Karina walked into the room. Quidditch Cheer practice was today. The first one ever. Hogwarts never had a cheer leading team before, this was the first, and it was all Karina's idea. It was too much pressure, it was already the day of practice, and she still didn't deliver half of the uniforms. She needed an assistant.
"Alrighty, just because I am a 1st year, doesn't mean I cannot be treated with respect, and that doesn't mean I can't control an entire group of students, some older than me."
She sighed. Too much pressure, too, too much. She waited, the group of students should be arriving in an hour, it starts at 4pm. Well, then, Karina better get preparing.
She dragged in a white board, and a muggle marker, she had. She began to write.
____________________________________________________________
RULE 1: Please be respectful at all times. Take care of your teammates, props, and other equipment.
RULE 2: No foul language is accepted. We do not bully the other team members and the other groups. The Group Teams are: Ravendor and Slytherpuff.
RULE 3: No food please, we don't want any chocking happening!
RULE 4: Students MUST attend all practices, if you can't attend for whatever reason, make sure to let the heads of the teams and Me know ahead of time. Head of Ravendor: Ula Takahashi. Head of Slytherpuff: Irina Cawthorne.
RULE 5: Additional practice times and dates will be posted in this thread, and any late commers are accepted. In this thread, you will write about your experiences at the cheer practice.
_____________________________________________________
Karina looked at the time, it was only 3:15. She had a long, long time still. She wrote a little more on the board:
____________________________________________________
Meiyu Xiang and Evpraksiya Vinogradova will have some uniform alterations, make sure you ask them for some.
____________________________________________________
Karina waited for the students to come in. Maybe some of the team members have some ideas on what they will do today. She had a few ideas in mind. They can get to know each other first, then she will answer any questions and towards 5pm, they will begin practicing. The team practices would start at 4pm and end at 5:30pm.
Karina grabbed a piece paper and wrote all of the roles of the members down, then she hung it up on the door.
Teams: Ravendor and Slytherpuff
(If you are a Ravenclaw or Gryffindor, you are on team Ravendor (you can brainstorm better team names later)) (If you are a Slytherin or Hufflepuff you are on team Slytherpuff (again you can brainstorm better team names later)

@Gekko Phillips | MENTIONINGCruuuuuunccch! The peppermint made a satisfying crunch as Cirrus gnawed at it. He felt a bit of content as the peppermint evaporated in his mouth leaving him with the taste of the extract and what felt like a cool breeze in his mouth. Icy Breath. He glanced over at his Remembrall seeing it clouded up, it had turned into a beautiful whirlwind of scarlet, a deep sea of red. The wizarding world was truly an astonishing thing, he sat on his bed admiring the glass orb with gold rims. Cirrus had been so dazed about the orb he had almost forgotten what it had even met... Exactly that! He had forgotten something, he scratched his head as he trashed his room trying to figure out what he had forgotten exactly. By the time Cirrus had finished, which was usually an elegant and clean room, it had looked like a tornado had struck. While he was reveling in the destruction and havoc he had caused he spotted something amongst the rubble. He outstretched his hand warily as if it might attack, he was hesitant as he pushed the disheveled shirt off... his calendar.
Cirrus could swear he felt a blast of what felt like a power surge around him like a sonic boom as he opened the pages, revealing the exact date. In bold red letters, it had read:
응원단
CHEER SQUAD. Cirrus gasped as all the memories of his past fled back into his mind, the deepest depths, the darkest corners had been released! It was powerful, the knowledge of all the things he had forgotten. Cirrus's eyes sparkled and shined in utter confidence as he closed the calendar which suddenly felt like it had the weight of thousands of pounds. He looked at the room vowing to bring it back to it's once unmatchable glory, saluting before quickly changing out of school robes to something more warm and comfy. The robes were nice and all but they felt heavy on his neck. He didn't bother with his hair, he had done it this morning like his mom had shown him but it had gotten messed up throughout the long grueling school day. He slammed his door lazily as he left, just to come running back a few moments later. His orb had turned red again, e had forgotten his gym bag which held his mascot costume, he slammed the door once more. Cirrus couldn't wait to see what Gekko's reaction would be when she found out he was the Hufflepuff Mascot. He just knew that she would think he was so cool, even maybe he would get a hug. He didn't know he was being delusional. He beamed a certain aura of happiness emitted from him. He looked at the page accidentally bumping into people every once in a while as he made his way to the rehearsal room, he walked in greeting anyone who was there with a polite hello and handshake.

