The day arrived for Tracey's first unofficial Quidditch match, or her first Kokoquid match. She actually liked this name more. Though this may be her first match, she knows all about the game.

I mean who wouldn't? Not to mention, Tracey's childhood friend told her all about the game. So she was pretty confident in herself and in her team. Just hopefully she wouldn't let her team down.

Tracey pushed all her negative thoughts away as soon as she entered the quidditch pitch. She had her broom in hand and waa excited to see how this match will go.

Tracey was glad she was wearing appropriate clothing for the weather. It was pretty cold out and not to mention, she'll be having to fly around in the cold weather which will most likely get even colder.

When it was time to begin, Tracey mounted her broom and kicked off hard from the ground. She was hovering in the air, but she moved into a better position for her to be in.

She kept the teams strategy in mind and hoped that they'll be able to win. Tracey knew that this was a practice match, but it'll be nice to have at least one win under her belt, especially since she lost both of her official duels.

Volunteering as a teamโ€™s captain had been a spur-of-the-moment decision, but now that Jan made his way to the field where the match was about to begin, he felt a surge of uneasiness over him. He rarely dared himself to get out of his comfort zone, yet for some reason, he went out of his way to tell Koko to put him as a team captain in her Quidditch match. There were questions that were swirling in his mind as he approached his team. Had he been foolish to take on captaincy? Does he really have the necessary skills to lead a team with his lack of experience in the role? Heck was he truly prepared to face the expectations of his teammates? He observed each one of them before clearing up his throat.

โ€œListen up,โ€ Jan began, trying to make sure that his teammates heard him. โ€œWeโ€™re a unit, not a collection of individuals so I want everyone here to stick with the plan we just made. Watch your zones. Trust each other. I know most of you are here to win, but try to enjoy the game. Don't be disappointed if we lose.โ€ Jan allowed the words to linger to their ears before mounting his broom and kicking off the ground. He could see the opposing team in the distance, some of whose faces he recognized. Ruth happened to be one of them. He still canโ€™t believe that she had made the decision to side with the other team. Such a bummer, really. But there was no place for being disappointed, because it was time for him to focus on the match.

Minnie smiled, ready to cheer on her team from the sidelines. She was hopeful that she could jump in and play, but didn't want any of her teammates injured. Really, she was just hopeful that her team could win. Losing was something Minnie, and Dukes in general, did not like to do.

A whistle blew and the brooms kicked off into the air. Minnie hoped that her team wouldn't fail during the first few minutes. As the game started, she closed her eyes, remembering her home, and all of her games. The noise, the wind, the feeling of zooming around on a broom. It was perfect.

She used to play as a seeker in her small wizard village. She made a lot of friends with the team, and would enjoy practicing their "unofficial quidditch" many afternoons. It was the perfect way to pass the time, even if it did mean that she couldn't talk to Theo as often. He didn't mind, and sometimes he even watched her on her broom during their practices. He was an amazing friend, and she wished he could come to Hogwarts with her.

Minnie opened her eyes again, ready to jump in and help her team win.

| Mamori strolled onto the Quidditch pitch with an air of someone who had finally learned from past mistakes โ€” namely, that staying up until ungodly hours to catch some radio show before an unofficial match wasn't exactly peak athleticism. This time, for Koko's version of the chaos, he'd actually managed proper sleep and food, looking so disgustingly well-prepared that he almost didn't recognize himself.

Or at least as well-prepared as anyone could be in Scotland's January weather, which seemed to exist solely to remind everyone exactly why the official Quidditch season had the common sense to wait until February.

His decision to switch from Keeper to Chaser this time around was, of course, a purely strategic decision for greater pitch mobility, one that coincidentally had nothing whatsoever to do with his newfound appreciation for the art of Blatching. The whole "protecting hoops" business had proved far too restrictive for his tastes during Lucian's match, better left to those blessed souls who could actually stick to their assigned spots. Like someone dedicated as Maisie, who would soon be practically welded to her hoops โ€” her and that reassuringly expensive Silver Arrow making his keeper-retirement decision all the more sensible.

He'd arrived fashionably late to find most players already loitering about the pitch in various states of pre-game preparation, some looking more frozen than others, though thankfully not yet airborne. His assigned team lineup had already brought a satisfied smirk to his face when he'd first heard it โ€” somehow two of his previous match companions had ended up on his side again, plus his fellow housemate Ruth, and of course, Maisie.

What he hadn't expected, however, was the rather interesting equipment situation before him. This round's team distribution was turning out to be quite the masterpiece of fairness โ€” if by fairness one meant clustering every expensive broom imaginable on one side. After being on the receiving end of a Silver Arrow trinity last time, Mamori now saw himself on the profitable end of what appeared to be the same bulk discount deal, plus two Moontrimmers and rumors of a Firebolt waiting to make its grand entrance. He almost felt obligated to shed a tear for the poor souls on school brooms across the pitch โ€” if he were in their shoes, he'd probably be contemplating a tactical retreat right about now. But since cosmic fortune had somehow landed him on this absurdly privileged side, he found himself feeling uncharacteristically grateful.

