Just a Bit of Quiet Reopened

Oh no I definitely want to be friends, Just make sure to come up with great ideas so far the only other ones invited formally are Alyssa warren and Luna starcatcher. Please invite others! Elizabeth thought this would be a perfectly good plan. "I have also just tried to recruit the order of the dawn but then a Slytherin boy tried attacking me again and they are pretty brave for ravenclaws and slytherins. The boy got punched in the face and insulted so..... But they were very focused and loyal to their group but I think I made a couple new friends. This group has to be big and smart. "We need people who are willing to fight if needed but we also need some to help trick the boys." Elizabeth giggled at the revenge that was going to happen in hopefully a matter of days. She started naming off names of people in her head but noticed she didn't know as many trustworthy people as she thought. She was deep in thought and looking around the library making sure no one was watching, no one seemed to be listening that she could see. She was still thinking about ideas without getting caught or in trouble.

Hey guys! Welcome to HiO. Please edit your posts to reflect the 200 word limit, or else a prefect might delete those!

Mari has the abilities of terrible presence and is a werewolf, which are used in this post.

Mari made her way down to the library, wondering what was going to meet her there. It had certainly been a long day, and she was tired, but during a brief encounter with her first year sister, Lucy, the Ravenclaw had mentioned that she had already studied a lot. Mari didn't particularly enjoy studying, but she didn't want her younger sister to overshadow her as a first year! All the terribly-presenced, little werewolf baby wanted to do was make her mummy proud.

So here she was, in the library, on one of the first days of the school year, being... a nerd. She walked into the Hogwarts library in a bitter mood, angry at her sister for ignoring her so much already, angry at the fact that she was studying when it was still quite nice outside. But heck, duty called and... was that four first years talking about bullies?

Mari had been involved in a fair amount of bullying situations, including a certain situation in which prefect Luna Choi made her scrub so many bedpans without gloves. Some may call it detention, but Mari still knew she didn't deserve such a horrible punishment as cleaning people's poop. Yuck. Mari wasn't sure why the prefect hadn't been fired yet; she was doing quite the horrible job, picking on poor, innocent Hufflepuffs.

Listening carefully in the shadows, Mari took in the story of the Slytherins bullying the redhead. Classic. Mari knew it was probably Luna Choi, unleashing her wrath on another horrible first year. When was that evil girl going to get fired?

Luckily the fancy-haired girl seemed to know what was best. Broken noses were always the answer when it came to bullying. Come to think of it, Mari wasn't sure why she hadn't tried that with Choi before. Maybe, if they met again, she would finally beat the girl how she deserved. She could probably take her on herself.

But then, red-head girl, who seemed to be a Gryffindor, said that she thought it would be a great idea to get a gang together. Heck. That was a great idea! She would take the idea as her own, of course. These girls didn't really know what it was like to be bullied, so they probably wouldn't be appropriate leaders of the girl gang. It definitely needed to be expanded to second years if they truly wanted to have power. But there was one issue...Mari's boyfriend @Lamik Fillestar would have to be invited, at least until she broke up with him. Then she would probably recruit that boy she met on the train, if she could continue to seduce him properly. Otherwise, yeah, no boys allowed. Boys are gross. If Mari didn't need them, she certainly wouldn't be trying to (vomit) kiss them in the first place.

Finally, Mari emerged from the shadows to approach the quartet and say, "This sounds like an excellent idea. But I think there's a few things that need to be changed. First of all, no offense, but you guys don't know the school like I do, so I should be the leader. Our meeting place will be the Abandoned Toilets - my Porcelain Palace. We will meet tomorrow, and I'll tell you what to do. The first rule? Beat the bullies. The second? Yeah, no boys allowed, except for my boyfriends, because I only pick useful boys to be my boyfriends. The third? Do not talk about Girl Gang.

"My name is Mari Haynes, by the way. I am pleased to help you with our mission to remove Hogwarts from the bullies."

Logan lowered her head as more and more people came to the table. She hadn't expected this many people to come over to the table. She also realized that she hadn't done anything against the bullies, or even thought about doing anything to go against the bullies. Everyone who had come to the table seemed like amazing people, but she honestly had no idea if she would actually be able to fit in with any of them. She also knew that she would never be able to go against someone else. Yeah, she sure could yell when the time was needed, but she didn't want to get in trouble with other houses so quickly in her first year of school.

