Reagan was bored. Really, terribly bored.
She had just returned from her daily ritual: unobtrusively strolling to the Quidditch fields and watching the players dart around on their brooms while trying to ignore her aching heart.
Lost in her thoughts she entered the gigantic Library. As the smell of books and the feeling of lost information that has to be found washed over her, she suddenly felt a lot more at ease. She has always enjoyed libraries and the calming silence that resided in them.
Suddenly Reagan came to her senses. She had wandered into a seemingly abandoned side of the library. Nobody was around and the sound of people talking has faded away.
The massive shelves containing the ancient books seemed to close on her and she felt like the library wanted to protect her. Vaguely, she reached for one of the books. It was a relatively small piece, old but still clean. The pages rattled quietly as she turned them.
The book was written in small cursive silver letters, that reminded her of the adornment on the quidditch racerbrooms. The book smelled like the sky and the plain cover looked like the book has been dropped several times.
Reagan traced the silver title with one finger. Flying without wings.
She leaned against a shelf and let herself slide down till she hit the ground. Soon she was completely engulfed in stories about legendary quidditch players and fairies.

Reah was distracted by a sudden sound and the feeling of her legs getting jerked around. For a moment she didn't even have time to capture what had happened because a pile of blue clothes already tumbled down in front of her followed by a loud thud that Reah assumed was an enormous book.
-What in the...
The person immediately sat up and started apologising which shocked Reagan even further. It was her fault as much as she knew. The individual had weird two-colored hair and Reah found herself staring. She was very... hufflepuffy. But her clothes were obviously screaming Ravenclaw.
-I'm sorry, I shouldn't have barricaded the walkway with my legs.-Reagan said with a small smile.-Are you okay? I hope you didn't hurt your knees.
She examined the girl once more but didn't find any visible injuries. She gestured towards the book.
-That book would have crushed your fingers if it fell on you...

A bright gleam glazed over her eyes as she straightened her posture. A bright smile was quick to overcome her face. "Hogwart is the most heavily haunted dwelling place in Britain. S it would only be expected that ghost is in this section. My sister said that is three haunted places within the library, two of which are located within the Restricted Section so by your words I'm guessing this is the third place? Oh, I wonder who haunts here! I've already encountered Peeves and The Bloody Baren. The Gray Lady has even pointed me the way to Transfigurations after I got very lost."

As Xyanne said this it was starting to show why she was placed within the house of blue. As her previous nervousness begin to quickly drip away as if it was quickly melted candle wax she talked with confidence and no fear, but instead wonder filled her eyes as she went on with the knowledge she held.

"I also find it easier to talk to the ghost! They don't judge you as much as other students, well, at least, they aren't as mean. I don't have many friends that are alive. I don't mind though. My sister said that if I can't find friends with people, make do with animals and ghost. She was a prefect in her last year but I don't see her anymore. She travels." Xyanne finishes.

"Do you like the ghost?" Was what she asked the other two, looking at them with curiosity for new information as she picked up the book she had before she tripped.

Reagan quietly listened to the two of them talk and smiled inwardly. The new girl with the unusual blue hair was obviously a bad girl. Or at least tried to be. Her cleverly placed sentences made it clear that she was just messing with the other girl. She had a very Slytherin-like personality but since she didn't wear her robes there was no way of telling which house she belonged to. With her continuous knuckle-cracking and harsh words, she was evidently trying to intimidate the both of them.
- Would be funny if she was a Hufflepuff.- Reagan thought to herself.
-I know you're a Hufflepuff.-Xyanne said and Reagan almost cracked up.
Xyanne was standing her ground and she was pleasantly surprised by that. She lowered her head until she managed to collect her expression and then turned to Bad Blue with a friendly but flaunting smile.
- I'm sorry are you guys friends? Am I interrupting a meeting?
Then she let the provocation vanish from her smile and shook her head.
-You're not the only one placed in the wrong house.

Listening to the obviously not Gryffindors mockery Reagan let out a quiet laugh. Bad Blue really didn't like them at all though Reagan couldn't figure why.
-House envy?-she thought and let out another wry smile.
-I like your hair.-she claimed and glanced at Xyanne to show she was on her side.- And honestly, I don't care about family history. People talk and it will always be this way. You can't judge a person based on the family.
She thought of her own proud parents who are probably sitting at home in tears right now debating whether to disown her or forgive her for being a Slytherin.
-I'm Reagan.-she introduced herself towards both of them.- Unlike you, I'm a real Slytherin.
This was aimed directly at the Slytherin wannabe. Reagan could tell that this was a soft spot for her.

At this point, Reagan was just simply amused. She liked the sharp tongue of the Hufflepuff but her words didn't seem evil enough to actually get to her. The responses of Blue seemed more like a bullied girl trying to keep her cool than the nasty girl intentionally going around hurting people.
-Come on.-she laughed quietly completely changing her attitude towards the problem.-You can't exactly blame me for snapping back after getting told off by a random stranger I don't even know the name of.
She snickered again.
-You can be mean to me all you want but that won't change who you are.
She scraped herself together and stood up. They were around the same height.
-I think being a true Slytherin means knowing how to respond to achieve the optimal answer.
She was about to let out a third laugh when she realized that'd probably annoy Blue even more.
-What am I even saying? I sound like one of those dusty professors.
She shrugged and guided a few loose strands of hair back into her messy bun.
-I don't know what it takes to be a real Slytherin. I was supposed to be a Ravenclaw.
She genuinely smiled at both girls hoping they would also find the funny situation they were in as entertaining as she did.

Xyanne couldn't help but let out a small bit of laughter. Her shoulders shaking lightly as she smiled and laughed lightly at the situation. Her eyes lighting up like a lantern in the late of night. After a few moments, she was calm with a small smile on her face.

"What would it take to put this behind us and become friends?" She asked, using a hair tie she had to put her hair into a bun. Then tilting her head as she asked this question, curiosity gleaming in her eyes as if was a wave that over the calming blue within her eye. It's as if someone could easily get lost in her ocean of an eye and drown.

"Plus, if you did become a Ravenclaw, you'd be an excellent one." She said to Reagan with a heartwarming smile. "Our common room has a beautiful sight, especially at sunset, it's gorgeous." She explains with further detail.

"Trust me, if you were in Ravenclaw you would have loved it. But the Sorting Hat obviously put you in Slytherin for a reason, and the same with why you are in Hufflepuff." She says to the other two females. "Look at us! All we need is a Gryfindor and we have all four houses in one spot."
