It was a perfect day for flying. The wind made Koko's caramel hair fly behind her. The sun hit her fair skin and helped to warm her even though it was a nice thirty degrees Celsius outside. And of course the Slytherin wanted to go outside. Why, you might ask? The answer was simple: Koko loved the feel of the wind against her face, and inside the oversized castle, breezes were nonexistent. It might have made for a great deal of restless students if the castle hadn't been so large.

Koko had made her way out to where her flying class was usually held - nothing too fancy. All she had hoped for was a gulp of air, but now she wanted to fly. Flying gave her confidence. She always felt better than others when she was soaring through the air. Koko's golden eyes scanned the area for a broom, and as soon as she found one she inspected it, analysing it with scrutiny. She mounted the broom and took off after making sure that it would be safe to use. Quidditch had taught her many things, and so had her first flying assessment, which she had received an O on. Koko looped around the flying pitch for a small time, pouring the speed a little after a moment or two, and then really speeding up.

It was fun, feeling the wind rush past her flushed cheeks, and actually enjoying herself. That was what Koko missed most about the few memories she had about Sapphire, from before they had been separated. Koko could wish all she wanted, but she would never remember those moments clearly. They were fuzzy. She might be able to, but only in a Pensieve, and Koko doubted she could ever find one. Her flight slowed as she lost enthusiasm, and she began to just lounge on the broom. It was something she knew well, after all. The feel of a broom. Koko had at first wondered how they could hold her weight, but she had given up on guessing. She would be fine as long as it wasn't going to splinter under her. Koko was now nervous. She knew she didn't weigh too much, but she didn't want it to snap under her! She would die!

So to fix her fears, Koko made a dive bomb and pulled up abruptly when she was hovering centimetres above the ground. She was still technically flying, but if the broom snapped, she would still be standing... And then Koko noticed that this was a much stronger broom than what she was used to. She would be absolutely fine. She kicked off again and hovered about three metres above the ground, a slight smile on her face. More of a smirk, really. She couldn't help but be pleased with herself for her eyes noticing all that. But... What if she wasn't allowed to fly. Well, that was too bad. Koko didn't give a crap about what the professor thought about that - she was a Quidditch player, and she needed practice!

Days like this required flying. Warmth had a sort of personality to it, happy and inviting, and due to this, Olphie only had fond memories of when she flew in such wonderful weather. Now that she was back at Hogwarts, the memories felt as though they had become reality once more, though she was considerably older and more famous. Still, one could pretend, and the thought of reliving the glory days of her youth, in addition to sunshine, inspired Olphie to take Nombus on a little afternoon flight.

She was making her way to the Quidditch pitch to relive the glory days properly when Olphie passed by the spot that her Flying classes were normally held. A glint of movement caught in her eye. Was that a student? If it was, the trip down memory lane could wait, for Olphie could not resist mentoring anyone who had even the slightest possibility for mentorship in Quidditch.

The unidentified girl was hovering just a bit above the ground, so Olphie walked towards her instead of getting on her broom. She was wearing her Quidditch robes, thus looking quite unremarkable clothing-wise, but one could not argue that she didn't look fabulous nonetheless. Makeup perfectly contoured, with bright green eyeshadow to recall her Slytherin house heritage, Olphie couldn't help but smile at how lucky the girl would feel to see that the greatest Flying professor in Hogwarts history.

Clutching Nombus, Olphie smiled as she remarked, "That was quite a wonderful dive, dear. Now tell me: are you the next Quidditch superstar? I should hope that you are on the team, with moves like that."

Today, was sure a great day to fly. Which was why there were so many people in the Quidditch Training Pitch, and which was also why she had to spend her time to patrol that area. But seriously, standing there half an hour to look at people turning their wand and flying around was so, so so so boring.

Seriously, how could they find that kind of stuff interesting? So Weird. She actually wanted to leave after five minutes looking at them, but just to be on the safe side, she stood there for thirty minutes to see if anyone broke the rules, or was injured like falling down, breaking legs and stuff. But with the fact that nothing had happened, she decided to leave. It actually bored her, watching people just flying around with some brooms.

