself.

Just then Elizabeth answered the question too, which caused Elzabeth (Me) to giggle. "Why dont we all just call me Lizzy, it'll help with the confusion." She directed the request towards the room of people, blushing a little.

Once the room had calmed down, she went back to her seat. "That went zero to a hundred in a matter of seconds." Elzabeth thought to herself.
“I bloody want to kiss you Charlotte.” he said, taking a seat himself, “That was amazing."
James words made Elzabeth smile, she looked back at Charlotte to see if she had reacted just in time for Gem to give her a playful nudge. "Oh, fun!" Elzabeth thought happily.

The Redhead took a seat, looking just as flustered as everyone else that this had happened so suddenly.
"I also don't think they are going to bother me much again now that I know people who can throw a good punch. For Ravenclaws, you guys are very brave. Oh and Slytherin. Any other questions you have for me?"
Elzabeth thought for a moment and finally turned to the girl. "How long has this been going on? Since the time you got here?" Elzabeth asked, drumming her fingers on the wood of the desk.

Elizabeth smiled when she heard that the other girl was named Elizabeth as well. The other Elizabeth said to call her Lizzie. "Well Lizzie, you can call me Eliza and I am sorry for bothering you all." Elizabeth smiled warmly and said "Well it hasn't been going on very long but they have been trying to catch me ever since they learned that I had told my other friends what had happened. But it seems I am always at the right place at the right time." Elizabeth was to happy at the prospect of meeting her new club later to bring justice. Elizabeth looked around at the library again making sure the boys weren't there. "Again so sorry for bothering you all as I know see you are a tight and loyal group and if I have any information then I will report back to you with it." Elizabeth smiled knowing that the boys weren't going to touch her with this group here as well as her other group. The hallways were crowded and Elizabeth knew they wouldn't try much with so many people watching. "Well see you guys." Elizabeth said happily and quickly walked out of the room listening to make sure no one was calling her name or wanted to talk to her.

“I bloody want to kiss you Charlotte.”
Charlotte was at a loss for words when she heard those words, and that certainly didn’t happen very often. She blushed and muttlered a small ‘thank you’, a small, lighthearted smile falling on her lips. She scoffed and pushed Gem to the side slightly, her smile growing slightly wider.
Grazing over her knuckles again, she looked over at the Slytherin girl sitting with them, frowning.
“I would never hurt James or any of my friends intentionally,” She took a sideways glance at her cousin, her smile returning slightly. “Other than Gem, of course.” Charlotte ruffled his hair, pulling him closer, kind of like a sideways hug... or as well as you could do one on a chair with armrests. This was one of the only times Charlotte had been able to make friends; she hadn’t been very succsessful in muggle school. In fact, she would normally be sitting by herself, laughing at anything she she found funny as she observed everything happening on the play ground. It made her feel quite lonely. Most people would consider her mental if they even saw her, but she was a student that often went unnoticed- until this year.

Charlotte was barely listening to what was going on between Lizzie and Eliza, until Eliza left. She found that quite odd, but she wasn’t there to question it... but there was one thing that lingered in her mind.
“Was anyone else gonna question what grudge the “Leader” of these attacks has against her? Do yeh think it could be something bigger than being a muggle-born wizard?” She was probably overthinking things, it was often she did, but it make her think...

Interacting w/ .. well kinda sorta everyone just about.
A heat rose in Lark's cheeks as the Slytherin boy had approached and began tormenting the other newcomer, Elizabeth was her she learned later on. She seemed to be rather distressed to begin with and this Slytherin boy was only making it-

Pulling herself free from her own thoughts, Lark gaped at Charlotte as she clocked the boy right in the chin. Lark had never seen someone get hit.. and certainly never like that. Wanting to go check on the girl she felt frozen in time. 'What in the name of...' As shocked as she was at Charlotte's actions she was glad... The boy did deserve it if he had really been beating up this poor girl for utterly no reason.

Lark's eyes darted to the Slytherin girl hoping this wouldn't make her think twice about joining their group. They needed the numbers, plus this girl seemed very keen... and had a certain presence herself. Lark was sure she would be a valued friend and ally... Standing off to the side next to Margo, Lark watched as Charlotte took a seat.

“I bloody want to kiss you Charlotte.”

Lark wasn't sure why... but for some reason she felt as if someone sucker punched her in the gut. Now she knew how that Slytherin boy had felt. A flush rose up the girl's neck and spread to her cheeks. Looking instantly away from everyone she cleared her throat nervously. Why had that made her feel so sick? James HAD changed his thought the other day from 'you' to 'you guys.' Of course he had just been being nice to cheer her up. With shaky hands, Lark grabbed her journal and pulled the cord over her neck and across her chest before tucking it and the journal under her robes safely.

The girl's head was muddled and she felt as if she were underwater, her hearing muffled and garbled sounding as the others kept talking. It almost felt as if she were sitting in the back of her brain watching her body move without much consent.