Quidditch Practice
25th November, 6.45 before breakfast
Sabina was enjoying her blissful sleep, sprawled out over the duvet, her arm covering her eyes when an envelope slammed on it. She sat up with a yelp, hands flinging up in a defensive motion which send the letter flying once again. Her family's owl, Tevis - the culprit - let out a disaprooving hoot from where he sat down on the ledge of her bed, hopping away from the girl, narrowing his eyes at her. Sabrina returned the gesture, elaveting it further by sticking her tongue out. Shoving the duvets aside, hearing yet another unhappy hoot from her owl behind her, she climbed down the bunked bed, jumping down the last few steps.
Quietly, as to not wake her roommates, she stalked to the letter laying on the floor, opening it in her lap as she sat down, legs folding under her. It was from her parents. She smiled brightly, reading through it eagerly, not stoping to look at Tevis, who had flown down to sit beside her. They wrote about what they did this week, inquiring her about her own. There were muggle photos in the envelope too, no doubt her fathers doing, that she didn't even have the chance to pull out before reading a particulary thought provoking line within the letter.
They proceeded to write about how proud they were, urging her to report back on it in her next letter. She blinked down at the sentence, rereading it, utterly confused. Cheer squad. What cheer squad? Her brows shot up as her mind cleared, smacking her forehead with her palm. Quddich cheer squad, of course! She signed up for it a while ago, and proceeded to completaly forget about its existence. The first practise was.. today, actually. She silently thanked her parents for their accidental reminder as she stood up. Since she was up already, she might as well get ready for the day....Congratulations on getting on the cheer squad, honey!..
Later that day, 16.07 after afternoon classes
Sabrina changed into more appropriate clothes on the girl's loo's right after classes, not wanting to waste time running up to the dorms. Her hair was pulled up into a small ponytail, orange and purple hair clips securing it as she walked down the hall in her black sneakers, purple leggins overlayed with brightly orange skirt and a fuzzy brown-ish orange jumper. Reaching the huge slightly open door of the rehearsal room, she skimmed through the paper on it that listed all the members. The position in brackets next to her name read 'member and Assistant Choreographer', which - was unexpected, but hey, she isn't one to back down from a challenge.
Pushing the door open, she beamed at the students inside, waving excitedly at Karina, who organized the whole thing, before approaching her with a broad smile.
"Karina, hi! It's so nice to see you again, so sorry about your detention, by the way. I don't think it was really fair. How have you been?"

Oh boy! Irina is rarely ever late for anything in her life, even her birth! Sure, there's a first for everything-anything but the cheer team! What the girl knew deep down was also the fact that she could be overreacting as her thoughts ran through a thousand thoughts: the term fashionably late helped keep her hopes up, but nothing beats first impressions! Here's the thing: the girl isn't even more than five minutes late, so one may wonder why this girl is so in a rush. Well, prepare your drumroll folks...Irina Cawthorne is the head cheerleader of not just one house, but two houses- and to add up to the pressure first every cheerleading team in Hogwarts...that she knows of, at least.
Before getting closer to her destination, she looked left and then right to make sure no one was watching her tidy herself up, her perfect bow high ponytail look, the loose yet baggy outerwear that she immediately took off to reveal her house cheer uniform, and lastly, a tiny tinge of lip oil-always keep your lips moisturized and dehydrated folks!
As she stood tall to look at herself in the mirror, her only thought was 'perfection'. The girl prided herself in buying an added 2-inch sneakers that helped her look taller too, and more mature than she ought to think of herself as. After all, this would be her first grand entrance as anything major within a community she saw within the board that Ula would be there too! As the most compatible position to Irina: her rival. It's hard to believe Ula and her have been friends for more days than the count of her fingers...despite their differences and her rough edges, she will be forever grateful for their encounter.
Much of her delight also came when she realized a first year was in charge as the founder of the club, she could only hope to relieve some pressure from them with her presence. Taking a big huff to her chest, and turning her nervous wobbly feet to someone she hoped was worthy of being a leader; she thanked god she was an amazing actress.
With her makeup tool behind her and her ballet years reminisced, the moment she walked into the rehearsal room there she saw no less or more than three people. Her lips turned slightly away from the delicate smile she carved into an almost scowl-like expression, feeling as if she was scowled by the world on being in-between of late and early, fashionably whelmed with no one to compliment her on it. Shame...(come on, what else was she going to do with her veela heritage?-well there's singing, dancing, blinding people in duels...but nothing beats compliments!) she made sure the scowl on her face didn't last long though, as she looked around the place to find somewhere to put her items in before talking with anyone.
'I guess I'll just wait.'