The most horrible thing was that she had forgotten her books at home, so nothing entertainment her while she was doing her job. The Slytherin Prefect couldn't leave either, because she knew she wouldn't want to come back here again. She knew herself the best, and she also knew she would focus on what she was reading more than what happened around her. The last time she gave detention, she also brought a book but not so interesting so that she could focus more on that girl. The problem was that she had already read all the not-so-interesting ones, so now she only had good books in her dorm.

Luna stopped thinking when she realized that this was not the way to go back to the Slytherin dorm room. This place was... the Flying class area? She wasn't really sure about that but based on the familiar things around here, maybe.

She should be more focused on things around... Luna mumbled and decided to leave. But then, two familiar faces stopped her from doing it. Kokonut? Why was Kokonut here? Ah right, if she was not wrong, that girl was one of the Slytherin Quidditch Player. And the person near her... Was that the new professor? The name... Something Bercegeay. Onnie Bercegeay? If she wasn't wrong, it was... Oofie Bercegeay. Right. Luna sighed and looked at those two, wondered why they were together.

Just because I said you were bad does not mean that I am mean. It shows that I am honest.

[quote]A voice floated in out of nowhere. It was somewhat familiar, but Koko couldn't place it... Was it... Was she asking if Koko would be a quidditch superstar? Complimenting her dive? A broad grin spread across the girl's face at the prospect of a compliment.

Koko glanced at the flying professor. She held a broom - was that a Nimbus 2001? Wow. Super expensive. Koko didn't yet have even a fourth of the galleons needed to buy that. "Oh, thank you," she said to Olphie. "I would definitely love to make it on a Quidditch Team. I play for Slytherin right now, you see, and I'm a beater... Oh, aren't you that one beater for the Harpies? The only all-female team in the British League? Weren't you... Olphie Bercegeay?" Koko could hardly believe it. A well-known Quidditch player had complimented her flying. That was insane.

She kicked off once more, this time getting a little higher in the air than she had before. School brooms could be shitty, but this one wasn't nearly as brittle as most of them. In fact, it was quite strong. Koko wondered what model it was before flying in another loop around the area, and then she saw it. Her greatest fear. The fear that would ruin her day.

A girl with purple hair. She was cold, detention-giving, and also probably quite angry with Koko. Why? Koko had forgotten to owl her back the necklace because she hadn't given any proof. So of course Koko's flight stopped abruptly, and she did as well. She sat straight up, her golden eyes wide with horror as she stared down at the pale face of Prefect Fridge Choi.

Noooooooooo! Koko thought, beginning to hyperventilate as her mind raced. No, no, no, no, no. Koko closed her eyes, quite literally sucked up her pride, and she swooped down to greet Fridge. "H-H-Hello!" the scared Slytherin stammered. "W-what brings you here on a fine day like this..? P-patrolling? I saw y-you standing there." Her eyes darted around; she didn't dare to meet Fridge's eyes. They were too scary to look at. Cold and unforgiving, which was the least of Koko's needs right now. She peered at Fridge. "I believe you remember me," she said, her fear beginning to fade. She was slightly less scared of Fridge after the encounter with the bloody Hufflepuff, but also more scared because of the incident with the necklace. And Koko felt as if she had just died, because she had left the necklace in the Common Room. Shit. What would Fridge think if she knew?

The golden-eyed child seemed awed, of course, of Olphie's beauty and confidence. She wasn't a true fan, of course, because a true fan would be smart enough to realize that Olphie could not play on the Holyhead Harpies and be a professor at the same time. But it was okay. Children were dumb. That was why she would hire a sexy centaur to take care of her beautiful progeny when they were worthy of being birthed.

Part of life was always seeking for improvements, so Olphie would correct the child: "No, dear. I am not a beater for the Holyhead Harpies, but I was once the star reserve. You might remember my game against the Montrose Magpies, where I lead the team 320-20. I hope you can have a game like that some day!"