"I uh.. I forgot I 'ave ta go." She muttered not caring if anyone heard. Lark just knew she had to get out of the suddenly claustrophobic space. Unsure if it was the feeling threatening her to wretch all over or if... well... she wasn't exactly sure. 'Maybe I just need to lay down..' Unable to pull herself free from this heavy feeling, her vision clouded as she left the group not looking at anyone and not turning back. Wobbling down the stairs, her legs feeling numb Lark made her way out of the Library and towards..where she wasn't sure. Just anywhere that wasn't the Library.

In friendships we are searching for a soulmate, someone who shares every facet of their passions and imagination.
The Order of the Dawn Open
James felt a sudden tension fill the air in the room like smoke. He felt his organs rearrange as his throw away comment caused an array of reactions around the room.

First, Margo, who seemed a little short with him. He wondered if she’d misread his comment as a suggestion that she was involved with the gang in any way. He wondered if Charlotte would hit him for what he’d said.

But as he turned his attention to the girl, he noticed a smile on her face as she sheepishly let out a small “thank you”. He felt the warmth of flushed cheeks. He hadn’t thought anything of the comment at first, he simply intended to convey exactly how impressed he was with his friend. But now, he’d only just noticed how pretty she was. She had a nice nose, he thought. He’d never noticed that a girl had a nice nose before. He wondered if this was normal for most boys at eleven. And then all at once he felt guilty, but he wasn’t entirely sure why.

It was at this point that Lark stood and left the room. He wondered if she’d become sick or maybe uncomfortable with the sudden outburst of violence. It was the first time he’d seen someone punched in a real fight, admittedly. He wondered if he should go after her but then decided against it. Perhaps she just needed a little bit of time alone.

But somewhere deep down, he felt there might be something more going on... but of course there wasn’t. There couldn’t have been, could there?

He sat down, lost in his thoughts. And then Charlotte spoke up...

“Well, it was all a bit weird, wasn’t it. She seemed to imply that one of these Slytherins hated her for a reason. We need to keep an eye on that girl, I feel like there must be more to her than she lets on.”

This thread is just making me feel so anxious because there are so many messages since my last response and I need to respond but I can't because there are too many messages to respond to all at once.
So uh
Just pretend Logan had to leave for some reason.
I'm sorry.

Elzabeth took her eyes off of Charlotte just in time to watch Lark get upset and mutter "I uh.. I forgot I 'ave ta go." before taking her things and leaving the library. It might have been Elzabeths imagination but she could have sworn she had seen tears in the girl's eyes.

Immediately Elzabeth looked around to see if anyone was going to go after her but they all looked stay put. "Well, she cant go and cry by herself." Elzabeth thought, gathering her things.

"Hey guys, I'm going to check on Lark and see if she needs anything. This a good meeting though, in case you guys talk about some other topics, don't forget to fill Lark and I in okay?" Elzabeth gathered her things and shoved them into her bookbag.

She was concerned and a little more focused on the way Lark had left the room, Elzabeth knew there was no point in sticking around if she was just going to get distracted by her train of thought anyway.

"I'll leave my notes here, maybe what little I took will help?" Elzabeth slid the parchment across the desk, hoisting her bag over her tiny shoulders. She hated that she was leaving so soon, most likely letting herself fall behind on the meeting, but she knew it was for a good reason.

Very quickly Elzabeth shuffled her way out of the space and quickly into the halls, trying to catch up to Lark as fast as she could.

Gem's mouth hung open slightly when Lark rushed out, his eyes big. He felt weird, how suddenly that entire incident happened. He shuffled with his fingers, twiddling his thumbs like they were suddenly the most interesting thing in the world. He could never truly understand girls, but he could empathize with them... he just didn't quite know why she bursted out like that. Was she overwhelmed with the violence? Was it something else? Maybe she just had to be sick, or use the bathroom...

He looked at James, then, who's expression had fallen as his did. It was a weird situation, but he had nothing to say that had any substance, or even anything helpful.
"Do you think she..." His voice fell quiet, a mumble like he hadn't even attempted to make himself be heard. He shut his mouth after that, letting the silence consume the table for a brief, awkward moment. It was when Elzabeth bursted up, coming along after Lark-- maybe he should've done that too, but he didn't think anything he'd say would even truly help, and... well, maybe she just needed to be alone. He looked back over at James and Charlotte, that same big-eyed, awkward stare he'd had for every uncomfortable situation.
"Should... we, ehm... should weh follow her?" he asked, his voice just barely above a whisper, as if he were worried it was the wrong question to ask. He didn't like the way the room felt all of a sudden, it was cold, not serious, just a childish mixture of weird feelings and inability to cope with them.

What really knocks me out is a book that, when you're all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it. That doesn't happen much, though.
