@Potions | MENTIONINGHHHHMMMMMPFF, Cirrus took a deep inhale of the air and exhaled with satisfaction. The air was as refreshing and crisp as a Honeycrisp apple. Crisp, crisp, crisp, Cirrus repeated in his head, like flipping a pancake over and over. He hadn't even realized he was humming this strange self-made tune. He found it was nice to see the corridors so empty, of course though not completely as you there were several students skipping classes and others making visits to the restroom. The first period class was almost over, and Cirrus having finished all his work asked to be excused. So here he was wandering the dungeons of Hogwarts when he decided to pay a visit to his second year friend who was probably in potions right now. Based on the schedule he should very well be there, anyways he had to return him his colour pencils. Cirrus carefully poked his head through the door, and luckily everyone was getting packed up, ready for the official dismissal. Cirrus walked in, quickly scanning the room. He smiled upon seeing his upper-year Gryffindor, he walked over to his desk.
"Ello! ah kin tae gie ye back yer color pencils," 1 Cirrus said putting the pencil bag covered in patterns of gold embroidered lions down on the Gryffindor's desk.
"Thanks Cirrus! You finished that project quick, huh?" The older boy said grinned.
Cirrus nodded with a small shrug, Cirrus never left things last minute and preferred getting things done as good and as swiftly as possible. Without losing quality. As the Gryffindor boy ranted about different assignments he had to do Cirrus let his honey eyes wander about the room. Before landing on none other than a girl infront of the boy's desk. The first thing he noticed was the Gryffindor girl's astonishing posture, her back was as straight as a board there was a gracefulness about her. Why did she seem... Familiar? It took a bit of racking his brain before he remembered who she was. She was the daughter of Kian Takahashi, a famous celebrity from where he came from. He was going to be in Fast in Furious, but dropped out due to the media scandals. Or at least that's what he could remember, the family tried mostly to stay out of the limelight to Cirrus's understanding but to be fair he didn't really keep up with pop culture or the news much. Also the scandal had happened before he was born so what he heard was just from the mouths of neighbors and family members. But the biggest question was, what was she doing here? It was even cooler that she was witch, was she a muggle just like him? Or was the whole family wizards and witches? That would be cool to know that a famous celebrity was actually magical. He worked some of his courage up to go over and greet her.
"Ello! They ca' me cirrus, ye'r th' daughter o' kian takahashi richt?" 2 Cirrus asked trying to be polite, sticking out his hand. To be honest he was a bit nervous, not because she was a the daughter of a star but because he always got nervous to meet new people.

The young Takahashi tilted her head back, staring at the cracked dungeon ceiling with thinly veiled irritation. Her stomach gave a quiet grumble—a low reminder of the croissant she barely nibbled on in the morning rush. Lunch couldn't come soon enough, but for now, appearances mattered more than sandwiches.
With a soft tsk, she pulled out her lip gloss, twisting the cap open with a flick of her wrist. The sweet scent of vanilla hit her nose, and she smoothed the gloss over her lips, barely glancing at her reflection in the compact mirror tucked discreetly into her bag. It wasn't much, but it made her feel less like she was fading into the dreariness of the dungeon walls.
A flicker of movement caught her eye—a younger boy approaching, his dark hair tousled, a Hufflepuff badge pinned crookedly to his robes. Bold, she thought with mild interest. Most wouldn't dare walk up to her, let alone with such a determined expression. She capped the gloss with a soft click and stood, slipping it into her bag.
When he spoke, though, her brows furrowed slightly. The thick accent, the unfamiliar cadence—it was like trying to decode a spell mid-incantation. She caught fragments: daughter… Kian Takahashi… right?
The realization hit her like a Bludger to the chest, though she schooled her expression into something neutral. She didn't expect to be recognized here—not at Hogwarts. Not after a year of nobody so much as whispering her father's name in the hallways.
Ula tilted her head, her gaze sweeping over the boy with detached curiosity. His outstretched hand lingered between them like an unanswered question, but she made no move to shake it. Instead, she crossed her arms, a faint smirk tugging at the corner of her glossed lips.
"Cirrus, is it?" she said, her voice smooth but laced with dry amusement. "You're braver than most Gryffindors I've met. Or maybe just dumber. Hard to tell sometimes."
Her stomach gave another quiet grumble, and her smirk faltered for half a second before she masked it with a sharp inhale. She wasn't in the mood for small talk, but something about his persistence—or cluelessness—kept her from brushing him off entirely.
"So, what's the plan here, Cirrus? You want an autograph or something? What is it—parchment? Your Charms textbook? Or…" Her gaze flicked over him in mock consideration. "Or are we talking something dramatic—like your forehead?"
She let the suggestion hang in the air for a moment before leaning slightly closer, her tone dropping into a conspiratorial whisper. "If it's that last one, I'm going to need something in return. Ink's expensive."
Straightening up, she tilted her head, her smirk sharpening. "Actually, tell me this—did you bring snacks? Autographs are for paying customers only. I'm sure you understand."