"Thank you, Merlin," he muttered skyward with exaggerated solemnity, "for finally recognizing my worth and granting me access to the expensive broom club. I shall treasure this moment forever."

As for Koko's pre-match instructions, most of it had conveniently floated past his ears until that promising phrase "Please try to keep it clean" caught his attention. The emphasis, naturally, being on "TRY" โ€” which suggested a very different approach from Lucian's iron-fisted, zero-tolerance policy toward creative gameplay.

Oh yes, this was going to be much more entertaining.

The sounds of the winds howling could be heard as Elisa walked slowly towards the Pitch, her hands tightly clutching on her broom with a cold look plastered on her face, the sole reason of her joining was to try get distracted from thinking of what had happened during the holidays, from the new addition in the family to the disappearance of Ernest, she wasn't over it yet but ready than ever to do anything to forget those horrors.

An expression of annoyance plastered on her face for a split second before disappearing as she noticed quite a lot of familiar faces, Prat specifically catching her eyes, she had tried to avoid him ever since her return, maybe fate wasn't on her side, she ran a hand through her now short brown hair, a makeover she had given herself, the very day she returned back from Hogwarts, in a pathetic attempt to try avoid most people she knew.

She made sure to greet Koko before making her way to where the rest of the second string players of her teams were and plopped down on a seat as she started observing the game and the people around her, most of the snakes seemed exhausted by the party held last night while the rest seemed enthusiastic, she herself just hoped for not much chaos.

Promise was walking down to the quidditch pitch, school broom in hand. It was a particularly chilly morning, not ideal for being outside for too long. She only hoped that this time things would be different. Falling off her broom was not what she had been excepting for last time, but that's the way things had turned out. Hopefully she could make sure to keep her hands on her broom at all times, this time she wasn't going to fall.

As she made it to the pitch, she saw the organizer of the quidditch game was giving a brief explanation of the rules. She stuck around and listened for a bit until she rapped up. This time around, Promise decided to be a good beater, and stay airborne for as long as possible. She made her way where all the other players were, she saw that they had already mounted there brooms, so she did the same. She took the hair tie on her wrist and quickly tied her hair into a ponytail, trying to ignore the fly away strands that had been left out. As soon as she heard the sign to start, she flew up into the air, ready to help her team to victory.

To be brutally honest, Saunders Napier, this almond-eyed boy, with the rains of the Island and the fjords of Scandinavia dancing in shadows across his contours, had no real connection whatsoever to being an earnest Quidditch fan. He had always found the very act of flying on a broomstick to be far from the jaw-droppingly marvellous spectacle others seemed to revere. Perhaps, his attitude stemmed from his earliest memories being saturated with the sight of broomsticks, rendering them as mundane to him as buses were to a Muggle. A broom, to Saunders, could only ever be as remarkable as a commuter coach was to someone terribly stuck in Friday traffic. That being said, he did occasionally find himself oddly intrigued by the latest broom models, not for their performance or strength, but for the style they reflected and the status they represented. He even caught himself now and then poring over glossy advertisements of the latest broom models in wizarding magazines.

His activity today, therefore, could be described as utterly uncharacteristic, indeed, an attempt, in the boy's subdued fashion, to uncover and experience the extraordinary in the most ordinary. He had resolved to participate in the unofficial Quidditch match lovingly nicknamed "Kokoquid", after a fellow snake, the one and only Koko Riddle. It was to be an adventure (which was no small incentive), besides, Saunders entertained the hope that a strong performance might earn him the admiration and recognition of his peers that he quietly, yet strongly craved.

By the time he stepped onto the famous Quidditch pitch of Hogwarts, clad in attire perfectly befitting the standards of this hellish sport, his thoughts were in the midst of a dance - the dance of triumph's allure and defeat's nagging dread. Despite his family's considerable wealth, Saunders' broom was a relatively, nay, considerably modest one: Nimbus 1001. For now. This was, of course, entirely by design. Every social class brought its burdens, and the Napier boy had long dreaded the filthy accusation that his success at school was simply a by-product of his family's fortunes, privileges, or connections. The notion that he was a rich, and naturally spoiled, half-caricatured, but pure-blood boy had always irked him. Such insinuations had grown tiresome now.

He cast a glance at Jan, the Captain Jan - whom Saunders had met a few months earlier through an interesting owling process. The boy could not help but admire him while listening to his motivational speech, the boy, without a doubt, was doing an admirable job leading the team. The idea of being a captain for such a sport had never crossed Saunders' mind, he was self-aware enough to grasp the fact that his temperament was too consistent with his aversion to taking responsibility in domains where he felt not particularly confident. His gaze, sweeping the pitch in order to observe the teams' differences in age, strength, and broom quality, finally fixed on his flying instrument. He had no actual desire to continue to calculate or strategise. Shaking himself free of such considerations, he slowly mounted his broom and muttered under his breath, "Whatever will be - well, will be."

Then, raising his voice, he called out with frank cheer: "Good luck! May the best team win!" For even amidst the burning chaos of an unofficial match, where friendly feelings compete with unfriendly ambitions, gentlemanliness must never be cast aside.

