Elena didn't manage nor want to avoid Griffith, just staring up at the sky, after a moment she could feel herself being scooped up and didn't worry about it at all, for a split second her own mind whispered that this is what trust felt like.

Elena was too tired to squash it for once.

Being placed into a little pavilion pocket dimension thingy was actually quite fun, very pretty, and Elena simply sat back against a wall and stared out, it was safe here, in the pocket dimension, and the adrenaline was wearing off, which meant Elena was feeling woozy.

Of course, the girl laughed at the joke, or the perceived joke, whichever it really was in the end, "Pocket dimension, in a pocket, clever fun. Good one."

More kids came in after, and Elena started to drift off, slowly at first then all at once. The universe, if it was unkind like people said it was, would've probably given her a night terror or two for what she'd just seen, and the burning and the screaming but it seemed tonight the universe felt kinder, or at least sorry for the little girl.

Tonight she dreamed of sweeter things, chocolate and peacocks, one of the other kids would need to wake her up, probably.
Elena'll get out of this somehow, but for now is asleep.

I'm weak my love.

Illowy watched as one by one the Professor plucked the children up and dropped them into his pocket until all that were left were those who were out of his reach and herself. Little did she know that would lead to his attention being on her now as he questioned if she'd picked anything up.

By this point, she now had a small collection of dolls; the one she'd found resembling Issac, the one Issac had found resembling Dinara, and how the one she'd found with Dinara resembling Xailah. Though she was unaware of the doll in Elizabeth's possession that resembled herself. The girl carefully rose to her feet, brushing off the dirt and dead leaves sticking to her. Though what was the point by now, she was undeniably filthy from this little romp, but now she was faced with a choice.

She could either tell the Professor what she'd found and relinquish it to him, or lie about her findings.

However, Illowy Magnard was not brought up to lie to an authority figure; and given the fact that she didn't know what these things were, what they might be able to do and the fact that they were incredibly uncanny and creepy and found in the middle of the Forbidden Forest, it would probably be unwise to keep it...

Nervously the girl dug into her pockets, the Xailah doll in one hand while the other pair were bound together with a bit of fabric she'd used so she wouldn't lose them, "I wasn't sure if it was wise to them behind..." she explained meekly. The child swallowed hard, wondering of she'd get a scolding for having held on the dolls without knowing about them to the fullest extent, nor what they were capable of.

I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.

She was okay. Dinara was okay. The girl Illowy would get to the trembling young Hufflepuff first. Then Griffith. And for a second she didn't even take notice of Griffith plucking children off the ground and stuffing them into his pockets. But when she did, she freaked. With the adrenaline pumping through her, the last thing Griffith should have probably done, was try to grab her. She turned quickly on her heel to run, but she wasn't fast enough. A million little quills shot up from her back for a brief moment before sinking back into the pale porcelain flesh from which they came, and depending on how, and where Griffith grabbed her; it was possible that he could have been pricked. For a millisecond she was a human pincushion. The quills were not poisonous or anything fancy like that. They were simply, an unintentional warning.

The professors firm hand sent Xailah into his pocket; squirming and swearing. What happened after that was a bit of a blur. She wasn't exactly sure if she fell to the bottom of the pocket, or climbed down- whatever, the point is that she was at the bottom of his pocket. Minus the cage, it would have the potential to be a roomy little area. It wasn't too bad. She sat there for a second, taking a look at her surroundings. She looked up to find a ladder, and remembered that she was still a bit angry. She growled and shook it vigorously. The blue-haired child from before, was here. Asleep. She was out light a light. Xailah circled the girl briefly; poking her once with the tip of her umbrella. She would jump back if the child stirred. Understanding, that people liked their sleep; she decided to leave the blue-haired girl alone. She walked laps around the caged area, looking for some way out. The lock on the cage wasn't hard to find. She fiddled with it until it opened.

