Avery didn't know where else to go. She decided that the only way to unravel the mystery of what had happened was to dig deeper. And the only way to do that was to search in a book in the library. Avery remembered her grandmother saying that the only way to find the knowledge you seek is through books. Avery finally figured out how true that statement actually was. She just wished she would have listened more to what she had said. The day before she had taken Jasper back to her dorm. She didn't want to stress him out any more. Then she spent the rest of the day in the common room working on homework. She had just finished eating breakfast, so she decided to take a trip to the library in order to track down some sort of clue about whatever that creature was. She walked slowly. Glancing at people walking down the hall. She didn't catch anyone she recognized. Then again, she was so distracted. That creature still haunted her. Its big prints in the snow and the sound of it coming closer behind her caused her to shiver slightly. Finally, she had made it to the stairs. She walked down each flight until she had reached the ground floor where the library was. Avery stood and stared at the library door. Dread creeping up her insides. Did she really want to know what that thing was? Yes. Get it together, Avery. You need to know the truth! Avery took a deep breathe and opened the door. It was now or never to know the truth. Avery walked into the library. The scent of books flooding her senses. She loved that smell. It was a smell Avery was all too familiar with. She was quite the bookworm. Avery walked over to a table and sat down. The she pulled out Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. She hoped that there would be an entry somewhere about the creature she saw. Avery flipped and flipped through the pages. And pages of creatures. Yet she couldn't find the creature she had encountered. She thought that it was just her imagination when she found it. It was a boar-like animal with long, sharp tusks and small ears. The hair, which Avery had seen, looked thin and wiry along its back. It became thicker above its stomach. Avery froze as she looked at the animal. As she was reading, she found out that the animal was a Tebo. A very dangerous magical creature that could turn invisible and attack its prey. Making it hard to find. No wonder Avery couldn't really see it. It could turn invisible! Avery continued reading until she had found out enough information about it. At least, what she thought was enough information. After she had finished reading, she walked all the way back to the Gryffindor Common Room to spend some time with Jasper.