@Gekko Phillips, Misinterpretation| MENTIONINGThe girl crossed her arms, a smirk tugging at her porcelain face. Cirrus let his arm hang limply in air for longer than appropriate given the situation, once he finally realized that she wasn't gonna take it he quickly took back his hand scratching the back of his neck in slight embarrassment. Oops. Cirrus was terrible at reading social situations and most social interactions in general, the only reason he had made it this far with his social life ,which isn't a lot, was because the people were usually extremely nice or extroverted themselves. Cirrus on the other hand was honestly more on the introverted side and didn't talk much, and he was extremely AWKWARD. But he knew his weakness and tried to push himself to talk to more people, which most of the time didn't go well due to his strong accent. Honestly a situation like that had happened before when he had been trying to converse with another Hufflepuff his age and the boy had no clue what he was saying. Luckily the goat had come to his rescue, or at least attempted to help him. He had appreciated it none-the-less. Unlucky for Cirrus since Gekko wasn't here to save him this time.
"Cirrus, is it?" The griffindor girl sounded unimpressed. "You're braver than most Gryffindors I've met..."He smiled slightly. "Thank yo-"
"...Or maybe just dumber. Hard to tell sometimes."
"Oh." His smile faded and turned more into embarrassment, his ears turning a tomato-ish color. He now was questioning whether this whole thing had been a mistake, to be fair he was in her class bothering her right? What if she wasn't even Takahashi's daughter, what if she didn't like to be recognized? Was there a secret code for celebrities? You know what who cares? Cirrus silently gave up in his head, wearing himself out with too much thought. Cirrus decided just to continue talking, he opened his mouth to speak but only a small almost inaudible wheeze came out as a response. He shut his mouth immediately, he just quickly gave a non-chalant shrug. Even though his mind was racing, his looks didn't betray him, on the outside he looked as if he could care less about anything, a care-free boy. Cirrus heard a small grumble, or maybe even a growl, he took a quick scan of the room as if that would tell him who the perpetrator was. But to no avail, he flashed a quick look, a mixture of concern and confusion as he gazer around. He had heard it a few times already, hut thought maybe he was just hearing things. Wait... Maybe he was hungry? Cirrus's attention was reverted back to the ink-haired second year as she took a sharp inhale.
"So, what's the plan here, Cirrus? You want an autograph or something? What is it—parchment? Your Charms textbook? Or…" This girl was weird. "Or are we talking something dramatic—like your forehead?"
"Uhh-" The whole room seemed to be silent, or at least in Cirrus's head, he felt like he was being put in a spotlight that he didn't like. Her voice was mocking but was hidden by a smooth sweet voice, it made it harder to discern between genuine truth versus sugar-coated insults.
"If it's that last one, I'm going to need something in return. Ink's expensive. Actually, tell me this—did you bring snacks? Autographs are for paying customers only. I'm sure you understand."
"Um, na. Ah dinnae waant an autograph," 1 Cirrus said awkwardly furrowing his eyebrows, but this was quickly replaced with a genuine smile.
"Ah'ament actually a fan, mah grandpa wis. Sae cuid ah git yin fur him? Ah meself juist honestly think tis pure weird that yer magical, ah didnae ken celebrities cuid be magic! Bit na forehead! ah awready hud an ink kinch afore."2
"As fur snacks, ah dinnae hae ony bit ah cuid git ye some if you'd lik'?" He said scratching his head, after looking through his bag. "Ah masell, dinnae care muckle fur hollywood shenanigans." 3
Cirrus grabbed a parchment for her to sign since she offered. Everything had come out of his mouth in a jumbled disorganized mess.
"Cheers fur th' offer."4