Quidditch Practice
Yolanda was now a new team member of the Cheerleading team. This was a great day!
Okay, so she got in because they were low on numbers in Ravenclaw – not necessarily based on her physical prowess and co-ordination… which was… lacking.
But – as her sister told her – practice practice practice. Practice it well and slow and then speed will come. Showing up is half the battle! Her sisters words rang through her head as if becoming her own. She could do this. She just had to show up.
Nervous, curious, and late, she walked over to the Rehearsal Room quickly. Taking a deep breath before entering the room she forced herself to enter without peering in. She didn’t want to end up frozen waiting at the door like a scared First Year – so she just went in.
She was glad there were already people there but also anxious. That there were people there….
Time for show-time!
She hadn’t been delivered a Uniform so she’d gotten a blue one. She felt odd in it. Like a fraud. With a ribbon tied up in her hair. She never wore ribbons although she did enjoy the look of it. The tugging and pulling wasn't quite as fun...
They don’t know anything about you – Yolanda chided herself – you’re a First Year. Maybe you’re a super girly girl for all they know. Today you are. She had tied up her messy hair as best she could in an attempt to look good. She didn’t wear make-up as she didn’t really know how to put it on much yet, she was still 11.
Yolanda saw a sign for Ravendor – that must be where she needed to be. She wasn’t sure what to do or say so she waved a hello at the founder of the club and wandered over to the Ravendor sign ups.
Yolanda wasn’t certain what to do so she began to stretch a bit – she didn’t want to get in there and be all tense. This is one place stretching and warming up would make sense.
To new beginnings and a fun cheerleading practice!

There were many parts of the castle which Meiyu had yet to explore, the Rehearsal Room being one of them, besides, she had no reason to. That was until she joined Cheerleading, a reason unbeknownst to her and unexpected for her character. It was likely accredited to Ula, her dorm-mate, bragging about how she made head cheerleader for both Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, the doll like girl urging her to join also, though the disadvantage outweighed the advantages, thus she found herself approaching the doors of the Rehearsal Room, equipped with altered uniforms for the Ravendors.
4pm, sharp. Meiyu glanced down to her brown wrist watch, gifted by her uncle Cyrus when she had initially received her acceptance letter. The smaller hand struck to '10', signalling her tardiness, being almost ten minutes late, not ideal for the first meet. Using the palms of her hands to push the heavy doors, Meiyu finally made her way in, the shabby surroundings and lack of equipment immediately raising her brow, a board outlining the rules, though rule three in particular; no food? Rehearsal would only last little over an hour, surely snacks would be deemed acceptable. In addition to the peculiar rules, the lack of attendees, almost four in total aside from the girl who stood by the board, one boys amongst all girls, caught her interest.
He was slightly shorter than she was, his height raising questions as to how he had been accepted in the first place, appearing more excited than she had done so, though Meiyu's presence often dulled even the brightest atmosphere, catching him greeting and shaking hands with those who arrived. With her head raised high, Meiyu strode into the hall, discarding the beige gym bag to the side that she had painfully she trudged along with her, filled with the altercations she had made over the weekend. It was much heavier than it appeared, the weight of the excess outfits combined with additional equipment she brought to aid the rehearsal, for Ula's ease of course.
As her eyes continued to divert around the room, she noticed a composition book, resting a few inches away from the other gym bags, with her expression stoic as she crouched down to pick up a beetle covered notebook. Flipping through to the first page, "If found please return to me, the owner! Prized possession of Cirrus Nam. Please do not read the contents of the pages!", the same sentence written below in Korean, one of her native tongues. Cirrus Nam? Meiyu's brows furrowed in confusion, her gaze moving from the notebook in her hands to the participants currently present, it would not take a genius to figure who that was. Without further hesitation, she strode towards the shorter boy, extending the hand which carried the notebook to the short boy.
"I presume this is yours?" She spoke softly, her tone mimicking her calm composure as she returned the private property to its rightful owner, who oddly shared a similar heritage to her.