She turned to close the door to the cage, before booking it. As soon as she stepped out of the pavilion she just ran. Was she aware of the fact that there was probably nowhere to run? Yes. Yes she was. She was a bit of a curious little brat, but she was not stupid. Eventually she would stumble upon, what looked to be a dressing cabinet. It was big. Or maybe she was just small. Whatever it was; it was irrelevant. The cabinet was locked, much to her disappointment. Its okay Griffith we all know you have a Olphie body pillow stuffed in there. Forget the dolls, forget the party, forget the fire. She wanted the dresser opened. Now. And if there was one thing she was good at, it was picking locks. If this dresser was not locked via magic, she would try to pick it. If it was locked by magic...well, she would start trying to take off hinges. There had to be something important, or useful in there. This dresser was going to open.

Griffith's face did a pretty remarkable thing. For a moment, one might have confused him for a metamorphmagus, or some sort of shapeshifting octopus. His face, previously sporting a healthy tan, turned bright, pasty, paper white as the color drained from it faster than it reasonably should have. He less asked for more simply took the dolls, cursing to himself as he did so, but reassuring the girl that everything was fine at the same time. Also, why had that one girl felt like a bunch of needles?

"By the gods and the divine and everything damnable or blessed in this good forsaken rock of a world... It's fine, I just need to take these... Damnation incarnate, did goku have to deal with this? no he damn well did not, with him it was just beam beam beam, bomb bomb bomb."

A thick leather bag was procured from his other pocket, which happened to hold glass jars, into which he began placing the dolls. Separately. Carefully. He didn't know many wards, but the ones he did know where slapped on the jars before they went back in to the bag.

"Where's fucking gandalf when you really need a deux ex machina? If any of these kids touched the little... just... oH crap what if they did."

If he was in danger? Sure, it was pretty easy to keep cool. If he died, he died. If a creature was in danger, he knew what to do, it was pretty easy, and in theory that should apply to kids as well but kids were different. He didn't really know what to do with them and it made this whole business with the voodoo dolls of death so much worse. It was about now that he noticed that the slytherin girl was still standing there. He scooped her into his pocket with a quick

"Don't worry too much, I'll figure this out."

Had he checked the fainted hufflepuff for dolls? Maybe that was what had taken her out like that to begin with, he didn't know. He would check all of them as soon as he had a moment, but for now he had to search the area, try to find any others that may have been laying around. And while he was at it, he had to make sure the kids didn't do anything stupid. Cramming his hand into a pocket, Griffith mumbled

"I choose you, gretchen."

Pulled up an abnormally large beautiful blue butterfly, and proceeded to place it in the other pocket along with the kids before beginning his foraging glances along the forest floor.

"Let's stay at home, I said, it's just a ball, I said, what could go wrong, I said, they don't need me there, I said. Well look at me now. Look at me fu-cking now. A pound of flesh, no two pounds of flesh from every sorry excuse for a faculty member that chose to go on their date nights, or manicure spa cucumber sparcklestravaganzas. If a single maraca was involved I swear to GOD I will jam it so far into their spleen that they're going to cough up the mote of dust that used to be their moral code."
The dresser decides to not get picked, unlike the other lock as it is indeed magically locked. It doesn't look all too strong though, you could probably get it open with a charm, like alohomora, or with a decent pry bar. It seems to mock your attacks at the hinges, however, as the hinge appears to have been magicked into existence, and is therefore lacking a easy bolt to pry out. The wood doesn't seem to strong though, you might just be able to carve it open, assuming you had a knife. Assuming you break it open, you will discover a small, carved wooden box with another lock on it, however one that can be picked, a small parasol, a suit coat, three gloves, one blue, one green, one red, hanging from hooks of the same color, a butterfly net and a few gold coins with moffy's face on them, as well as a set of drawers that also appear to be locked.

