When I'm writing an essay, can I take information from HP Wiki and cite it, or will points be taken off for that? I'm planning to use some information from that website and it would look much better if I cited it, but I would just like to make sure it's not against the rules...

You can certainly use the information from the website as long as you don't copy it. Make sure to put it in your own words, maybe add a pinch of your own thought, if you're not opposed to it.

Spoiler alert, but I'm aiming for Andrew to become an Animagus. The above has me a little nervous here since I haven't yet started on Transfiguration homework. Can you only become an Animagus if you achieve straight O's in Transfiguration? Or are there / will there be other ways? Does this question belong here? I don't know..

@Andrew Vance Hey, sorry about the late reply! Staff has decided that being an Animagus will be completely unrelated to Transfiguration - you'll find its prereqs in the Abilities section of the Encyclopedia. You'll have to wait until Fifth Year to gain the ability, but other than that just write a 400-word RP and you're set, even if you have straight T's in every Transfiguration homework.