Logan mumbled an almost silent "Hello," as she ducked her head down even more into her book. She wanted to make friends, but she didn't think it would be like this. She shifted a little bit, unsure about how this was going to work out. "I'm not so sure about this," Logan muttered, "what if we get into trouble." She was greatly concerned about the fact that she did not want to get in trouble so early in her school career. She was still finishing her homework as all of this was going on and she hoped she hadn't gotten distracted and messed up on the work.

Elizabeth was trying to discuss a plan when a different girl came in. She was proposing ideas and was going to get more group members. Elizabeth was very happy at the thought but then thought there was only one problem. Elizabeth thought that if the group she had just invited said yes then there would be more than just the boys this girl was talking about. Elizabeth decided to agree with this girl only if anyone was open to joining boys and girls alike. "Ok we will meet you at the abandoned toilets but we are all allowed to invite boys and girls as long as they are useful and trustworthy. But just know that I am the leader of this group and violence will now be our last resort. "We need to do something more civil or else we will be just like them." Elizabeth turned to her other friend and smiled. "Also we will try to do something that will throw a loophole in the rules and try our best not to get in trouble." Elizabeth felt like a natural born leader and was full of excitement at the fact at getting back at those bullies. "Also we want a mixture of all houses, but be careful when talking to slytherin boys, especially those in groups."

The pale Scottish lass got up and walked around the table to the quieter female before wrapping an, almost protective, arm around her, crouching slightly

"Logan, if you don't want to do it just say, we don't want to feel pressured into it. Plus, if we get in trouble I'll help defend you. They says Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff have to stick together sometimes. And if you want to leave right now go ahead, just know that if you need anything I'm here." She spoke in a quiet, soothing, calm, almost Motherly like voice to the Hufflepuff as to help her out a bit.

It was obvious that she might be more then a bit uncomfortable since a lot of people had oh so suddenly joined the table. And attention had been drawn to them on a multitude of occasions in a span of a few minutes.

"If you want. I can show you where I usually sit, it's at a window and it has a gorgeous veiw of looking out over the lake. You can sit there if you feel like it's getting to overcrowded here." She offered, waiting for the other to respond as she tucked a lose strand of her multicolored hair behind her ear..

Logan felt Xyanne put her in an almost hug and relaxed slightly. Hugs always helped her feel better when she was nervous about doing anything. Nodding slowly she started to put all of her supplies away slowly. "Yes please," she mumbled to the girl with multicolored hair while pulling at the sleeves of her robe again. She normally didn't have this many people around her. It was usually just her little brothers and her aunt, no one else seeing as she had been home-schooled after the whole cat incident. She pulled her braided hair over her shoulder and played with the end of it instead of her braid this time.

Logan mumbled to herself about how the group was just trying to be her friend and that they meant no harm, but she was still concerned about getting in trouble. She let out a bit of a sigh, still not knowing if she should actually join the little group. Their was the chance she could make friends, which was a plus since she didn't have that many, but then there was the chance of getting in trouble, which was defiantly on her list of things not to do this year.

Xyanne if you could just add some more words to your previous posts that would be great, but thanks y'all for doing wc in your new ones ^^

Reminder: Mari has Terrible Presence, which is used in this post.

"Trouble? What's a little trouble when there are bullies running around? I'd rather get a detention then let someone beat up a poor girl." Mari understood where the girl was coming from, of course, but as the leader of Girl Gang, she knew she needed to be a positive influence on the others. They needed to learn that fighting was the only answer to things.

Mari knew. She had been almost kidnapped once and didn't fight back and it did not end well. Now that she had learned her lesson, she needed to bestow such a wonderful knowledge on the unknowledgeable first years. That way, if the Blossom Ball happened to become invaded with evil old people next time, they would know what to do properly.

The Gryffindor seemed to not like Mari's plan of having her be the leader, but Mari would not take no for an answer. She also seemed to completely veto her plan of having only Mari's boyfriends join. Mari did not like where this is going. "No, I am the leader. If you do not want me to be the leader, then I'm not going to join this group. I'll just start my own Girl Gang. It will be filled with punches. And we will be enemies.

