Hate Shows In The Eyes PV Closed

Anyone that had ever met young Miss Airlia Winter knew that the word 'hate' was missing from her vocabulary. It was as if the emotion itself was lacking from her as she seemed incapable of feeling it. Nothing seemed to truly annoy her because she could always see the good in everything and everyone.

She didn't seem to have bad days, or people that disliked her, nor anything that could agitate her really. Every obstacle she saw as a lesson, every bad turn in her life was a plot twist and even repeatable bad luck was something that never bothered her.

But today... She was about to learn what the word hate meant... Oh well... Maybe not. Dislike was a more accurate word for what she would later feel, but as such an unknown feeling, it got to her more than it should have.

Airlia had just been through her first official 'bad day'. Meaning the type of day when everything goes wrong. She first couldn't sleep, then slept for an hour only to fall off her bed, hit her head to the bedside table and take a trip to the hospital wing which meant that once again she missed breakfast. She was also late from her first class, which resulted in her getting a public berating from the teacher before she told him why exactly she had been late in the first place. After that, she realized she'd forgotten her books and had to spend the class sharing the book of a boy that kept sneezing on her. Which she didn't dare say anything about but now thought she should have because the early symptoms of a cold were already hitting her. She mixed up instructions in potions, blowing up a cauldron, misplaced some of her homework which she then had to redo and thus didn't make it to lunch.

Now she was walking down the small hall, hungry, with a headache and walking towards the library to have her first break of the day. She held her most valuable book to her chest. It had been a gift from her father on her ninth birthday and Airlia was finally going to read the book. The book had been sitting in the shelf for over two years and deserved a good scrolling through.

You see this book, was not just any book. Her father had brought it from his trip to France where he had bought it from an auction: The book was a gem, a rarity as there has ever been made only five copies of the book and Airlia was currently holding one of those copies, unaware that a second one also resided in the castle, under the bed of a certain Ravenclaw.

Said Ravenclaw was walking down the same hallway as Airlia smacked right into her, falling down on the ground rather hard, acquiring her second minor injury of the day.
