Echoes of Adventure #1
Adventure Series :
Trophy Room
Date : Saturday, November 18th, 2023 Color code : Written | Thought | Said The weekend finally arrived in Hogwarts, but today is not just any Saturday, because it is a special day for little Laxius. He and Sere agree to meet at nine o'clock today, after which they will stroll to the trophy room together. With a wide smile on his face, Laxius is filled with enthusiasm for his first adventure with his new adventure companion. After having breakfast, He and the Gryffindor girl walk to the trophy room for their little adventure.
A few days ago, Laxius and Sere planned to embark on a small journey together in the trophy room. He has discussed with Sere about the time they can conduct the activity together. As Laxius has predicted, they ultimately agreed on the weekend, when she would have more leisure time. The day comes and goes in a blink of an eye, and now it's time for them to carry out their objectives.
While strolling, little Laxius says to his new adventure partner with genuine gratitude, "I am really grateful that you agree to explore the school with me, Sere." He wonders how she feels about this plan and asks, "How do you feel? Are you excited about what we are going to do?" Laxius also wants to question her about the spot he suggested ”Since we haven’t seen the trophy room, I am curious about what you guess it would look like. For me, it would be similar to a museum but focused on Hogwarts of course. Do you think that way as well?"
After climbing the stairs to the third floor, Laxius and Sere are now standing in front of a tough metal door. Outside of this room, he notices a plaque with something written on it “Trophy Room. No smudging”. “Good thing I don't bring any food right now” Laxius teases himself. He can't help but feel nervous because behind this door lies the beginning of their new activity. “This is the door. My first adventure with Sere will begin when we take a step across this metal door”. With a nervous smile on his lips, Laxius turns to Sere, looks into her eyes, and says, "Are you ready for our adventure?" He is now waiting for a response, hoping to open that seemingly heavy iron door along with her when she is ready.

Echoes of Adventure #1
Date : November 18th, 2023 Color code : Written|Thought|Said Another Saturday at Hogwarts. Earlier, Sere came out from behind The Fat Lady painting very close to breakfast time. The girl rushed down to the ground floor. Yes, Sere was -unusually- late and almost missed her breakfast because she was busy cleaning Buddy's cage. She spent a lot of time playing with her pet until breakfast time's came closer. It was almost a disaster because she had an appointment to fulfill. Luckily, she wasn't really late fot it.
After the conversation before the History of Magic class which was so exciting -much more exciting than the lesson itself- about a week ago, Sere and Laxius talked about their adventure plan again, and today the two of them will officially started their adventure, wandering around Hogwarts and looking for interesting things that could be found in such a magical and mysterious castle.
The two of them walked to the third floor, the location that had been set as the place to start their adventure: the Trophy Room. A simple but perfect place to find out the ins and outs of Hogwarts. Sere replied to Laxius' words, "I feel so excited too." with a flat face. Only her voice showed her 'excited' side. Typical Sere Nade.
"I thought the room would feel cold and dim with various displays such as trophies, medals, and photos to immortalize this school and students achievements." Sere also never entered the Trophy Room even though she got information that this place is unlocked and accessible around the clock.
Sere raised both eyebrows seeing Laxius -the introvert- is cleary so excited. Sere gave a very little smile while nodding, stating that she's ready to start the adventure behind the heavy iron-grate door. She moved her hand to push the entrance. Alright, let the spirit of adventurer echoing, starting from now on!

