When The Lights Go Out You Have To Get Creative

That day Airlia felt homesick. A feeling all too familiar to her since she'd come to Hogwarts... Well actually it wasn't her home Airlia was missing, it was the people that lived there; her family. Especially her brother that was eight years her senior-and had attended Hogwarts before her and gained his fair share of fans, knowledge, and titles. Titles which included trophies. He had been a model student that some people still buzzed about.

The boys wanted to be him, the girls wanted to date him and the teachers favored him. He was quite the student and teacher body favorite when it came to Hogwarts. He had the looks, the brains and the skills to be popular and his Slytherin traits only helped him along the way.

Only if the girls had known that they never stood a chance to get him as he was more eager to spend time with the boys.

Now Airlia walked towards the trophy room where she knew her brother's name was written on a multitude of golden blagues and medals. Seeing something he had treasured made her feel a bit closer to him, even as she knew that once she got home, he wouldn't be there waiting for her. He was somewhere in the Caribbean with his boyfriend, after running away from home.

And how Airlia wished she could have joined them.

But here she was standing in the trophy room in the dark as for some reason she couldn't find a candle, nor a torch she could light with Incendio, a spell she'd learned in Herbology. The candles had burned out from the room, and the torch was missing from the wall and thus Airlia had no way of emitting light into the dark room.

Unless... She thought as she looked down at the book she was holding in her hands.

Logan had been looking around, deciding to explore the area. He'd explored most of the castle by now, so this was one of the last few areas he needed, well, wanted to explore.

He was walking at what for him was a normal speed, which for others was a fast walking speed. He often actually disliked how slow people walk - often calling the people around him 'arthritic snails' under his breath, or just in his mind, when walking through the corridors to get to lessons.

He was walking at this speed, and looking around, learning what the surroundings looked like. He was aware that the trophy room was this way, and thought it might be nice to check it out.

The corridors were tall, the ceilings much further up than in a normal school's corridors. Probably because most schools aren't castles, he figured.

The corridor was also quite long, and there was still quite a distance he needed to walk before he would reach his chosen destination, the Trophy Room.

He figured some of his grandparents, or perhaps his parents, might've earnt some kind of trophy. Afterall, three of his grandparents, and both of his parents, went to Hogwarts, it was quite likely at least one of them earnt at least one trophy.
