Jay was gratified in the wake of his comment, earning a small laugh from Maya. That was all he really wanted, honestly; anytime he could make a girl laugh, he figured his existence had merit. Though his views on girls and the way they should be treated may be considered "outdated" or some crap like that, he didn't give a flying leap. His parents had taught him well, and he believed that members of the fairer sex inherently deserved his respect and adulation. Besides, his father would let him know exactly what he thought if Jay were ever to disrespect one of them.
He received an elbow to the ribs as Maya joked back, “You aren’t so bad yourself.”
Jay grinned at that, more than slightly pleased at the compliment despite the joking tone, though he did notice Nott rolling her eyes and seemingly trying to fight off a smile of her own. His grin only widened further, and he vowed to himself that he was going to make her laugh openly one of these days, whether she liked it or not. He felt rather confident that he could accomplish this goal, and he wouldn't rest until he did.
His thoughts were torn away from the girls as he heard the rattle of a handle and turned to see the door opening from the outside. How had he managed to be oblivious enough to not notice that when Maya had come in? His achievements in that category never failed to amaze him, though he supposed he should be used to his oafish idiocy by now.
As the newcomer entered the room, Jay had yet another jolt of doubt as he caught his first glance. Was he to spend the entire summer alone with three girls? As established, he certainly had no qualms with spending time with girls, but he wasn't sure how he would handle being outnumbered by that much.
His doubts were once again dispelled in a rush of relief as he got a better view and the stranger spoke in a voice that clearly seemed at home in a boy's body.
"Hello..." the greeting hung awkwardly in the air as the boy's foot found the slightly raised trim in the doorway, sending him sprawling quite ungracefully onto his luggage. "Ouchh"
Maya was the first to react, rushing to the boy's side to help him to his feet. Jay followed closely behind her, allowing her to help the new arrival, but ready in case any further assistance might be necessary.
Deciding to be of use outside of the physical sense, he scratched his head and spoke, "You okay, pal? Trust me, you're not the only one tripping over his own feet around here. I had a spectacular fall in unparalleled fashion on my way here... then proceeded to punch the wall when Maya here sneaked up on me." A toothy grin prevailed on his face as he recounted his woes from earlier, adding a bit of flavor to the story, gladly making light of himself in an effort to relieve the boy's level of embarrassment.

His face is now red of blush, no matter how much he wanted to act confidently normal, his face always does its job and shows everyone what Cecilia was thinking or feeling.
"Thank you, I'm okay," He said as the girl in his right asked if he was okay with the worried tone and helped him stand up by supporting his arm, he wasn't injured by the fall, at least, nothing serious beside his swelling pride, good job Cecilia. How to greet new friends, step one: say hello, step 2: trips over some random things and embarrass yourself, at least he has experiences of eleven years falling over things helped him avoid any serious injuries
"Thank you" He told the boy in a warm tone while setting down his luggage by the entrance, he didn't know if 'thank you' is the right thing to tell the boy, but he felt the need to express his gratefulness to the one who had comforted him "I have been tripping over things on a daily basis, so it's safe to say, I'm used to it" He said, slipped a bit mixed accent in frustration but had been slightly more comfortable.
"So, I'm Cecilia, Cecilia Deaux Le, nice to meet ya all." As he heard, there is probably another one in this cabin with him, besides the two were helping him. Cecilia unfold his cane again, as he thought that he should never have folded it first place, he wouldn't have fallen if he had used the cane to navigate his way

Someone, a boy spoke up, voice expressing that he was trying to comfort Cecilia in some way, which successfully makes Cecilia smiled at the way he describes it so casually and comical. Although his cheek is still red and he himself still feel little embarrassed, he spoked up"You okay, pal? Trust me, you're not the only one tripping over his own feet around here. Maya helped the boy up into his feet he said he was okay and thanked Maya just nodded and sweetly smiled back glad that he was okay, Jay also asked the boy if he was okay and started explaining how he was also clumsy so it was okay probably to comfort the boy
The boy thanked Jay for trying to comfort him and explained how he had usually trips up so it wasn’t an issue and he was used to it, he then introduced himself to everyone in the room
Maya wondered if she should offer to help with his bags but she didn’t want to seem rude or to come across like she thought he needed assistance so she decided not to, from what she knew he had gotten here perfectly fine and she wasn’t going to treat him any differently to the other two in the room
“I’m Maya, Maya Hunter it’s nice to meet you too” she introduced herself to the new boy, she looked around at the people in the room realising there were two boys and two girls so it probably wasn’t a mistake after all
Jay grinned widely showing his teeth, Maya remembered when he didn’t notice her walk into the room and he jumped hitting his hand once she said hello to him “I wouldn’t say I snuck up on you I quietly walked” Maya slightly smiled back “Sorry for scaring your highness” She joked remembering how she overheard the end of what sounded like a speech where Jay called himself a ruler"I had a spectacular fall in unparalleled fashion on my way here... then proceeded to punch the wall when Maya here sneaked up on me.”
The boy thanked Jay for trying to comfort him and explained how he had usually trips up so it wasn’t an issue and he was used to it, he then introduced himself to everyone in the room