Echoes of Adventure #1

As they walked, Laxius observed that Sere displayed a less than enthusiastic expression to her answer. Laxius is left wondering if she was genuinely motivated to go on an adventure with him in light of this. However, this little ravenclaw boy is adamant that he won't let his first adventure partner end up dissatisfied going on this adventure with him. Regarding the trophy room guess he asked before, Laxius kind of aligns with her opinion as well, but there's only one way to find out what it really looks like.….
Now standing in front of the door, Laxius feels something inside of him whispering, calling for an adventure, echoes throughout his mind. After he receives her signal of readiness, they put their palm on the heavy metal door and push it together, The heavy door is making a creaking sound as it slowly pushed open. When Laxius opens his eyes, trying to see what's behind the door, a dazzling glimmer of light pierce into his eyes. He put his hand in front of his eyes in reflect to protect his eyes.
As the door opens, the trophy room becomes exposed to the outside world. Inside, the trophies stand proudly, each representing hard work and achievement, capturing the early light that floods through the lined-up large windows. The sun shines in, reflecting off the shiny golden metal surfaces and soaking the area with a warm, pleasant radiant glow. As soon as guests walk in, they are welcomed by a familiar scent of unique old high-quality wood and metal, which connects them to the legacy these trophies symbolize. There is no sound, but the room feels alive, charged with the spirit of previous victories, and in the still morning light, it's as if each trophy has a story to tell, whispering to the guests. In that peaceful morning, Laxius can feel the aura of the room, as if each trophy has a story to share, trying to whisper to him.
After adjusting his vision, Laxius is mesmerized by the stunning sight before him. "Whoa…" That is all he says unconsciously as he makes his first step into the room. As he walks, a curious boy turns his head to look around. He examined the pillars, walls, ceiling, and other part of the room. Several huge chandeliers hang from its ceiling, demonstrating its opulance even in its old age. The well-engraved centuries-old pillar is still standing firm, supporting the roof and the trophy shelves inside it. The beautiful environment of the chamber fills Laxius with awe, just as it did the first time he reached Hogwarts and saw this school's magnificent structure around two months before.
Looking at this site for the first time makes Laxius desperately need to share his excitement and says to his new friend “This room is awesome! I can't wait to explore them all”. He scanning around this area for a moment, and then he says, “Lucky us, apparently there is no one here, we are the first visitor. That means that we can explore at ease”. Since this is their first adventure together, Laxius allows her to take charge of this exploration mission ”There are so many things to explore here. Which part would you like to see first?”. By doing this, he hopes that he can reveal Sere’s real feelings toward this adventure.

Echoes of Adventure #1
Date : November 18th, 2023 Color code : Written|Thought|Said "Yeah, you're right... Whoa..." Sere imitated Laxius who was amazed at what was seen behind the metal door after it opened. Far beyond her expectations, the cold metal door held warmth behind it. Sere could see the main cause: that burning-low fireplace, emitting a warm atmosphere for the entire room. The distinctive aroma of wood mixed with old iron also entering Sere's sense, unexpectedly that wasn't really disturbing her. The quiet atmosphere was a plus point, as the Ravenclaw boy had said, there were only the two of them inside the room now. "Feels like I can stay here for hours."
Sere approached the fireplace to see the plaques and trophies that were neatly arranged nearby. "Look! There are old photos of the Quidditch players here, still in black and white." The British-Korean girl, who was born at the end of generation Z, was amazed by the fact that physical photos were all in black and white a long time ago. "The archive of House Cup winners are also here!" Sere saw that Gryffindor was the winner for the October -last month- House Cup and she secretly let out a little satisfied smile on her lips.
"Are there any record of duelling achievements here?" Sere, who was so curious, moved all around, forgetting the fact that Laxius was still in the same room as her. Even the question asked by the boy had not been answered until Sere realized it a few moments later, "Oh my Gosh, sorry! Where were we?"
Sere tapped her chin with her right index, thinking, "How about exploring this room respectively for a moment and then telling each other about the most interesting thing we found." The girl felt a little awkward because this was her first experience of actually 'adventuring' with someone. "I'll look around the crystals here and..." The girl directed her gaze around the room, "Aha! And also the photos over there!" Sere pointed to the portraits stuck on the wall. The picture of some old people who seemed influential and had important roles in Hogwarts. Maybe they were the previous Headmasters before Solomon Lear? Who knows, the only way is to approach those things and find it out by herself.Interacting with : @Laxius Remington

