The Ravenclaw Table 2017-2018
The brown-haired let out a sigh as she sat down at the table once again, though more near to the talkative students. She set her trunk down under the table, making sure it was close enough (so no one would be able to steal it from her) as she didn’t trust the other people at this place. Folding her arms, the girl laid her head on it on a small empty space on the long table, her red scarf now covering very much of her face (she didn’t have much care on if she looked funny or not like this).
The students were talking more as more students joined the conversation, and the brown-haired girl continued listening to the conversation, not adding anything to it, thinking of how much she just wanted to go to the dorms. She felt more groggy as the time went on, and she reached for a golden plate of roast chicken, cutting it into small pieces with the, also, golden knife. Eating the pieces of the delicious chicken, the girl looked around at the food, eyes widening at the fact that there were no healthy food to be seen anywhere. No fresh fruits, so salads, fish, rice and pasta. The girl grumbled, wondering how all the wizards (and witches) she had seen so far weren’t unhealthy looking (or they could have just been hiding it with spells, the girl considered). Deciding that simply eating and looking around the large room (as if it could be called that), the girl spoke up in a quiet voice, ”I’m Evianna.” She wouldn’t expect anyone to hear her as her voice had been quite low in volume, and would continue looking around the area.

The Ravenclaw Table 2017-2018
Sefton had sat down at the table after being sorted. He was far too glad that it was over with. His mind had been like a raging war between calming himself down and concocting new things to worry about until he had finally been sorted into what he thought would be a pretty okay house to be in for the next seven years of his life.
The table was noisy and loud, filled with the buzzing of Ravenclaws from first years to seventh years. It didn’t bother him too much, but it was difficult to join a conversation. It seemed like everyone had already made their friends.
The slim boy had gathered his food when he heard Evianna Crowther introduce herself to what seemed like no one in particular. He stuck his hand out to her in a enthusiastically friendly manner.
“Sefton Ailbrooke. Hi,” the boy introduced himself, flashing a wide, friendly grin to the fellow Ravenclaw. His mother had always told him that the best way to introduce yourself was the say your name and present the person with a nice handshake in order for the relationship to start off more intimately. His fiery brown eyes flashed behind his glasses, in which one of the lens had a defined crack running down it.

The Ravenclaw Table 2017-2018
Shawn walked up to the table, slowly rubbing his eyes as he took a seat. He slowly ate the meal, glad to have some warm food in his belly. He was ready to start his first day of schooling, carrying several magical history books for his first class.
After several minutes of eating, he pulled out a piece of parchment and quill, and started to write a letter to his parents. He wrote quietly, telling them all the exciting things he had seen so far, and how the different everything was from home. Oh course he didn't mention how nervous he was, or how he was struggling to introduce himself to knew people. It wasn't that he didn't want to make friends, it was just.. he wasn't sure how to approach all of these new people.
After a few minutes or writing, he folded the letter and tucked it into his bag, so that he could send it off later. In exchange, he pulled out his want. He looked at the wooden stick, tracing his fingertips across it's surface. It looked so simple. In all honesty, it looked like a wooden stick that had been trimmed down. But, it wasn't, it was a wand. Shawn, just for a moment, could feel the energy connect with him.
After a minute, Shawn placed the wand back into his bag, and turned his attention back to getting ready for the day.

The Ravenclaw Table 2017-2018
Shrugging her shoulders, she was unable to understand why she was not a fan of Charms. Perhaps because Charms was not really her best subject. Granted, she wouldn't know as classes had not started. She looked at the Ravenclaw boy again and realized that it was Ryan Brixton, the boy that caught Felicity's heart. Having a perfect opportunity to talk to him, she decided that it was best to meet the other Ravenclaw's that were joining the table.
A quiet girl seemed to have joined the table and Bloom was able to listen to her words that were faint. "Hi Evianna! I'm Bloom," she introduced herself. She even saw two more Ravenclaw boys that came to sit. One of them seemed really hungry as he was the only one really eating.
What was she supposed to say to them? Everyone seemed to already be introducing one another or just coming for the food and leaving. Bloom decided that it was best for her to stay at the table and converse with anyone who approaches her. At least I have Ben with me, she thought, remembering that Ben was sitting right next to her. She held his hand and looked around with her chocolate almond-shaped eyes, trying to listen to conversations and grab any voices that were not as loud like Evianna's.

The Ravenclaw Table 2017-2018
Horace just keeps walking about the castle exploring new places and looking at the beauty while stopping some places if he sees something interesting. Today this wandering wizard somehow came to a place he often doesn't want to be in THE GREAT HALL. He just gets really scared of this place for some reason he just doesn't want to be in a huge crowded space like this. There is no quite corner for him here but still his curiosity takes him places he never wants to be in.
Horace just quite sneaks to the ravenclaw table and takes a seat trying not to bother anyone. He just takes some random food in front of him and quietly starts nibbling on it. Food is not the reason why he is here its the people around him he is interested in. He is looking for no one in particular but rather he wants to listen to the gossips that take place here.
He also somewhat wants to be a part of all this but he just roams in the shadows of the castle which is why he hardly knows anyone. He likes to be alone but looking at so many people around everywhere talking among themselves about things and experiences he feels lonely now. He is determined to go out there in the crowd and try to make friends. Coming to the great hall is the first step for him.