She was going to ask the girl further questions about Slytherin's Quidditch team, as she had been a Slytherin herself, but the girl rudely kicked off without another thought. Most normal people would inquire more about the superstars many accomplishments. It was quite rude that this child did not.

The newest child entered silently, didn't say a word, and Olphie would not have noticed her had the first child not acted frightened. While the Flying was much more interesting than a mute child, Olphie could not help but fix her gaze on the purple-haired perplexity. This was what the airborne girl was afraid of? She was small, probably couldn't even crush a fly, and the only thing unusual about her was the way she stylishly matched her eyes and ears. Olphie only had regular fashion tastes - she wouldn't dare dye her hair and eyes such a color - but she had to admit it was very hip of the small child.

"Miss-" Olphie began, now more interested in the girl before her than the one who was airborne. Quidditch was her one true love, but sometimes fashion took precedence. Olphie had noticed that the other professors dressed quite stuffy and was looking to improve their styles the best she could. Since there were more students than adults here, she figured that it would be best to simply advise her fellow professors, lost as they were, to match such styles. "How did you get your eyes to be such a lovely color?"

Luna mumbled something that she couldn't even remember, started walking back to the right direction, her dorm. She had no interested in looking at people flying around, hitting others or the school or trees and ended up crying like babies who saw a lizard and cried because they thought it was a dinosaur.

Or she should say, they would cry like Water Tap? It was not like she called that kid with this nickname from nowhere. That girl cried a lot, every day, every time, everywhere without hesitation. Luna thought she did something wrong at first, but now she didn't even care about it anymore. She had never seen this girl without tears. Water Tap would be a perfect nickname for that girl. Her family had to be so poor that they trained this girl into something that could create water for them.

Well, that was enough about that girl, the thing was... this other girl. Kokonut Riddle. Wasn't Kokonut scared of her and wanted to avoid her? Why on earth would she go talk to Luna first? The first thought that came to the Slytherin Prefect's mind was: Maybe the girl accidentally hit her head somewhere. Flying around and fell like an idiot, that wasn't the first time she heard about this. Not to mention, this girl was using this broom to fly, there could be a high chance she had fallen before talking to the professor, hit her head too hard and became an idiot.

To be fair, there could be another reason why she was acting so weird like this. The new professor might talk to her about her grade. It might be too horrible which made Kokonut shocked and her brain couldn't function anymore. How sad.

It could also be that she had good grades so that it shocked her? She had never heard that someone could be happy enough to make their brain turned them into an idiot, but maybe that was happening right now, in front of her.

However, did that mean Luna will treat her nicer than usual? Nope. She didn't even care about how Kokonut was feeling. If someone was expecting something nice from Luna, that person had to be dumber than Haynes, who she was sure was the dumbest kid ever.

What she cared about right now was that this girl stopped her from going back to her dorm. Things always went against her every time she decided to leave. Having a peaceful life was hard, especially in Hogwarts. To be fair, she had already given up for a peaceful life since she became a prefect. Why did she apply for this job again?

"It's none of your business." She didn't hate this girl nor liking her. Trying to be mean? She wasn't the cute girl like before. Luna thought it was unnecessary to tell Kokonut about her plan. She wasn't a Head of the House, Headmaster or a Professor, there was no reason for Luna to tell her anything. Her guess was not wrong though, she was patrolling, but not anymore. She had just finished her job.

"What if I do? What if I do not?" She could still remember. This wasn't the first time or second time they met. Not to mention, the necklace. It didn't seem like the girl had it right now, so even if she wasted her time telling Kokonut to give her, it was impossible. However, if we forgot about that, there was no reason why she had to tell Kokonut about her plan.

She turned to the other way, decided to leave before anything else happened that made her stop again. Luna was fast, but now she wish she was faster. She did not know how, but the professor was now right near her, asking her a question about her eyes.