"But...it's too...wait!" Elizabeth stammered and took a few steps toward Illowy, following her. Suddenly, she felt strong arms around her and felt herself being hoisted up by the professor's strong arms. "Hey!" the child exclaimed and began trying to escape his grasp, but it was of no use, and she felt herself falling down into a hole, landing with a hard plop on the ground beneath. She was inside his pocket - again.

Elizabeth quickly stood up and looked up at the hole. All she wanted to do was make sure her friend was safe and her injuries attended to, but she was thrawted again. The young girl placed her hands on her hips, exhaustion and fear giving way to anger. It isn't Illowy's job to find the other kids!" she thought, clenching her fists. "YOU CAN'T KEEP ME IN HERE FOREVER!" she shouted, treating the man as less as a professor and more as a crazy psycho who wanted to hold her hostage.

She began angrily pacing back and forth trying to figure out how to get out of this cage and help her friends when she spotted the ladder. Quickly, she walked toward it and began climbing up, angry thoughts swirling in her head. One minute, everyone was at the party, having a good time, the next minute, chaos in the Forbidden Forest. This is exactly what happens when one professor is expected to deal with everything, she thought.

She was so wrapped up in her own thoughts, that she didn't even notice the small figure of her friend falling through the hole. Instead, she continued climbing until she had managed to fall out of the pocket and on to the hard forest floor. She stood up and glared at the professor. "Where's Illowy?" she exclaimed, her hands on her hips. And then, just in case he didn’t recall which one Illowy was, she pulled the doll representing her out of her pocket. “She looks like this,” Elizabeth said, holding up the doll.

This whole night was slowly becoming a blur of two simple emotions; fear and anxiety; and the look on the Professor's face invoked both in the girl as he stared at the dolls in her hand before swiping them away from her. He certainly didn't seem angry at her for having them. He was simply trying to reassure her that everything was going to be fine. That was certainly difficult to take at face value when the only adult there was muttering and cursing to himself.

The Slytherin girl watched curiously as he produced jars from his ominous, vast pockets, stuffing each doll into their own jar with clear intention to keep them trapped inside, which only sparked her need to know more about what they were. Had she been unknowingly carrying something frightening or dangerous enough to make even the stoic Professor Morfran afraid?

He muttered again, something on and on about touching the dolls. Should she be more afraid then she was already? She had touched them... consistently. What where they? A fear, nearly akin to the fear of facing the dementor, rose like a heat through her chest to her face and made her heart pound. He turned to her once more, as though surprised she was still there somehow; but before she could even open her mouth to ask more questions, he scooped her up and dropped her in his pocket along with the others.

On her way down, she couldn't help but catch a flash of ash dusted blonde hair,. That stupid, silly girl can't stay put for anything! The girl thought, managing to catch herself just behind the other on the ladder as the Hufflepuff tumbled out. Illowy was nervous and anxious and just wanting to go home; She'd had quite enough of tonight, "Elizabeth!" she called, hoping the girl might hear her as she scurried up, wondering if this was to be her life's work trying to constantly wrangle the Hufflepuff with the worry she might get herself hurt.

Hours of excitement, abject horror, and exhaustion had done absolutely nothing to aid the Slytherin in the art of grace as she tumbled out of the pocket. There were new born deer on ice that held more poise and dignity then Illowy Magnard as she collided with her friend onto the unforgiving ground, "Elizabeth, can't you just stay put so we can go home?" she groaned sorely as she sat up. Her eyes immediately fell on her 'mini me'.

Her pale eyes went wide at the sight of it in the blonde's hand, "You... you found me?" certainly it was one thing finding the creepily uncanny likenesses of your friends, but it felt unnervingly different to stare your own likeness in the face.

I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.

"Come on..." Her slender fingers fumbled at the lock, with irritation. C'mon open you little fucker. She moved over to the hinges, only to be disappointed; to find that they had no way of being undone or removed. She circled the piece of furniture, before kicking it in the back out of frustration. CRACK! Her once-nice-boot went right through the dressers backing. That easy? It was that easy? She couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed; slinking down the frail wood, only to bury her face in her arm.