Echoes of Adventure #1
Date : November 9th, 2023 Color code : Written | Thought | Said Little Laxius notices his friend walking towards the fireplace at the opposite of the room and he quickly follows her there. He sees the black and white photos besides the trophies together with some small description on it. Being born in the era of advanced technology, this is one of the few times the Gryffindor boy sees black and white photos. He used to see them inside of some museums he had visited during the school trips. They were usually very blurry or had some parts damaged, it feels like a medal that they are still surviving the constant march of time. When Laxius considers these black and white photos as the remaining visuals of a distant past. When she mentioned the black and white photos, he thoughtfully asks “So… My guess is correct, right? This is a mini museum!” The little boy cannot hold his excitement after thinking he is indeed correct about the trophy room.
He noticed Sere was so locked into the trophies and photos, it seems like she is now inside her own world. Laxius now believes that she genuinely wants to join the duelling club in the near future as she suddenly mention it. Before he could even react, she cut him off with apologies. Deep down, Laxius is glad that his first adventure companion seems to enjoy this trip.
After Sere offered to split up, an interesting idea suddenly popped up from his mind. “If we are about to split up, how about we make it a little more challenging?” He smirks, seemingly hiding something exciting. “How about, each of us split up and after that, show to each other the most interesting or our favorite things during our exploration?” He rotates his head back and forth, scanning the entire room before saying “Since this room isn't so big, let’s say…. five minutes. How’s that sound?” Laxius moves his feet towards the other side “If you want to go over there, then I will explore this area with some armors and uniform displays.” He now wonders, what kind of interesting stuff he will face from this journey.

Echoes of Adventure #1
Date : November 18th, 2023 Color code : Written|Thought|Said Sere responded by raising both eyebrows when Laxius boasted himself for guessing the atmosphere in the Trophy Room quite accurately. I know, I already admitted that earlier. She blinked twice before responding at Laxius' other statement, "That's what I said. Let's find the most interesting thing---" Sere tilted her head, he was really lost in his own thoughts and didn't hear me, apparently. The girl then shrugged her shoulders, "Nevermind. Anyway, five minutes sounds good."
Sere returned her focus to the crystal and glass display. She had seen the awards displayed there; ranging from Quidditch trophies, House Cups, to academic and service achievements. Interesting, but not interesting enough. She didn't even know whose names were written on the awards. What people said was right: names and services, those were the only two things that would be remained from a person's existence. Luckily the photos around this room could help Sere find out and correlate some names with their faces. "Brutus Scrimgeour, author of The Beaters' Bible." She muttered.
Her eyes were still searching for the most interesting thing to show Laxius even though she actually didn't know exactly what's the measure of 'interesting', she wasn't really into anything related to history and everything displayed here looked like history. "Nothing interesti---Huh?" Sere narrowed her eyes, scanned once again at the Brutus Scrimgeour painting, found something familiar. She took out her wand, "Dissendium," The girl casted a spell to open up the secret passage. She's right!
"Hey Laxius, here!" Sere asked the Ravenclaw to come closer to her as she saw the paintings in front of her forming an open door. The crawling path was identical to her house's, located behind The Fat Lady painting. The girl immediately jumped up and crawled into it, signaling to Laxius, "Let's find out where it ends! Let's go!"
After crawling behind the hidden passageway for some while, the other end appeared. Sere pushed with her hand and moved out from behind one of the other paintings. Looking left and right, the curious girl realized something and exclaimed, "Oh! This is the fourth floor! That is Duelling Club." She found the Duelling Club there and something from that place looked like pulling her closer. She immediately thought about seeing what was inside the club.
It was fun to find the secret passageway. What a worthwhile adventure! Sere nodded in satisfaction, but there was something bothering her. Feels like forgetting something, but what? She shrugged, her steps continued towards the Duelling Club without realizing that the one she had forgotten behind was her friend, Laxius.Interacting with : @Laxius Remington
