My Secret Place
I can't do this any longer. I can't be without Graci, my twin sister. Being without her so long (5 days) feels as if someone has cut me in half and ripped away half of me. I was so excited to come to Hogwarts but now its just miserable, I never see my sister and I can't manage to find friends. I've never been one for friends I never needed them. Graci was always there. I decide one day to find a place that I can have to myself, a place I can come when I need a spot away from the chaos of the Hufflepuff common room. Everyone is so nice, too nice in my opinion. They all talk to me politely, never talk bad, sugar coat ligitimately everything and never say anything harmful. I've always liked how my family teased eachother with sarcasm, sass, always said the flat out truth as it was. I just need a quiet place to sort out the events that have happened the past days. I trudge down the hallway searching for a place to hide when I find a door that has cobwebs in the corner of the door frame. Well if no one has been down that door long enough for cobwebs to start I think this is as good a room as any. I open the door and a horrid smell hits me and a cobweb hits my face as well. I see I've found myself in a bathroom no one has used in a while. I can see why its horrible in here, its all cracked everywhere, dirty and grimy, it smells bad even for a bathroom. And I think its perfect for my place. I hurry back to my dorm room and snatch my favorite books and some chocolate and hurry back to the bathroom. I find a corner with the least amount of spider webs and plop down and open my book and chocolate. I finally get to the best part of my book when the door to the bathroom opens.

My Secret Place
To say I missed Zoe was an understatement but I'll leave it at that. I need no one's sympathy. Some small part of me knew this was inevitable, despite my best efforts to ignore that part I was unable to do so.
Today I decided to find her.
I figured she would be in the hiding phase of separation. She was always much more of a drama person than I was.
And my twin telepathy would obviously be able to find her (note the sarcasm).
She would have gotten tired of the Hufflepuffs' over-the-top sweetness, with her sarcastic, sassy demeanor.
I wandered for a bit, thought the second floor corridors, figuring she would pick something less inhabited.
And I was right. I had found the perfect Zoe isolation chamber. A door covered in spiderwebs. There was a sight on the door but it was a bit dusty. I brushed it off with one of the sleeves on my robes.
'BATHROOM' it read. Great. I braced for the smell that would have to emit from an abandoned bathroom.
I slowly creaked open the door and sure enough. I almost gagged but had a feeling I'd get used to it.
I looked around a bit. And there she was, in a corner. Zoe.

My Secret Place
I gape at the person who has just entered my secret (now not so secret) room. When I come to my senses of who it is I hurry over to her and wrap Graci in a hug. Words come tumbling out of my mouth so fast I can't even tell what I'm saying, but Graci knows. She always does, I assume she knows most of it but there's just something about voicing your thoughts and opinions that is oddly satisfying and helpful. Graci's always been better at hiding her true feelings from people, but I used to feel there was no need for that. Now I am beginning to understand why it could be a useful skill. I decide to practice it later when i'm surrounded by all those cheerful and happy people. I release Graci from my grasp and we wander to my corner, I hand her a book to read and give her some chocolate to eat. Most people might think this is a lame way to spend time together but I think it's the best. This way we can both be in our own separate worlds, so far away and yet we are sitting so close we can touch the other. About an hour later Graci turns and says something to me.

"I know that it's hard, but just give it a try. I am, and it's hard. I also know that you're taking it harder. I found you in a BATHROOM of all places. You know it's desperate when you're in a cobwebbed bathroom." I looked around distastefully. I was never a fan of messy and/or dirty places, and this was the epitome of dirty places, cracked porcelain, dirt, and a musty smell to the air. "We should go, not now, but soon. You can't hide in here all day. You need to take care of yourself and get to know your people."
She sighs and starts to say something, but I don't let her.
"I'm not finished, you are a resourceful person, you can figure it out. The best way to get through the next several years. You will get it, I promise."
I smile reassuringly, then get up, dust off my robes, and stride to the door, "Don't be a stranger, just because you're a Hufflepuff does not mean you have to stop being your usual sassy self, you know? Just... don't be a stranger."
She smiles back at me, "Oh, never, how could I?"
"You never know." I shut the door behind me and travel through the ever confusing halls.