@none | MENTIONINGCirrus walked over to where the others had placed their gym bags, unslinging it from his shoulder only to be met with a slight surprise. The bag was unzipped, he shook his head at his own mistake knowing how his mom would scold him for it. The boy quickly crouched down, zipping it up. Cirrus plopped himself on the ground, sitting with his legs crossed and his back slouched, yawning slightly. He made sure to give a small awkward wave and a polite smile to everyone who walked in, then he slowly realized that is was mostly girls. Not that he minded at all, but did any other boys sign-up as well? Maybe they were just late, Cirrus puffed his lips out as he thought to himself. He observed the people around him, making a small report of the students to see if he knew anyone. Nope. He just decided to stretch until the next instructions were given to the cheer squad, or until at least a good amount of other kids came in. He was attempting to touch his toes when he heard a clear yet soft voice break through the air.
"I presume this is yours?"
Cirrus slowly looked up to meet eyes with a round-faced girl with scarlet hair that cascaded past her shoulders. He recognized her, but he couldn't remember where she was from. Oliver Armani's Birthday Party He slowly looked towards her outstretched hand to see his journal. His earx immediately tinged pink as he stood up and sheepishly reached out his hand to take it back. He quickly bowed giving a thanks.

Now, Karina had to start asking around for some ideas. Ideas of what, though? She had so many things on her mind, now that she started this club.
She reached into her pocket, which she felt a letter. She had received it earlier from one of the students, requesting to be on the team. That is something she had to focus on. She must ask the rest of the squad if the student could join.
"Alright, everyone! Gather around! I know that not everyone is here yet, but while we wait, allow me to inform you on another teammate. Kiera Roseline, a 2nd year in Hufflepuff, she requests to join the team. Let's brainstorm!"

Gryffindor Cheer Uniform| OUTFIT
#B68EA7 | DIALOGUE
@Meiyu Xiang
@Cirrus Nam
| MENTIONING
The ravenette walked briskly through the castle halls, her oversized sunglasses shielding her eyes from the harsh sunlight streaming through the windows. The dull throb of a migraine lingered at her temples, a reminder of the morning she'd barely managed to push through. It had taken everything she had to get out of bed. Even tying her long black hair into its sleek ponytail, secured with a Gryffindor-red ribbon, had felt like an impossible task.
Her cheer uniform, gleaming and pristine, was more than just team pride—it was armor. She'd barely looked in the mirror before leaving her dorm, but the polished sheen of her uniform was enough to remind her she wasn't here to falter.
Chewing gum in a slow, deliberate rhythm, Ula turned the corner, her stride becoming more purposeful as she approached the rehearsal room. Someone's instructions could be heard faintly through the thick oak door, the voice sharp and commanding, yet with an edge of nervous energy that gave them away. She softly snorted at that. Bet it's the first year in charge of this.
Ula let her hand rest on the handle for a moment, breathing deeply as she prepared to step inside. Late as she was and as much as her temples throbbed in pain, she'd make sure her entrance counted.
She pushed it open with enough force to draw eyes, her entrance hopefully pulling attention.
"Apologies for the delay," she said smoothly, her tone sharp enough to make it seem intentional rather than apologetic. She adjusted her sunglasses, raising them just slightly to peek over at Meiyu and Cirrus, who stood off to the side mid-conversation. With a playful wink sent their way, she let the sunnies drop back over her eyes before stepping further into the room.
From the corner of her eye, Ula caught sight of Irina Cawthorne. The Slytherpuff cheer captain exuded her usual polish, her high ponytail bouncing, and her uniform impeccable. Their eyes met, and Ula felt the tension rise—not antagonistic, but sharp, competitive.
Ula sauntered toward her, her headache momentarily forgotten as she leaned against a nearby table."Irina," she started, her voice smooth despite the gum in her mouth. She tilted her head, her lips curving into a faint smirk. "So, it's finally happening. You ready to see who’s the better leader?"
The challenge was unmistakable, but there was a flicker of warmth beneath it. It wasn't personal. But here, now, they had a chance to prove themselves.