The fallen boy thanked Maya as she helped him up. He seemed a bit embarrassed and flustered by the accident as his cheeks were a bit blushed. Afterwards, Jay tried comforting him by telling embarrassing mishaps about himself. It was well said, the sort of thing that would break any tension. Apparently he had fallen on the way and been startled by Maya. In return, she bantered back.
First Maya responded, introducing herself. Since the others had all shaken hands, it seemed wrong to leave the newcomer out, so Nott stood up and reached out a hand to him. "Hello, nice to meet you. Nott Dauhlberg." She realized now was her chance to mention something about mishaps to tell him it wasn't entirely uncommon, especially on a boat.
"You shouldn't worry about falling. Even earlier the boat swayed and I quite ungracefully bashed into a wall. We all have probably fallen already."
Maya joked and said something about "your highness." Nott wondered what that was about. It probably had something to do with the incident of Maya startling Jay.“I wouldn’t say I snuck up on you I quietly walked. Sorry for scaring your highness.”
He sounded a bit annoyed at himself still, so Nott opened her mouth to add her reassurance by telling about her own incident with one of the walls in that long, narrow hallway. On a boat! The boy continued before that could happened."I have been tripping over things on a daily basis, so it's safe to say, I'm used to it."
At that, Cecilia took out a cane, unfolding the contraption. Nott looked at it for a second before realizing not to look too long. She wondered what it was for. She didn't realize it's purpose. Perhaps it had to do with not tripping and falling since that was the topic at hand."So, I'm Cecilia, Cecilia Deaux Le, nice to meet ya all."

Jay's remarks managed to elicit a smile from the newcomer, despite the lingering redness on his cheeks, and the boy's gratitude was shown forth in the warmth behind his words.
"Thank you," he said.
Jay simply nodded in acknowledgment of the heartfelt words, the goofy grin on his face taking on a more tender tone.
“I wouldn’t say I snuck up on you I quietly walked. Sorry for scaring your highness”
His eyes flew wide open, the warmhearted look on his face drastically changing to one of shock as he turned to look at Maya. So she had heard that little bit of self dialogue... How extraordinarily spectacular! Now he had a cabin-mate who presumably considered him a head case, believing himself a monarch who ruled over his faithful subjects, which subjects happened to be furniture.
Feeling a bit of heat rising in his cheeks, he fought it down, trying to force a smile back onto his face but only quite managing to convince one side of his mouth to twitch upwards in what may have looked like some nervous tick. That explanation of the action wasn't all that far from reality, he supposed.
Seeing as she had obviously heard him declare himself undisputed ruler of the cabin, he decided that there was no better path than to embrace the gimmick.
"All is forgiven," he said in the most authoritative voice he could muster. "But from now on, I expect you to make as much noise as humanly possible when moving about. I want such an awful ruckus that I will have my little heart attack well before you come into view. That way, you won't see me jump five feet in the air next time." He had placed his hands on his hips and puffed his chest out, attempting to emulate the poster that he could only assume a king would hold.
It occurred to him that such a continuation of the little joke may lead to the others learning about his speech, but he supposed that if they were going to live with him for the whole summer, they were bound to uncover the truth about his rather exasperating stupidity sooner or later.
All remnants of his kingly facade were dropped, however, when the stranger introduced himself as Cecilia Deux-Le and unfolded some sort of cane. Jay puzzled over the object for a moment, then his gaze drifted over Cecilia's eyes, and he seemed to notice them for the first time, seeing as before, they had merely been a blur as their owner had toppled to the ground. They were a strange white color, with a milky film clouding over them; they never seemed to focus on anything, either. Jay quickly came to a realization- Cecilia was blind.
He had never known a blind individual, and he was a little uncertain on how to react. How should he treat the boy? Of course, that question was silly- just because he was blind didn't mean that Cecelia wasn't a regular human being. Every person, inside that room and out, had their own issues and whatnot that made them truly different from everyone around them. Blindness was simply a bit more noticeable.
He saw Maya extend a hand to Cecilia and wondered if the boy would even know that she had offered him a handshake. He certainly couldn't see it. So Jay opted to wait and see how that went before offering his own hand.
"Glad to meet you, Cecilia," he said, the cheerful tone creeping back into his voice. "My name's Jay Aldous Azul, and I happily welcome the reinforcement." He was referring to the number of girls versus boys, of course, but whether any of his companions would pick up on that or not would have to wait to be seen.
"Thank you," he said.

