Oliver was in a bad mood, Now he normally was in bad moods all the time. But this was just a little bit worse then his normal bad having woken up grumpy, why? Hell if he knew, he could have been fine, and woken up by breakfast, been in a better mood by his classes that day. And yet of course everything just had to go wrong. Even if it wasn't really going wrong, the little things just seemed to piss him off more and more by the second. Were he not semi dignified, he would have screamed and threw a 'temper tantrum' though he would sooner be caught dead then in the midst of a breakdown.
The first of his annoyances that day had been his own roommate, Gekko. Whom most day's he could deal with her, most days. Today was not most days. Today she had tried to tell him a joke, A joke. It wasn't even funny. As her jokes never were, this one had soured his already sour mood. His cat Otis had been extremely needed that morning to. More so then normal. It was a marvel that he made it out of the dorm that morning with out the cat clinging to his back.
Luckily he had caught a small break at breakfast. Some fool had nearly spilled juice on him though. That ruffled his metaphorical feathers. He had taken a deep breath though, and only glared at them telling them if they did it again he would have no choice but to have his cat deliver a small rodent into there bag. Not his best work, but it got the point across. As they had managed to say sorry once again before slinking off in what was no doubt embarrassment. Oliver was fairly sure they were muggle born. He had no reason to believe this though, only that they ticked him off to.
To end his morning of suffering, he had charms class. Charms class, was one of his least favorite classes. He would never admit it to anyone but he was not good at spell work. Whenever he tried to get a good spell in something went wrong. He was sure he said it right, and did the correct wand movements. Yet the spell ended subpar, or not casting at all. What took some of his classmates one or two tries to get, took him four or five. How embarrassing. After all, his blood was pure wizard. The magic in him was supposed to be strong and yet.
It had to be his wand's fault. The wand that was currently on his desk, set up with his parchment, ink, and quill. Ready to take his notes, make them perfect as he could. Just because he was having a bad morning didn't give him an excuse to have sloppy notes. He had chosen a seat by himself, to hopefully try and avoid any interaction with people. So they wouldn't annoy him, it was near inventible that one would not annoy him. It seemed as if someone didn't get the message and choose to sit next to him anyways. Giving him a nod in greeting. Oliver simply rolled his eyes and got ready to take his notes.