The Ravenclaw Table 2017-2018
Perlyn peered into the Great Hall, her head only sticking out enough to let her take in the view within. Her chest was pressed against the rim of the entrance with her left forearm supporting the female's weight. Nervously rubbing the pad of her index finger against the wall, Perlyn tightened her grip on a small novel which she held securely between her right arm and stomach.
Perlyn was a fairly antisocial person, but did enjoy talking to others. The only thing getting in her way was her social anxiety. Though she had no desire to eat and preferred silence over chatter, the female still came to the Great Hall to read. Perhaps someone would strike up a conversation with her.
Taking in a large breath, Perlyn forced herself forward into the large room, her fingers slidding across the trimming as she went. Surrounding her were the loud sounds of chatter and dining and infront of her sat four large table. Each table was filled with multiple students from each house. Shifting her attention towards the table where the members of Ravenclaw resided, Perlyn hurriedly shuffled to an empty spot at the end of the large table.
Allowing her weight to fall upon the seat, Perlyn stiffened up ever so slightly, her guard rising. Gently placing her novel upon the surface of the table, she thoroughly scanned the surrounding individuals. Once she had studied each person, Perlyn immediately began reading the novel, quickly getting absorbed into the story. Being defensive of the novel which she treasured so dearly, Perlyn shifted herself, her body practically covering the entire book. Of course she did this without truly thinking as she was absorbed with reading the words that lined the pages, though the position did constantly manage to look quite strange.
As the female continued reading, the chatter and noises surrounding her faded into the background, becoming almost mute. Her eyes refused to remove themselves from the words within the novel. As her imagination stirred, Perlyn's body eventually relaxed, becoming comfortable with her surroundings.

The Ravenclaw Table 2017-2018
Natasha hasn’t made any new friends and she has been at Hogwarts for over a month. She decided it was time to talk to some people. Heading into the Great Hall, she notices many, many people running around, laughing, talking to friends. She looks around for the Ravenclaw table, and finds it on the other side of the room, right between the Slytherin and the Gryffindor tables. She nervously walks over there, trying not to bump into any walking students. She hesitates on where to sit then finds a brown haired girl engrossed in a book. From where Natasha was standing, she couldn’t see the book. Seeing as the girl looked like a bookworm, Tasha decided to go ask the Ravenclaw what book she was reading - Tasha was in need of a new book agpfter all.
Walking over to the girl, she sits a couple seats away from her, plotting her next move. Tasha never exactly learned how to approach people as she didn’t have many friend back at her Muggle school. Scooping some food into her plate, she starts to eat quietly, only looking at the girl a couple of times. Against all logic, Tasha decides to face her fears and just start up a conversation.
“Hey, uh, whatcha reading there? I’m, in need of a new, um, book recommendation.” Natasha stutters. She was never good at at talking to people and she knew it. Tasha was sure the girl had figured it out too.

The Ravenclaw Table 2017-2018
Perlyn's concentration on her book snapped when she heard a voice call out to her. She turned her now wide blue eyes upward, her vision landing on a fellow female member of Ravenclaw who was looking at her. A look of slight surprise rested upon her features as she studied the individual for a moment. Perlyn's surprised look quickly turned into one of embarrassment as she realized the position her body currently rested in. Her cheeks flushing a light red, the female shifted her position, removing her chest from practically covering the book.
"Oh... Oh, um..."
Perlyn stuttered with her words, unsure of how to respond. She honestly hadn't truly expected someone to strike up a conversation with her as most left her alone when she was as engrossed as she just was in her book. Though, she did hope for someone to starting to her.
'I guess my hopes were properly placed...'
"I... I'm reading the book Outlander by Diana Gabaldon," Perlyn placed a small, hook-like bookmark between the two pages she was reading, fully turning her attention to the female which spoke to her.
"You're welcome to read some of it to see if you would like. Well... If you're into romance and adventure that is..." She pushed the book towards the Ravenclaw girl as she spoke.
"If you like it you're welcome to borrow it! It's my fourth time re-reading it." Perlyn now spoke with a slight smile, chuckling nervously as she finished her sentence.

The Ravenclaw Table 2017-2018
Cameron noticed students roaming the tables in the Great Hall and decided to do the same. He went to the table in the far right side of the Great Hall which was the Ravenclaw table. He walked over and waved at a few students that noticed him. He managed to talk with one of the Ravenclaw boys and mentioned his disturbance with his recent grade in Potions class. They talked for a brief 10 minites before moving on to another topic. He heard this boy looked forward to Care of Magical Creatures lesson. Cameron heard of that class and has read a few books in the library pertaining to magical creatures in the wizarding world. He came across some magical creatures in the greenhouses but those only posed less of a threat than the ones that lived in the Forbidden Forest. Another student came over and played the game patty cake as he gave the student a high five while she sang the riddle. He laughed, and looked around him hoping no one else heard his laugh. Cameron wasn't one to laugh much and when he did he felt self conscious about it. He enjoyed his time at the table.

The Ravenclaw Table 2017-2018
After her sorting Cordelia eyes were entranced by the views The Great Hall provdied.
The Mountains of food...the floating candles that flickered above accenting the sky.
She wondered how any of the things she seen were possible, and a small whisper in her ear only said "Magic"
She trailed over too where she assumed her table was what with all the shouting earlier hopefully without tripping anyone up. As she sat at an empty her eyes sweeped across the table this time focusing on the faces in front of her. They seemed quiet even if they were chatting jovially yet quietly between themselves letting curiosity fuel her actions she looked to observe the other tables.
The Red of Gryfindoor talked loudly,The Green of Slytherin seemed alright with everyone until some slipped up and recieved a hiss of an insult,The Yellow of Hufflepuff...to put simply all seemed liked sweet hearts.
Cordelia as she looked over the faces of the people in this hall wondered if anyone was like her;Getting a face full of culture shock.
She takes a piece of fruit and nibbles on it seeming as it was her safest bet.
...she wondered if she should talk to somebody....