Cecilia slightly tilted his head toward the only boy other than him and Maya in confusion. He was a little curious about how they're talking to each other but soon realized that they're joking, about what they're talking about, he has no idea but decided not to ask about it. He decided that he can bring the topic up later when they're properly introduced and his luggage is no longer a burden to his tortured arms.
He didn't recognize the hand that is waiting for him to shake from Nott and go on talking without responding to the handshake Nott offered "You can call me Ce or Cece for short" His focus was on Nott but also inform others of his nickname usage as well
Last of all, they seem to be chill with the fact that he's blind and act normal when he unfolded his cane, which's to guide his way in the room, but also an act of declaring his disability, not that he's showing off, but that he wanted them to know it and to acknowledge if anyone is uncomfortable with it. Cecilia would prefer to know if they're annoyed at him since they would be friends this whole summer and would probably accompany each other when they actually attend Hogwarts.
But so far, he hadn't spotted a tiny bit of uncomfortable in any one's voice.
The room is a little bit small, with beds, bunk beds to be exact on each side. He already knew this due to his worry father, August who is so concerned about his son's safety that he sent a letter to require detail information about the place where Cecilia's going to stay the whole summer, it seems to be too much for August's heart to handle the fact that his kid is going to live on a boat away from home in a completely new environment. The night before going to the summer camp, Cecilia had a lecture about how his room is, how to get to his room, what to do when lost, etc... But Cecilia only listened less than half of the long speech before drifting to sleep on the comfy sofa.
"Had anyone taken this bed?"
As the other girl in the room speaks up to introduce herself and at the same time, reassuring Cecilia of his little accident entrancing. Cecilia internally let out a nervous breath that he didn't even know that he had kept since he was nervously knocking at the cabin's door. Cecilia relieved now that all three of his roommates this summer aren't going to be rude or taking advantage of his mistakes, unlike some of his experiences with his previous friend at secondary school."Hello, nice to meet you. Nott Dauhlberg."
"Hello Nott" He greeted, smiling warmly toward to voice.

After Maya’s joke about Jay being the ruler of the room his eyes went wide open and the warmhearted look on his face changed quickly to shock as he turned to look at Maya he slightly blushed and the corner of his mouth curled upwards slightly making a smile
“How kind of you to forgive me” She said standing back into her natural slightly slouched stance “Next time I’ll stomp when I come into the room I wouldn’t want to frighten your highness” she joked again she was glad he joked around and didn’t take himself too seriously and they all seemed nice enough, it seemed like they would all get along
Jay also went back into his normal stance taking his hands off his hips as Cecilia took out his cane and Jay and Nott also introduced themselves to the boy Nott held out her hand for him to shake stepping forward Maya thought about if Cecilia would know Nott was going to shake his hand or not
The new boy Cecilia told the group they could call him Ce or Cece for short she wondered if the others had nicknames as well,
he said in an authoritative voice playing along to the joke"All is forgiven,"
Jay then placed his hands on his hips and puffed his chest out holding an authoritative stance, Maya smirked a little and jokingly curtsied holding the sides of her jacket outwards like you would if wearing a skirt and placed one foot in front of the other"But from now on, I expect you to make as much noise as humanly possible. That way, you won't see me jump five feet in the air next time."

he politely asked Maya walked over to the same bed as Ce “No it’s free” Maya then picked up her suitcase and bag and walked to Notts bed “I guess that’s leaves me with this one” she said talking about the top bunk on the left side of the room”Had anyone taken this bed?”

