@Carson MillerDelilah looked around as she wandered aimlessly down the hall. She'd never had a good sense of direction and now - with all these moving stairs and pictures - she felt even more lost than ever before. Every corridor looked the same, every door looked the same. She turned her head left and right. All she was looking for was the library so she could do some research for charms. It didn't look like that would be happening anytime soon.
The blonde let out a sigh, trying to spot a fellow Ravenclaw that might be able to help her but, she soon realised, there was no one sporting the familiar blue robes. However, she did managed to spot a friendly-looking Hufflepuff boy, so she made her way over towards him.
"Excuse me?" She asked, looking up at the brunette boy wearing glasses. "Could you help me? I'm terrible with directions, and I can't find the library anywhere!" She exclaimed, sighing softly.
"I've been wandering around for ages, I must look terribly stupid." She said, not being able to hold in a small little laugh. She looked back up at the Hufflepuff. "I'm Delilah, by the way." She told him, offering him a smile.

The fact that Carson Miller was going to the library, voluntarily, was nothing short of a miracle. He’d never been one for, well, reading, and he’d always viewed it as a chore.
So, why on Earth was he going there now? The answer was simple: Quidditch. Carson had always loved sports and had been playing them ever since he was, well, ever since he could remember, really. So when he was introduced to Quidditch, he was immediately fascinated with the concept. He’d been planning on picking up a book about it at the library, too.
“Excuse me?” a voice asked, snapping Carson out of his thoughts. He looked to the speaker, having to tilt his head down slightly so he could meet eye-level with the short girl. She looked to be around a year younger than he was, with wavy blonde hair and blue eyes. “Could you help me? I’m terrible with directions, and I can’t find the library anywhere! the girl let out an exasperated huff, causing Carson to remember when he’d been in the same position last year.
“I’ve been wandering around for ages, I must look terribly stupid.” laughing a little as she said so, “I’m Delilah, by the way.” she smiled at him, causing him to grin back.
“It’s all good— I’m Carson.” he introduced himself, “I’m actually heading down to the library now, if you want to tag along.” he offered, trying to be as helpful as he could be.

@Carson MillerDelilah let out a small sigh of relief when the taller Hufflepuff agreed to bring her with him. "Oh, thank you!" She said, smiling up at him. "I've never been good with directions." She admitted, nodding her head as they walked.
She gave herself a minute to take in the Hufflepuff, Carson. He seemed to be older than her, possibly a year or two. He also seemed to know where he was going, which was good. She didn't understand how anyone could remember all the twists and turns of the magical school. It must take years to really memorise how to get from one room to another. At least she would now know how to get to the library, if she remembers that is.
"Are you a second year?" Delilah asked Carson after a minute or so of silence. She peered up at him, one of the disadvantages of being so short. She often had a pain in her neck from tilting it upwards to look at people, but she was sure they had the same issue from looking down at her.
As they neared the library, she suddenly remembered how she'd walked passed it at least twice. It was sometimes a wonder that she'd even ended up in Ravenclaw.
