Closed Make My Own Rules

I've explored all of Hogwarts now. Every nook and cranny is precariously mapped out in my mind and then down on paper. I decide to explore outside the walls of school and see the Forbidden Forest. I plan to go there later, but for now I settle on the Great Lake. Its so pretty at night with the stars gleaming off its surface. I don't realize how late it is until the gates are closing I race to them but I can't make it in time and they shut right before my eyes. Great. Its day 6 and I've already been locked outside. I know the gates open at 6 AM so in let's see, I count on my fingers. 8 hours. Luckily its a warmish night so far. I head back to the lake and find some tall grass and moss that's surprisingly soft and comfy. I lay my head down on some moss i puffed up and stacked together and fall asleep. I wake up to the sound of the scraping of metal. I look up to see the gates open. I breathe a sigh of relief and trudge towards them. I'm starving for some reason and make my way to the Great Hall for breakfast. Someone comments on how I'm up early and I smile and nod. I keep my head down praying no one noticed my absense last night. Slowly other Hufflepuffs file into the Great hall and sit around me. No one remarks how I wasn't in bed last night. Whether they knew and are just to kind to say anything or if they just don't know is a mystery to me. I make it through breakfast without being caught, then the afternoon, and finally its dinner and bed and I haven't been caught. Yet