1. Um, no. I don't want an autograph.
2. I'm not actually a fan, my grandpa was. Could I get one for him? I myself just honestly think it's cool that you're magical, I didn't know celebrities could be magic! But not the forehead! I already had an ink problem before.
3. As for snacks, I don't have any but I could get you some if you'd like? I myself, don't care much for Hollywood shenanigans.
4. Thanks for the offer!

Ula tilted her head, studying Cirrus like one might observe a particularly curious stray dog that had wandered into their path. His wide grin and the awkward energy radiating off him reminded her of a Labrador she'd once seen trying to make friends with a garden gnome—overly eager and entirely oblivious to how much he was baffling her.
Most of what he said sounded like gibberish, his thick accent tangling his words into knots that she couldn't quite untangle. But she caught enough—something about her being magical, snacks, and his grandpa wanting an autograph.
With a small sigh, she plucked a scrap of parchment from between his fingers and reached for the ink pot on her desk. As she scrawled her name across the parchment with a flourish, she added a wry note beneath it:
"To Cirrus's grandpa—proof your grandson isn't completely hopeless. Ula Takahashi."
She handed the parchment back, her expression sharp with amusement. "Consider it a gesture of goodwill because you've managed to survive this conversation without combusting."
Sliding her inkpot back into her bag, she slung it over one shoulder and rose to her feet. "Alright, Cirrus," she said, brushing a strand of hair over her shoulder, "walk with me. I’ve got places to be, and you've got snacks to fetch."
As they exited the classroom, the din of the corridors growing louder, Ula glanced sideways at him, her tone half-teasing, half-serious. "And while you're at it, maybe pick up some confidence too. You've got potential, but I can't keep carrying the whole charisma department for the both of us."
She smirked, her dark eyes glinting with mischief. "Think of it as homework. Snacks and swagger. Show up with both, and I might even let you sit next to me at lunch." Her tone was teasing, but there was just enough truth in it to keep him guessing.

✩ Cirrus smiled softly as the doll-faced girl handed him the parchment. He took the folded piece of paper cupping it in his hands, looking at it fondly for a moment as he thought of his Grandfather, who was well old in age. I wonder if he'll be super happy about it? Or would he be disappointed since it wasn't the signature from her father? It doesn't make too much of a difference right? He just hoped that this silly piece of paper would bring happiness to his loved one, it was funny how much of a connection he shared with this elderly man. Cirrus was often called the spitting image of his grandfather, often comparing his photos with younger ones of his family member, it was considered almost uncanny at times. Cirrus looked back up at the girl bowing profusely in gratitude, his vision slightly obscured by the sudden glassiness of tears, that didn't fall luckily.
He watched as Ula stood up brushing her long hair off her shoulder in an elegant manner, as she ushered Cirrus to follow her. Cirrus nodded swearing to himself to make sure he got her the snacks he owed her, he would work during Christmas break if he had to to pay her back. As the two exited Cirrus gave a sheepish wave to the second year Gryffindor boy he was leaving behind, and as the two walked, he almost stopped in his tracks at the mention of his poor confidence. He awkwardly looked down at his feet that dragged across the floor, he knew he wasn't the coolest person in the book and that he was long and dangly and he didn't know what to do half the time. Like was he swinging his arms funnily when he strolled along? Or would he look suspicious if he put his hands in his pockets, almost everything was a question of whether to do or to not to do. Ula's mischievous look that he saw from the corner of his eye, he knew something was up, but he didn't know what, but he didn't question any further at her words just continuing to follow her like a dog with it's legs in between his legs. What lay ahead?✩
