Quidditch Gryffindor vs Hufflepuff - Fall 2024

How could this game still be going, Erlea wondered. It wasn't that she was bad at her job, or the others on her team. Just that that little golden ball eluded her teams seeker. She hoped and prayed to whatever maker that the snitch would somehow be found. But for now, dhe would focus on her job as keeper. That was her priority.

Broom: Comet 180 (+1 to Sta and Eva, +2 to Acc) *already noted in brackets in stats

They had obtained points! But, not enough. Roxette with the rest of the Chasers given their grave situation decided the best way to go forth without Seekers and Beaters was to score and controlled the Quaffle as much as possible. She joined into a Hawkshead formation. They figured that was the best route to take control and hopefully the lead enough before the Gryffindor team's Seeker got the Golden Snitch. So far, it was good yet Gryffindor still was able to managed scoring points too. They needed to stop their ability to score and controlled the Quaffle as well as keep an eye in those Bludgers. Roxette hoped and prayed their strategy works.

This was... just sad. Gryffindor had a commanding lead, but for some reason, Elsian
just couldn't catch the snitch. If this was how he was going to perform, Dan (Who, I hasten to add, the announcer absolutely was NOT.) would have little to worry about.
Finnegan, however...

"Fohkeen' 'ell! Finney's roight unstoppable, 'e is! Lad's runnin the Quaffle all on 'is own!"

The quest for the snitch that seemed to last a lifetime was still ongoing. However, finally, Elsian's fingers closed around the little golden ball that had been making a fool of him for over half an hour straight.

"Elsian has caught the Snitch! The match is over!!
Bloody finally, Jeysus..."

The bludgers were still coming from Gryffindor, for some reason. Perhaps they were tired of waiting eons for Elsian to catch the snitch, and wanted to end the game themselves by wiping out Hufflepuff completely.
Roxette managed to dodge her bludger, but Jess was not so lucky. Knocked off her broom and plummeting to the absolutely saturated mud below. Alyssea almost joined, but managed to hold on despite the bludger ricocheting into her.

"An' that's Jess gone! Probly gonna need a shower while she's in the hospital wing!"

Bludgers

Horrendously offended that Hufflepuff didn't hit one of them, a bludger decided to go rogue, and smash into Roxette. Likely picking her because she had dodged his brother earlier. Unlike Ethan, it managed to hit, and knock Roxette off her broom.

"Ooooh! Outed by a Rogue Bludger! Never seen THAT before!"

Blatches and Saves and Stuff

No one needed saving, and no one blatched.

Finally, the game had finished. Everyone could get out of this rain and get dried off. Maybe have some cocoa.

"Thank olla ya fer comin' out in dis weather! Have a wonderful-"
At that moment, banging was heard on the door, and the entirely unknown announcer escaped out a window, by turning into a falcon and flying off before anyone oculd breach the door.