"Why, you might ask? Because you are a first year. Weak. You don't know anything, you're so young. I am older than you, have more experience at Hogwarts. The Porcelain Palace is mine, I don't just give away its use freely. So it's your choice. My way, or good luck, cause you're going to get beat up."

Mari's terrible presence meant that she made everyone feel uncomfortable around her anyway, and this fact, combined with her words, was bound to make the others feel more than uneasy. It was better this way, though; she hoped that her intimidation would knock some sense into them. What did they think they were doing, trying to start a gang without a wise mentor like herself?

The other two, Mari thought, weren't really proving themselves as good members of the gang anyway; they were trying to get away from the conversation because they were "overcrowded" or something. Wasn't there power in numbers? Mari simply rolled her eyes at the Ravenclaw's words, as well as the over Hufflepuff's agreeing to the request.

I always think that Ravenclaw is like, the parent of the four houses

Xyanne nodded and helped her pack her things up, casting a sidewards glance at the growing group. Though she wanted to help, she needed to stay out of trouble and that's all the group was gonna cause, she quickly tied her hair up into a messy bun and flashed Logan a smile. "I can carry your bag if you want." She says, keeping her tone to the same one she used as before.

But then she heard the second years word and her smile dropped. "Be a moment." The Scottish lass says before turning around with a dead serious face.

"Oh, I'm sorry Mari, was it? Hi, I don't think I've been formally introduced yet. I'm Xyanne Love, First Year. But that shouldn't matter. Since you think you're so much higher than everyone accountable for. Though, I'm sure I've heard your age doesn't define you as a person, now does your past, because you are more than just that. Yet, it seems that you think personally you're better than us. While that can be true in some case scenarios. I think I can find this is not the case. While you've come here to create a group to reach havoc, our goal I'm sure was to settle this and use violence as a last resort. It causes some students to become overwhelmed and for some of us, we can't get into trouble due to certain situations. We can always find a new space as a, quote on quote, 'hideout'. And you can stick to your 'Porcelain Palace.' Now if you excuse me, I'm going make sure Logan gets to a more comfortable area." She says giving a sickeningly sweet smile before turning around.

Though she admits she doesn't like confronting people and saying such a harsh thing, it is often the situation in which it has to be done. She gives Logan a proper calming smile.

Logan smiled softly at Xyanne but shook her head, "I can carry it," she whispered softly. Even though she had assumed that everyone in the library had looked at them at least once in the past 10 minutes. Her smiled dropped however when she heard what the older Hufflepuff has said though. Because they were in the same house, she assumed that she would at least understand her a little but apparently not. Logan lowered her head down and played with her sleeves again, just wanting to get out of the situation as soon as possible.

What Logan hadn't expected was for Xyanne to defend them all. She smiled a little, happy that someone was defending them because clearly it wasn't going to be herself. The rant lasted a little bit, but Logan appreciated the fact that the multicolored haired girl was defending them all. Logan could tell that Xyanne was going to be a good friend of hers very quickly.

The smile that Xyanne gave her at the end of the rant calmed her down slightly, but she still wanted to get out of the situation quickly. She stood up slowly and backed a little ways away from the group, ready to bolt if need be since she was not prepared to have a fight break out.

Erin looked between Mari and Xyanne, before mumbling out,

'We should just work with her, aren't we as females suppose to lift each other up?'

She twitled her thumbs, completely abandoning her book as she glanced between the two rivaling girls, hoping the tension would break before they all got kicked out of the library. Sighing to herself, she slipped her overkly large sweater on, sloppily stuffing her bag with textbooks as she looked at Mari. She smirked slightly and called out,

'I'm in! I think we need to get rid of bullies once and for all, and why not do it with someone who actually knows the castle like the back of their hand?'

Her lips turned into a lopsided smile as she moved closer to Mari, hoping Xyanne and the others would follow suit. Shuffling slightly, she watched her friends debate whether or not to join. Erin sighed, placing her bag down as she took a cautious step towards her fellow first years.

'I personally think that if we want this to end we have to work with Mari. She obviously knows the castle better than us and she is very stubborn from what we can see. So why not do it?'

She tightened her jaw hoping her "speech" would get everyone else on board with it.