Posting out of turn on account of Nott's absence. Let's try to stick to the order we currently have when she returns.
“How kind of you to forgive me. Next time I’ll stomp when I come into the room I wouldn’t want to frighten your highness."
Jay's grin widened yet further as Maya continued their little scene. Facing her, he placed one forearm at his waist and bent slightly in a bow, ignoring the fact that such an act defied the character of your average king.
"Much obliged," he said formally.
His attention returned to Cecelia as the boy spoke in reply to Jay's introduction.
"That's a nice name, Azul," he said.
Is it? Jay wondered. He had never really given his surname much thought. Upon a bit of reflection on the matter, he decided it was a pretty good name- certainly a lot better than a lot of the names he had heard.
He shrugged and replied, "Thanks for that. I guess it is."
Cecelia also mentioned that he had a couple of nicknames that they could address him by. Thinking on it for a moment, Jay concluded that he preferred Cece. Therefore, that's exactly what he would call his new friend.
He tried to picture any nicknames that could be derived from the names of the rest of the cabin's occupants, but everyone else's names were relatively short, leaving little need to cut off any extra length. Perhaps he would simply have to use his creative side to devise nicknames for the girls. With a bit of a sly grin, he made a mental note to keep his mind searching for anything that could peg his roommates with new titles.
Cece dragged his luggage to the bed underneath Jay's own and asked if it was taken. Maya told him it wasn't and moved to claim the bunk above Nott.
Clapping Cece on the back, Jay told him happily, "Looks like you'll be sleeping under me then, Cece. Don't worry, I'll do my best to fall straight to the floor if I happen to roll off my bed. Don't want a flailing hand to smack you in the face and wake you up in the middle of the night, after all!"

Ceci was a little bit confused when Jay said that he would try his best not to fall onto the ground. And right that moment when he was about to make a question, Ceci remembers from this morning, his dad had mention 'bunk bed' which is a bed that has another one above it? Ceci couldn't really grasp the idea of this bunk bed thing, all he could understand is that the other person will sleep on another bed above his, in this case, is Jay.
"Don't fall from your bed Jay, a smack from you and I would say adios to my dream gelato"
Ceci replied to the boy in a light joking tone, if tonight he dreams of eating gelato then it would be great, the only frightening thing to fear so far is being woke up from a smack to the face from the pal sleeping above you.
"But please don't actually fall from your bed tho, it would be painful despite the smack happens or not" This time his voice got a little bit more serious, from his experiences, falling from high places is enjoyable to joke about, but not really that funny when you actually fall, it hurts, badly, like that time he fell from the stair and probably all the dozen times he got injured because of falling accidents.
"But seriously, if you so happen to roll down from the bed, then try your best to fall into my bed, I won't mind as long as you don't got injured from the fall, believe me, falling hard on a matera... a matress would be much comfortable than landing gracefully on the floor"
And there you go, Cece had express his motherly nature, a nice one who would be worried about everyone and every little things. Mother instinct is something you can heritage after spending your life with an fussy Italian mom-dad.

Sorry guys I didn’t realise it was my turn to post
Also can you guys read the yellow okay?
Jay's grin widened as Maya played along to their little joking scene, he then placed one arm at his waist and bent slightly in a bow which wasn’t very kingly of him but it was still funny
he said formally sticking to a kingly manor, Maya smiled trying not to laugh and trying to stay in character for the joke. This was going to be a fun group of people to stay with“Most obliged,”
Jay then thanked Cece for the compliment on his name and Cece walked over to the bed and talked to Jay. Jay talked in a joking happy tone that he would try not to hit Ce in the face and he replied to Jay’s statement talking about if he did fall off his bed it was an explanation that was lighthearted and serious all at once, since it wasn’t aimed towards Maya she sort of tuned it out just daydreaming not to be rude more like she wasn’t sure if it classed as eavesdropping
Once he had finished talking Maya spoke up “Now the beds are sorted what do you guys feel like doing?” She asked the group wondering if they wanted to unpack, get to know each other or even go out and look around
Maya climbed up the ladder and sat on her bed which was the top bunk letting her legs dangle off the edge resting on the ladder