This night was supposed to be fun, not frustrating, or dangerous for that matter. She sighed before picking up her umbrella, so she could pry away the rest of the backing. Well we don't always get what we want, do we? No, no of course not. She began taking all the contents out of the now destroyed dresser. It was full of weird crap. She found three gloves, none of them matched, but they disappeared into her little bag quickly. Next item was a suit coat. It wasn't completely horrible. She threw it to the side with disinterest. Next up was a parasol that looked like it came off of Antiques Roadshow. It was cute, but found that it was a strange object for such a masculine man to own. Whatever. She was keeping it. And a butterfly net? She was pretty convinced that Griffith was a pansy now. What a weenie. Maybe she could find a use for the net.

She found some shiny coins too. Could't really tell who was on them, except for the fact that they weren't the prettiest person in the world. She tossed them between her hands so she could hear them jingle. They too went into her satchel. Ah..but if you try sometime you find; you get what you need. She reached in one more time; producing a small carved wooden box. She took a brief moment to examine it, before setting it down with the coat. I'll come back to you later. She took the little hooks that the gloves were previously on, before sweeping the bits of frail wood beneath the dresser.

Turning her attention back to the objects that she had set down; she picked up the coat to see if it would fit her. It was..a little too big. It immediately swallowed up her arms when she put it on. Now the box. Hm. She put that in her bag too. She could open it later. There was some commotion coming from the cage that she was previously in. After seeing the big ass butterfly in there, she couldn't help but feel a little happy that she escaped. It appeared that the small blonde child was throwing a fit. Xailah would just stand and watch as children dropped into the pocket, and made an attempt to escape. It was humorous to say the least. But the thing that was actually funny, was the fact that Griffith didn't really do anything to deserve this.

Elizabeth almost jumped out of her skin when she heard her name from behind. She quickly turned to see her friend. “Illowy!” she exclaimed for the second time that night, relief flooding through her. “I thought you ran off aga - ”

She trailed off when she noticed her friend staring at the doll. “Yeah, it was in the forest. I almost stepped on it, honestly.. I’m so glad I didn’t.” Then, in almost a conspiratorial tone she said, “I think it’s a voodoo doll.

Elizabeth looked at her friend with wide eyes, then said, “Imagine what would have happened if I had stepped on it! But I didn't. I kept it safe, and now here we are.” Elizabeth frowned and looked around. They could hardly count themselves as safe, but at least all of them were together now, and a professor was with them, so they were better off than before. Elizabeth also failed to tell her friend that she had, in fact, accidentally let the doll get slightly torn in a few spots when she was running through the forest, deciding that the less the girl knew about that, the better.

She turned back to the professor, a sheepish look on her face. And to imagine I was about to yell at him for this whole mess, she thought, glad that Illowy had appeared before she did anything too drastic. “Do you want this?” she asked him about the doll, “Or would you prefer I kept it, seeing as I’ll be in your pocket?”

The girl, the unconscious hufflepuff climbed up and waved the doll in his face, asking if he'd seen the girl the doll represented. No. This was so far out of his jurisdiction, what on earth had he even done? What god had he offended and why couldn't the children just sit still and be saved so he could get them out of here before they all died a horrible death at the hands of some cackling super villain. Did the doctor have to deal with this? Ever? Well, yes. Griffith took some comfort in the fact that a fictional time travelling doctor often suffered the same headache that he himself was currently facing, but the solace was nowhere near sufficient to calm him down.

And that was when the slytherin girl bumped into the hufflepuff. The fact that she hadn't touched the doll was a miracle, but a miracle that was helped along a bit by the professor grabbing Illowy by the robe and forcefully flinging her behind him into a bush, after which he grabbed the doll and crammed it into it's own bottle.