Oliver had some interest in quidditch, He had plenty fun going to watch matches back at home when his father took him to games. As his father was a much bigger fan then everyone the boy knew. Now he was not as big a fan as his father was, but there was a certain appeal to it. He watched many players in many positions, the seeker looking around for the snitch, hoping to get it and win glory for the team. This of course had it's own appeal, if he was the one that caught the snitch he would be victorious. Would have won the match.

This was not the roll for Oliver Armani, of course not. Not when in the blink of an eye one could see some random on there broom doing what they needed, then all of the sudden. Oliver would find himself watching them tumble, down, down, down... Until hit the grass. Rendered out of the game. The work of a beater. Up there, hitting the rouge out of control buldgers. Hitting it with all there might, aiming for the opponents. He had even see some of the beaters break brooms with there hits. As much glory seekers had, getting to hit people and get away with it. He couldn't lie, it had it's charms.

This was the position Oliver had chosen when he signed up for this unofficial game, if he was lucky (he was not) the people he wanted to hit most would be on the opposing side. @Aodhan Shaw, The insufferable nicknames made Oliver shutter just thinking about it. What he wouldn't give to hit that guy off his broom. And the insufferable mudblood @Sandy Thompson her he reallllyyyy wanted to hit off a broom. Preferably into a pit of tar. the fool she had made of him. Hitting him. After she was the definition of idiocy; talking to a floor.

Alas, no luck for him. As he never had any at this blasted school. If not for the shame, he would wish to be born a squib to avoid all embarrassment here. If he won the game though... That would fair nicely in his next letter home, his previous one telling his family about the game. Where they had promptly sent him a broom to use. Not top model much to his disappointment, he might as well have been on a school broom. But that was far worse. His parents had explained to him that if he won, and enjoyed it, he could get a better broom. So be it.

He would win.

All by himself if he could, to bring some pride that he may or may not have lost during some of his interactions with the fools that roomed the halls. He didn't trust his teammates. Not at all, he hardly knew them. So he would have much rather been up on the field himself. Grabbing the quaffles, scoring with said quaffles, looking for the snitch, defending the goals, and of course beating other people with high speed magically enchanted murder balls. Tragically for him, he needed a team. Merlin save him if they lost. Mounting his broom, he took position in the sky, ready to bring his family pride.

The moment Sabrina heared of this unofficial match - or Kokoquid, as the other students call it - she was determined to join. So much so, that she barely paid attention to what position she applied for, which ended up being Beater. Okay, that might've been a result of impulsive enthusiasm as her passion actually stemmed from flying itself and not Quidditch, much less said position, but she was grateful and excited nonetheless.

There was only one - discounting her utter lack of experience and knowladge gaps - problem. Broom. She didn't own a broom, a fact that, as long as she was aware, wouldn't be changing anytime soon. Of course, she could use one of the school ones, but this opportunity felt special - too special for the, albeit beloved, wobbly old piece of wood and crinkly bristles. So, she put up a request for borrowing a broom on a bulletin board.

A sweet older student actually reached out via owls, offering to lend her their broom. Picking it up this morning after breakfast, Sabrina expected to be entrusted with a well cared for but older model the student rarely used, not a polished Firebolt. Her jaw was at the basement levels of their school, eyes almost falling out of their sockets as she numbly lifted her arms. As soon as the broom was placed in them, she could just about cry. In actual tears, she swore to take good care of it, repeatedly thanking them over and over again, not launching at the student only out of fear of damaging the broom.

Walking onto the training pitch now, she held it like it was made out of gold. Looking around, she noted a few familiar faces, her captain - a fellow Ravenclaw first year - amongst them. Still, the only ones she knew by name were ironically on the opposite team: Ira and Oliver. She actually began to hold a strange, unlogical grudge against the latter. They met once - once - and yet the bitter impression he left on her was almost overwhelming. She flickered her gaze away, the negative feelings in her subsiding, replaced by the steadily growing excitement. She got ready, a wide smile growing on her face as the wistle blew and she took off.

In the role of Beater, if you hit an opponent with a bludger the bludger will then ricochet off that user and target a second opponent of choice (must be declared, if not declared the target will be random and can be an ally but not yourself).

"Woo!" He cheered on his fellow Ravenclaw, and leader of course. He wasn't doing much, he was pretty much on the sideline- the bench to be frank. He seems cheerful though, even if he's sitting on the bench, he considered it lucky to get the front row seats anyway.

He kicks his feet idly, being just short enough to float above the ground. He had a look at his team and found that most of these faces he never met. So perhaps after the match he might go have a chin wag with some of them.

If he survives and doesn't end up in the hospital wing of course, haha. He hasn't exactly got the best qualification to be a beater- and neither was it too nice of a name. Regardless, he got the role and he sure as heck is going to try his best at it.

He finds most of the team is composed of first and second years, it would make sense considering that it was more of a free for all levels. There were some out of the blue actual Quidditch players here and there though, and/or senior years.

He isnโ€™t doing much this time around, but he sure is going to try his best at moral support.
