Uncertainty Closed

Rielle sighed heavily as she sat down at an empty desk in the Potions classroom. This was the one class she was not looking forward to; with her luck, she'd either have a potion blow up in her face, or she'd melt her cauldron. Neither was a prospect she looked forward to dealing with, and she felt herself trembling slightly as she got her parchment, ink, feather, and potions book out and placed them on the desk.

Looking around a moment later, she noticed that she was one of the only people who still didn't have anyone sitting with her. This made the butterflies in her stomach flutter even more. The last thing she wanted was to go through this class by herself. What she wouldn't give to have her father here with her, giving her advice, as this had been one of the classes he'd excelled in when he was at Hogwarts. Since that wasn't going to happen however, she figured she might as well simply try to do her best by herself, to keep alert and to write down everything that the professor taught them. It seemed the most logical thing to do. After all, the last thing she wanted was to disappoint her parents by getting a poor grade in this class of all classes.
Uncertainty Closed
Elizabeth glanced over and saw one of her fellow Gryffindors sitting by herself. Elizabeth had finally gotten a partner and she didn't want to take any chances so she sat down feeling regretful glancing over at the lonely student. She looked across the room and it seemed only one other person noticed the lonely girl but she didn't say or do anything to her. Elizabeth realized it was a hufflepuff and hufflepuffs are usually nice and loyal so maybe the hufflepuff girl would talk to the lonely one. This made the room feel extra dark and lonely. Elizabeth knew she had to walk over but couldn't bring herself to do it. Her trust was very low and she was new and knew that she wasn't well known or popular. She contradicted herself with pros and cons of what would happen if she talked to the lonely girl. She then noticed her partner looking at her with concern and Elizabeth told her that she was just blanking out. Her partner then turned to the group beside them and whispered, "Look at that girl over there she must not have any friends." Elizabeth whipped around with fire in her eyes and said "Your so pathetic, if it wasn't for me you would also have no partner and other people would be laughing at you sooo." Elizabeth then stormed over to an empty table and continued to focus on her work without her partner not feeling good about herself at all.

Elizabeth noticed that the hufflepuff girl was making conversation with the partnerless girl. Elizabeth still felt rather awful and decided that she would move over. But then her old partner sat in the empty seat next to her and smiled at her. Elizabeth thought this was rather weird since she had just embarrassed her in front of her friends. Her old partner then spoke saying "So you think that you are cool, you think you can disown a pureblood like me you filthy mudblood. Your muggle mum deserved to die. I hope your muggle father enjoys the same fate." She cackled loudly. Elizabeth was angry and confused "How does she know?" She thought to herself. She felt a hot stream of tears fall down her face before she could help it. "Oh you gonna go cry to your mommy." Elizabeth looked around and noticed that the class was staring at her and snickering. All except for the two girls in the back of the room who were staring at her. The other girl then walked away looking proud of herself. She lost all focus of her work and put her arms in her head and started sobbing thinking that she was never going to have any friends and that the chances of being friends with the two girls were hopeless.