"Christ on a FUCKING bike I do not get paid enough for this. I am so sorry for throwing you but if you ever touch a hair on a doll that looks like you's head you let me know right away because that is magic so dark it would make spock shiver in fear. Oh derelict and damnable dragons of drudgery and sin why is this a thing. You. Get in my pocket and stay there and don't touch or do anything until I get us the hell out of this forest."

It was a less a demand more a statement, as he grabbed her yet again and crammed the girl into his pocket before turning for the slytherin girl he had chucked.

"Again, very sorry. That was my fault. If you see any more let me know yesterday, please and thank you and bye."

She, too, went quickly into the pocket, leaving none of the students out in the open. It was just Griffith, and his pockets, versus the forest. This was not good. No sir.

"Aw crap. Bet you 12 galleons there's a trap. I choose you! Grail!"

He whipped out a small cat from his other pocket, although it was a bit more regal than a regular cat should be. It had more intelligence in it's eyes, more poise. It was, in fact, a baby kneazle he was taking care of for an upcoming class. He had named it after monty python and the holy grail, because he had always been a fan of the hidden cats in all the scenes. Still, it could probably sense danger better than he could.

"Finite Incantatem! Protego! Fuckin' Appare Vestigium!"

Griffith fired off spells that he thought could possibly be helpful as he marched swiftly out of the forest. He was getting out of there, and he was doing it last week. He didn't have anything against the addams family, but this was far too creepy.
Gretchen, the butterfly, lands on xailah's head. If she tries to shake it off, it will fly away, only to come right back. Any attempts to catch or grab it, using either conventional means or the bug net, will lead to a near miss. Griffith leaves forest with students in pockets unless stopped.

Illowy couldn't do anything but stare at the doll in that moment. Who in the world had created such a thing, and had the accuracy to make them look so exact. From her long dark hair, down to the very dress she was wearing, even in spite of the thing being tattered and torn a bit, there was no denying who it was meant to represent, just like all of the other dolls.

However, before Illowy could come up with anything to say, much less reach for it before she was snatched up by the back of her clothes and flung back behind her teacher with a sharp yip as she crash landed in a bush. Certainly not the softest landing, but she had to admit it was the softest she'd had all night.

The girl whined a bit in her throat, wiggling about trying to get her feet back on the ground as she was poked and scratched at by branches, shooting her teacher a look of confusion and disbelief that he'd really truly just tossed her about like a rag doll. No pun intended

Her hues watched as he quickly produced one more bottle for her likeness, shoving it inside quickly as he cursed and tried to explain himself. At least she was right, these things were dark magic; but that was certainly a given by this point. How was she to know if she'd touched 'even a hair' on the dolls head, especially during tumble? Why couldn't he just explain everything instead of using strange and confusing phrases that she didn't have a hope of understanding in this moment?

She watched Elizabeth get dropped off once more into the pocket before he came for her as well. Be it her own exhaustion for not understanding his phrasing, the Professor himself simply being an odd type of duck, or chalking everything up to everyone being pushed beyond beyond their limits tonight, whatever it was Illowy could only stare as he gave his order before whisking her up once more from the bush and dropping her back into his pocket. Her exhausted mind not even having the time to protest, even if she wanted to.

By the time the girl reached the bottom, she'd already made the decision she wasn't moving from where ever she landed. The girl was burned, scratched up, sore, scared and beyond the point of tired. She looked around herself for a moment, taking a mental count that everyone they'd come in with was there; and thankfully they were.

We came in together, we get out together, she thought. This was her first moment of actual rest all night, and with every bodily chemical meant to keep her alive in situations like this finally fading off, her head started to swim. If Elizabeth, or anyone else, for that matter tried speaking to her, it wouldn't reach the snake as she shielded her eyes, trying to will away the dancing dots clouding her vision. In the end, even if she wanted to keep going and see out the end of this little adventure, her body had decided differently as the girl lost consciousness and crumpled over onto the floor. She was done for the night. The only thing left to do was return home to Hogwarts.

I was told I was dangerous. When I asked why, they said, "Because you don't need anyone." That's when I smiled.