Maybe she should think about asking Nico to switch patrolling places with her. Bad things always happened when she was doing her job on the ground. It was pretty annoying that she didn't ask any troubles but they kept appearing.

Luna quietly looked at the professor. She had never really cared about how she looked, or how others looked. Fashion and stuff, the girl had no interested. Asking her that kind of question... heh.

Without hesitation, the lavendered hair girl walked past the professor as if she couldn't hear her question or noticing that she was standing there. She had no energy to deal with more annoying people, which Miss Bercegeay would probably be in.

Just because I said you were bad does not mean that I am mean. It shows that I am honest.

None of her business. Well. That sucked. Koko bit her lip as she swirled in the sky, pondering Fridge's words. She really didn't like this girl. Fridge was mean. Ruthless. A true Slytherin. Although Koko sometimes pondered why she was put in the House of criminals, she had no idea how Fridge could have been placed in any other House. How the violet-haired girl became a Prefect, however, was truly questionable.

She flew back down towards Fridge, her eyes closed for a moment before she opened them to meet lavender. "You think I care?" she whispered, barely loud enough to be heard before hovering maybe a metrre above the ground. Koko did not offer Fridge a smile; she merely stood there as Professor Bercegeay complimented the violet-haired girl's eyes. Koko felt mildly insulted at the fact that the professor did not find her eyes interesting. They were a normal colour, yes, but they were a rare normal colour. They were yellowy with a reddish-brownish tint! Amber!

However, Koko was surprised when the other Slytherin just walked past the celebrity without a word. Rude. Professor Bercegeay wasn't supposed to just be ignored. "Fridge!" Koko shouted, going against her own instinct just out of some will to one-up the other girl. "She asked you a question! Are you deaf?" She turned to the professor, hopping off of her broom and standing up at her full - albeit not too tall - height. She was taller than Fridge, she realised. Not that it meant much; the other girl was probably more magically adept... But Koko was faster. She could pack a punch if she needed to... Not that she would. She was too... scared... to do so.

"I'm sorry about her behaviour, Professor. You shouldn't be treated like that. You deserve better than to teach such ungrateful students." The words were genuine, and the emotion behind them could be seen in Koko's amber eyes. She really was sorry. Apologetic. But wasn't she always? Koko always felt as if she had to apologise for something, as if she couldn't speak her mind unless it was in the form of an apology. And what for? Because she was scared? Yes, that sounded about right. She was scared. But not of the Professor; the Professor was who was giving her confidence at the moment. "Professor Bercegeay, it has been an honour to be able to meet you and talk with you."

Olphie was aghast at the fact that that pretty, violet-eyed girl just walked past a celebrity without a word! Though, of course, Olphie had a few people who had acted inappropriately toward her, this was, quite possibly, one of the most humiliating moments. An child, probably no older than ten, just walking past her and ignoring such a beautiful, personable, and wonderful professor like herself, even moreso a professor who used to be the star of her Quidditch team? The audacity.

Luckily, the second child seemed to understand what a horrific crime that other girl had brought upon Olphie Camille Bercegeay's life. Olphie wondered why the second girl called the first girl "Frisk," but Olphie knew that the name Olphie was a strange one, itself, so she would not judge for what the girl's parents had named her.

The second apologized to Olphie, and the Flying professor nodded in appreciation, flashing one of her large smiles. "It's all right, dear," she said, continuing to flash her teeth, which she had whitened using magic the day before, "I know you cannot control her, of course. Miss Fragile will hopefully return or else I will have to consider some...forced quality time with me. But it is an honor to meet you as well, my dear. Do you have a name as clever as your classmate's? I can't guarantee I'll remember it - there's so many new people to meet, here! - but I will do my best, of course. And are you a Quidditch player, yourself? I was one back in the day, of course, for your own house, it seems! How I miss those harsh, but cozy dungeons."

She wanted to chatter along more about her school days, but Olphie knew how overwhelmed the child seemed to be in the presence of such a celebrity. Instead, she former beater just looked on to the kinder girl and continued to smile.
